"I don't know," Liora said, staring at her hand in wonder. "But I can feel... something. Like awareness extending beyond me. Like I can sense..." She closed her eyes, focusing. "The pack bonds. I can feel them. All of them. Everyone bound to you, I can sense them now too."
Thessian's eyes widened. "That's impossible. Pack bonds are Alpha territory. Mates feel their Alpha's bond, but they don't sense the pack directly—"
"Well I'm sensing them now," Liora interrupted. "I can feel Marcus and Devon miles away. I can feel the pack house, all those wolves who think I'm a murderer. I can feel their emotions through the bonds, their locations, their—" She gasped, her eyes snapping open. "Thessian, I can feel the traitors. The ones working against you. They feel... different. Discordant. Like notes out of tune in a symphony."
He stared at her. "You can identify traitors through the pack bonds?"
