"I think we should all freshen up first," Apple added, practical as always, his eyes already scanning the room as if planning the next order of movement. He looked tired but relieved to finally be indoors. Straw, who was already imagining which dessert she would taste first, grumbled. Her stomach growled loud enough that she pressed a hand against it in annoyance, as if that would silence it.
