The man's voice sounded disjointed in Nieza's head. She recognized that voice; it was Aliniere's.
"Aliniere...?! Is that true?" Nieza said hurriedly, scanning her surroundings.
There was no response. Nieza realized that at her current level, she couldn't communicate with Aliniere.
Suddenly, her gaze fell on the schoolyard from behind a window in the third-floor hallway. A black dome with hierglyph-like writings appeared in the center of the field. The black dome continued to expand, enveloping the entire school. The sky darkened. Diablo's Eye appeared. Code: Doomsday was coming.
"Class 3-D... one person... is in danger..."
Aliniere's voice rang out again. Nieza tied her long hair with a black ribbon and rolled up a small section of the sleeve of her school blazer. She immediately ran to her classroom.
"Sunt un representative of Aliniere!" Nieza shouted as she ran to her classroom.
Blue flames spread across her body. Black gloves bearing the crescent moon symbol were worn on both hands, as were her dark brown boots. Nieza immediately floated to her classroom.
"CRACK!"
Nieza opened the door quickly. The classroom looked darker than usual. Her classmates were frozen, as still as statues. They were sitting in their respective positions. From their last poses before they froze, Nieza could see some were chatting, falling asleep at their desks, studying, and daydreaming while staring out the window. Nieza noticed small lights seemingly attached to each of her classmates' clothes. Nieza began to approach and search for the source of the small lights on one of her frozen friends.
It turned out the source of the small lights came from a talisman from the Lumina organization. Nieza could only wonder how a talisman that lacked any device could emit light when Konet Sveta arrived.
"CRAK!"
Nieza heard something snap. The sound came from the back right corner of classroom 3-D. It was still too dark. Nieza couldn't see what was happening there.
Suddenly, a light appeared from behind the window. It was like moonlight, its brightness neither dazzling nor dim. Nieza was shocked when she finally saw the source of the sound. A shirtless man in jeans was strangling one of the students who was frozen at a table in the back right corner of classroom 3-D.
"CRAK!"
The sound rang out again. With such a powerful chokehold, a normal human would surely die. The man began to lift his victim by gripping his neck tightly with his right hand.
"...stop!" Nieza shouted, disgusted by the man's behavior, who was torturing someone who was so stiff.
The man with long hair looked at Nieza. His eyes were red and bright. His teeth were like the fangs of a carnivorous animal, used to tear apart its prey. Nieza could see dried blood on his teeth. It seemed to have come from another victim.
"...Nieza...Lezny..." the man said hoarsely. Nieza could see his bare feet. He looked like a zombie, but he lacked proper clothing, like a homeless person.
Suddenly, the man let out a loud scream. His scream seemed to carry throughout the school. After he finished shouting, he immediately ran and pounced on Nieza.
Nieza calmly dug her finger into the floor. With the help of her magic, her finger easily penetrated the floor. After determining how large a chunk of floor she would move, she quickly lifted the chunk of floor and pushed it, pinning the zombie that was about to pounce on her against the classroom wall.

The moment was perfect. The zombie's entire body, except for its right hand, was crushed between the classroom wall and the chunk of floor Nieza had lifted. The zombie's right hand nearly hit Nieza. Black blood began to flow from the zombie's body. He slowly disappeared into black sand.

She quickly slammed the large blue fireball into the group of zombies.

Nieza's blue fireball exploded, destroying all the tables, chairs, and windows in Class 3-D. Most of the zombies surrounding Nieza were thrown out of Class 3-D and burned by Nieza's blue flames. Some were immediately melted by Nieza's flames. Their burning bodies quickly decomposed into black sand.
The floors, walls, and ceilings of Class 3-D were blackened by Nieza's flames. The chalkboards in Class 3-D were completely burned. Nieza's blue flames scattered across various objects in Class 3-D.
Despite all the damage, there were no injuries to any of the students in Class 3-D who lay frozen. All of them lay there stiff, as all the tables and chairs supporting their bodies were completely incinerated by Nieza's flames. Suddenly, from the front of Class 3-D, loud footsteps were heard. They sounded like the footsteps of an elephant. It seemed like a zombie weighing over half a ton was coming from the class next to Class 3-D.
Nieza began to prepare himself. The atmosphere grew quiet. There was no sound or vibration.

A figure in a black coat and trousers came smashing through the wall separating Classes 3-C and 3-D. The man, 2.5 meters tall and with a body that was far more muscular than an ordinary human, gave off a powerful and terrifying impression. His coat and clothes covered everything except his face and palms. His skin was thick like a rhinoceros'. His face resembled that of a bald man, with his left eye stitched shut and his right eye red and large. His mouth was wider than a normal human's, and his teeth were bared like those of the zombies that had attacked Nieza earlier.
The giant zombie immediately roared at Nieza, as if threatening her. Nieza, who was a little panicked, immediately prepared her blue fireball to destroy the monster in front of her.
The giant zombie immediately pointed its right hand at Nieza. His fingers began to lengthen and creep towards Nieza's body. Startled by such a sudden attack, the giant zombie's elongated fingers managed to completely bind Nieza. The blue fireball previously formed by Nieza disappeared.

Nieza's entire movement was locked. She felt bound and suffocated by the strong ties of the giant zombie's fingers. The giant zombie walked quickly towards Nieza. Each step caused vibrations strong enough to shake an entire classroom.
Nieza realized that if this giant zombie got closer, he wouldn't hesitate to beat it to death.

Nieza shouted in his heart.
"Kira..." Nieza said slowly.
"KIRA RAINHARDDD! WHERE ARE YOU STUPID???!!!" shouted Nieza panicked.
Suddenly, the sound of a sword slashing could be heard from the entrance of Class 3-D. A large, chainsaw-sized blade shot out and stabbed the giant zombie that had bound Nieza. The force of the blade was so powerful that it pushed the giant zombie's body from its original position, almost out of Class 3-D. The stab of the large knife managed to untie the giant zombie's fingers that had bound Nieza. Nieza fell slowly and tried to regain her composure.
With quick reflexes, the giant zombie extended all of its fingers to brace itself to prevent it from being thrown out of Class 3-D. All of its extended fingers clung to anything to withstand the force of the large knife.
The giant zombie was very close to the edge of Class 3-D, where the dividing wall had been destroyed. It was about 30 centimeters away. One strong push could send it flying out of Class 3-D.
Filled with rage and enduring the pain of the stab, the giant zombie searched for the person who had dared to stab it. It watched from the entrance of Class 3-D.
The giant zombie saw a man in a fur jacket and blue jeans running toward him. The young man quickly jumped and delivered a flying kick directly to the hilt of a large knife stuck in the giant zombie's stomach. It was Kira.
"HAH!"
Kira's powerful kick managed to push the hilt of his large knife through the giant zombie's body. The giant zombie roared in pain. All the fingers holding him up gave out. He fell from the third floor onto the Neopjevan schoolyard.
The atmosphere in Class 3-D returned to silence after the commotion. Kira, awake, immediately ran towards his partner, Nieza.
"Nieza, are you okay?" Kira asked worriedly.
"You're late! You're annoying!" replied Nieza in annoyance while slapping Kira lightly on the shoulder.
"Eh, ouch! Sorry! On my way from the roof to here, dozens of zombies came to bother me." said Kira holding back Nieza's blows.
"Oh...I see." Nieza said quietly. Her slow blows stopped. Her face, which previously looked scared, calmed down after seeing Kira.
"You hurt? No worries. I'll heal you." Kira said quietly.
"N-no need! I'm fine! Thank you!" said Nieza hastily as she stood up and turned her back to Kira.
"...it looks like you have new equipment..." said Nieza nervously while looking at Kira's two feet which were wearing black boots with white feathers stuck to the mouth of the boots.
"Oh? You noticed, huh? These are Valkyrie Boots. Aigis's second-tier equipment. They increase the user's speed and kicking power. Quite effective, I think."
"Huh! If that were all, I would have gotten better ones!" Nieza said sullenly.
"Yes, I believe Nieza can get them."
"Again… you and your sweet words…" Nieza said sarcastically.
"What?"
"Lord Kira. The Avenger-level monster is still alive. He's in southeast of us. More precisely, on the school field," Aigis reminded him.
"…is he still alive? This giant zombie seems formidable," Kira said, spreading the red flames of his power throughout his body. Kira immediately grasped his two Valiant Blades, which had suddenly appeared near his hands.

Kira and Nieza slowly walked toward the large hole in the 3-D classroom to see the giant zombie on the Neopjevan school sports field.
The giant zombie came into view. It was running, enduring the pain in its stomach, toward the Neopjevan school gate.
"It's escaped! Let's chase it!" Kira said as he jumped out.
Nieza could only watch silently as her partner jumped from a height of over 100 meters above the ground and landed smoothly. It seemed her Valhalla Boots were effective after all.
Seeing Kira running after her at high speed brought Nieza to her senses. Nieza immediately used her levitation ability and glided toward the giant zombie, readying her blue fireball magic.
"Lord Kira, Code: Doomsday will end in two minutes!" Aigis reminded her.
"Two minutes, you said?!" Kira said in shock.
While chasing the giant zombie, Nieza saw several zombies from inside the first floor of Neopjevan school carrying the remaining zombie corpses and running out of the school.
"Kira! I see several other zombies running out of the school!" Nieza shouted.
"So that's their strategy, huh! Then I'll bet on this final attack!" Kira said, throwing one of his Valiant Blades at the giant zombie. His swift throw approached the sprinting giant zombie.
"Code: Doomsday is over, Lord Kira," Aigis said.
Slowly, the dark sky over Neopjevan School brightened. The figure of the giant running zombie became the figure of a tall man. The Valiant Blade Kira threw disappeared like a flame extinguishing.
Nieza had to land abruptly after her levitation ability slowly faded.
Everything returned to normal. There were no zombies or damage from the battle. All that could be heard were the panicked screams of some of the school's residents who saw several Neopjevan students suffering from lifeless syndrome.
Kira, who had been chasing the man, was forced to stop chasing him after he lost sight of him. He had disappeared without a trace.
