Kamen Rider Gavv moved with a speed born of urgent purpose, the memory of Alya's muffled cries spurring him onward. He spotted Ladybug first, suspended within a shimmering golden sphere, the Pharaoh's insidious magic slowing her movements. Gavv slashed his blade through the bubble.
CRACK!
The sphere shattered, showering golden motes. Ladybug tumbled free, regaining her balance with practiced grace.
"Gavv! You came!" she exclaimed, relief clear in her voice. "The Pharaoh's going to sacrifice a young girl, Alya! We have to stop him!"
Her words, sharp with urgency, tightened something in Gavv's chest. Just then, Cat Noir landed beside them, a grin returning to his face.
"Looks like I just made it for the purr-fect timing," Cat Noir quipped, his eyes sparkling.
The trio immediately raced out of the Louvre, a coordinated blur of red, black, and candy-colored armor, launching themselves across the rooftops of Paris. They moved as one, a silent promise of intervention hanging in the crisp morning air.
Kamen Rider Gavv, Ladybug, and Cat Noir landed softly on the rooftops overlooking the Louvre plaza. Gavv observed the scene below: the Pharaoh stood amidst his circle of mummies, and Alya, still a captive, was held tight. Ladybug extended her yo-yo, its screen flickered to life, showing Alya's livestream.
"Wait, the goddess with the black spots on this papyrus, who is she?" Alya's voice crackled through the comms, clear and surprisingly steady, considering her predicament.
The Pharaoh's voice boomed, resonating with ancient fury.
"Ladybug, my sworn enemy! You stopped me five thousand years ago, but you will not prevent Nefertiti's return this time."
Alya's eyes widened on the screen.
"Five thousand years ago? Ladybug existed five thousand years ago?"
Ladybug and Cat Noir exchanged a surprised glance. Cat Noir's ears flattened slightly.
"My Lady, you don't look a day over three thousand," he quipped, a forced lightness in his tone.
"This is why I'm wiser," Ladybug retorted, though a flicker of genuine surprise touched her voice.
Gavv listened, finding the claim unbelievable. He guessed the title "Ladybug" must have been passed down through generations.
The Pharaoh began his ritual, his voice booming across the plaza. He called upon Ra, the sun god, offering a "pure soul" for the return of Nefertiti. As he spoke, the Louvre pyramid lit up, shooting a dark beam into the sky that began to spread an ominous shadow. The mummies chanted "Awaken, Nefertiti" in a low, unified tone while carrying Alya toward the pyramid. Alya, terrified, cried out for Ladybug. Ladybug, watching from the rooftops, declared they had to save Alya before the ritual completed, or she would be lost forever.
"What's the plan, My Lady?" Cat Noir asked.
Ladybug quickly outlined her strategy.
"You and Gavv keep the mummies busy," Ladybug instructed. "I'll handle the Pharaoh."
Cat Noir offered his own tactical insight.
"Why do we take care of the freaks, and you sneak around the back?"
Ladybug nodded, a determined glint in her eyes.
"I can capture the akuma, and you two are the bravest for the frontline fight." She winked, then swung away on her yo-yo, a streak of red against the darkening sky.
Cat Noir turned to Gavv, a small, wry smile touching his lips.
"She doesn't truly believe that, but I'll pretend she does."
He extended a fist.
"Ready, partner?"
Gavv met his gaze, a firm nod his only response. They had to save Alya.
Kamen Rider Gavv and Cat Noir burst onto the plaza's edge, their arrival like a brightly colored signal flare. Alya, still confined within the Pharaoh's grasp, gasped at the sight of them, a hopeful sound carrying across the square. The Pharaoh's head snapped up, his gaze narrowing. He wasted no time.
"Mummies! Attack them!" he roared, his voice echoing with ancient authority.
A horde of mummies, animated by dark magic, shambled forward. Cat Noir moved with acrobatic grace, his staff a blur, deflecting the slow, grasping attacks. Gavv met them head-on, his Gavvgablade a candy-colored streak of destruction. He cut through the mummies with precision, each strike shattering them into clouds of dust. He led them away from the center of the plaza, drawing their attention. The Pharaoh, however, quickly recognized the feint. His focus shifted.
Ladybug swung in, a red and black arc against the gray stone of the Louvre. She snatched Alya from the Pharaoh's grasp in one fluid motion, landing them both on a nearby rooftop.
"Gotcha!" Ladybug exclaimed, a small, tight smile on her face.
"Ladybug, you saved me!" Alya cried, already holding her phone up, the camera lens pointed at the Pharaoh. "But the akuma! It's in his pendant, around his neck!"
"I know," Ladybug replied, catching her breath. "But it's not over yet."
Alya's screams pierced the air, sharp and desperate. The Pharaoh had moved with terrifying speed, appearing behind Ladybug. He struck her, sending her tumbling off the rooftop. Ladybug managed to snag the edge with her yo-yo, swinging herself back to safety, landing lightly on the ground below. She caught Alya's phone mid-air as it fell. The Pharaoh then grabbed Alya again, his grip tight, and with a terrible command, he hurled her toward the rising beam of light.
"Crush her!" he bellowed.
The mummies, ignoring Cat Noir and Gavv for a moment, turned their attention to Ladybug. They swarmed her, their dusty forms closing in. Gavv watched, a cold dread seizing him as Alya was carried upward, helpless, toward the ominous circle of darkness above the pyramid. His hand tightened on his Gavvgablade, ready to cut through the mummies. He would reach Alya. He had to.
"No, Kamen Rider, wait!" Cat Noir yelled, his voice strained as he parried a mummy's attack. "They are innocent people!"
Gavv hesitated, his blade hovering, a conflict warring within him. He saw the empty eyes of the mummies, the human forms trapped beneath the magic, but he also saw Alya, rising further and further into the sky.
"Ladybug, what is the plan?" Gavv asked, his voice sharp with urgency.
He moved to intercept the closest mummies, a blur of blue and magenta armor. He hoped she had something, anything, that could save Alya.
"Follow me!" Ladybug called, already sprinting toward a passing tour bus. She leaped onto its roof with fluid grace. Gavv and Cat Noir followed, their movements just as precise.
The mummies, driven by the Pharaoh's will, swarmed onto the bus after her, their papyrus wrappings rustling against the metal. Ladybug jumped off the far side of the bus. Cat Noir and Gavv, waiting by the side, used their combined strength. They tipped the vehicle onto its side with a resounding CRASH!, effectively trapping the mummies inside. The noise was surprisingly muted, swallowed by the growing darkness above.
"We have to save Alya before she reaches the circle of darkness!" Ladybug exclaimed, her voice tight with concern as she looked up at the sky.
The Pharaoh, enraged by their tactic, swooped down, his golden armor gleaming ominously.
"You fools! I will finish you myself and bring Nefertiti back!" he bellowed, his voice laced with ancient fury.
"The akuma is in his pendant!" Ladybug shouted, pointing to the glowing amulet around his neck. "That's his weak spot!"
The three heroes charged, a unified front against the ancient evil.
The Pharaoh, cloaked in an aura of escalating power, intensified his assault. He stretched out his arms.
"Anubis, bring me mummies!" he bellowed.
New golden warriors shimmered into existence, appearing from swirling sands at his feet. They lunged toward the heroes. Energy beams erupted from the Pharaoh's hands, forcing Ladybug and Cat Noir to duck and weave frantically.
"Sekhmet, give me your strength!" he roared, his mask shifting to the snarling visage of a lioness goddess.
His form expanded slightly, muscles rippling under the golden armor. He moved with sudden, brutal speed, swiping Cat Noir and Ladybug aside as if they were bothersome insects. Cat Noir hit the ground hard, his staff clattering. Ladybug slammed into a pillar, groaning.
The Pharaoh then clapped his hands together with a resounding CRACK!
CRACKLE
A powerful sonic wave, invisible yet potent, exploded outward. It struck Kamen Rider Gavv head-on. The translucent gummy armor that comprised Gavv's suit fractured, fine cracks spreading across the magenta and blue surface. A sickening POP echoed in Jazik's ears as sections of the armor burst granularly, dissipating the force, but leaving raw pain. He skidded back several meters, his feet dragging furrows in the pavement. A faint tendril of smoke curled from his left shoulder pauldron, the energy dispersal leaving its mark.
"He's strong," Gavv grunted, struggling to maintain his footing.
The force of the attack had been immense, more potent than anything he had faced from the Magia. He had absorbed the direct impact, but the residual vibrations still rattled his core. Ladybug and Cat Noir looked at him with concern. They quickly regained their footing.
"Are you alright, Kamen Rider?" Ladybug asked, her voice tight with worry.
Gavv merely nodded, already assessing the Pharaoh's movements. His armor would regenerate, but it would take time and energy he could not spare. The Pharaoh advanced, his eyes burning with renewed fury. He looked unstoppable, a force of ancient power unleashed upon modern Paris. Alya was still rising, a silent accusation against their stalled efforts.
Just then, a small, fluffy Marshmallow Gochizo appeared before him. Its face was soft and round.
"Eat marshmallow!" it called out, its tiny voice almost lost in the din.
Gavv caught it, a determined look in his eyes.
"Let's try you out!" he shouted, bringing the Gochizo to his Gavv organ.
The Gavv organ opened, its blue lips parting to reveal rows of blocky white teeth. Gavv carefully slotted the Gochizo into its mouth. The organ began to chew with a soft, squishing sound.
[MARSHMALLOW]
[EAT MARSHMALLOW! EAT MARSHMALLOW!]
The sound was softer, bouncier than before, a stark contrast to the previous mechanical roars. Gavv was suddenly enveloped in a wave of soft, white, pillowy energy. The energy hardened not into sharp plates, but into thick, rounded, marshmallow-like armor. His new form, Fuwamallow, was bulky and defensive, a stark white against the dark backdrop of the Louvre. The armor resembled stacked, cushioned blocks. His helmet was smooth and rounded with small, soft nubs on top. His arms and legs were covered in large, cylindrical pads, giving him a plush, almost toy-like appearance. Despite the soft look, the armor seemed incredibly dense and shock-absorbent.
[FUWAMALLOW!]
[FUWA! FUWA!]
The transformation completed. Gavv now stood as a sturdy, defensive juggernaut, ready to absorb the Pharaoh's next attack.
