Chapter 1 - There's nothing here.

He pointed to his heart with his index finger and said, "There's nothing here."

...

On a typically chilly morning, Tasha woke up early and went through his daily routine of showering, eating breakfast, and then heading to work, his face devoid of any expressions that hinted at life.

"Good morning, Mr. Tasha."

"Good morning, Mr. Tasha."

"Mr. Tasha, did you hear what happened yesterday...?"

Tasha responded to each of them with a smile on his face, but as soon as he turned away, he reverted to his previous expression.

Tasha is the manager of a successful real estate company and is friendly with all his employees, which has earned him excellent rapport with them.

But what was he missing? He couldn't understand.

'What am I missing?' Tasha wondered.

If it was money, he had plenty.

If it was a body, he was in great physical shape.

If it was because of isolation, he interacted with a lot of people.

If it was his goals, Tasha was in control and managing his life well.

If it was the lack of meaning in his life after achieving his goals, then could it be that he needed a new meaning to keep going?

An emotional meaning, one that was connected to others.

'Is it about my feelings? Can love fill my heart? I don't understand.' Tasha wondered again to himself.

There was no sadness or joy in Tasha's heart. Years had passed without him feeling anything. He had achieved all his external goals of name, wealth, and power, but he had neglected his inner self. His emotions were like ice.

Tasha's questions kept repeating themselves endlessly. He could no longer understand his inner self. He didn't know if it was possible to feel emotion again. He saw himself as an empty shell.

Tasha finished his usual tasks in his office and it was time to go home. On his way, he decided for the first time to take a different street, as Tasha's house was close to his company, he used to walk the same route every day.

Suddenly, Tasha stopped. He saw in front of him a girl with silky chestnut hair and eyes that reflected the beautiful sunset in a beautiful honey color. Tasha had interacted with women before, but he didn't care much about having a relationship or getting married.

But now, at the age of thirty-five, Tasha felt a strong attraction to a woman. What caught his attention were her calm features and her honey-colored eyes that reflected wisdom.

After a few moments of contemplating the strange scene before him, Tasha moved without saying a word. He was shocked by his reaction. He didn't understand what was happening or how it happened, but he was sure he felt curiosity after so many years.

...

The next day, Tasha woke up and went about his usual routine, but something was different. His reflection in the mirror showed a genuine smile.

What happened yesterday was like a dream or a surprise.

He felt like he had gone back to his childhood, when he was curious about this strange world, before he got used to it.

He didn't feel sexually attracted to her, but rather spiritually, a message from one heart to another.

Tasha went to the office as usual, but his feeling was different from the usual coldness. He was eager to finish his work. The employees noticed that Mr. Tasha was different.

"Charlie, don't you think Mr. Tasha is different today?"

"Yes, you're right Mary, it seems like he's, ummmm, I can't find the right word."

"'Clear,' that's what I feel, Charlie. Mr. Tasha seems 'clear,' like the cold and mysterious feeling that usually shows up despite his smile and listening to us, but today he seems clearly excited and happy."

"Yes, 'clear' is the word, you're right, I see that Mr. Tasha is happy today."

...

After finishing work, Tasha headed down the same street and found the girl standing there again, a girl who looked like she was in her late twenties.

"What are you doing?" Tasha felt curious for the first time in years. Without any greetings, Tasha asked without suppressing his curiosity.

"I was waiting for you, Tasha." The girl spoke in a sweet voice, like a mother's lullaby to her child.

Tasha looked at her in shock, all the questions in his mind melted away with her voice, but he suppressed the feeling of security and relaxation that he felt.

"How do you know my name?" Tasha asked her, his hesitation evident on his face.

"Isn't that obvious, Tasha? I'm in your dream?" Tasha was shocked as her voice changed in the second sentence from a sweet voice to a masculine voice that sounded like Tasha's own.

"Ahhhh." Tasha woke up from his dream to the sound of the alarm clock, but he was sweating profusely.

"Hahaha, what a strange dream. It's like I'm alive again." Tasha spoke after about 5 minutes, but his expression was different from usual. He was happy.

"I can't believe I was excited in my dream. I thought I had become cold and lost the meaning of my life, but this is like a new birth."

After a moment of silence, Tasha looked at his chest with a clear smile.

He pointed to his heart with his index finger and said, "Is there really nothing here?".
