Chapter 35 - Big is Good, Big is Justice

Rias pulled the topic back on track, "Let's talk about the Jujutsu sorcerers again."

"If the Jujutsu higher-ups aren't willing to apologize, or plan to just gloss over it, what are you going to do?"

"Then I'll solve the problem with my fists."

Tatsuma clenched his fist to emphasize. "I didn't train just to swallow my anger."

Rias said, "That's true, but your current identity is a Devil of the Gremory clan. If you directly resort to violence, it might cause diplomatic issues."

Tatsuma lightly said, "It's fine, among the Jujutsu sorcerers, only Gojo has some strength. If they dare to protest, I'll just beat them back."

Rias explained, "Diplomatic issues don't just refer to the Jujutsu sorcerers. Although everyone operates separately on the surface, if a real problem arises, other human factions won't stand idly by."

"Especially the church, which is hostile towards Devils. They will use this as an excuse to take the initiative and send people to Kuoh Town to cause trouble."

"That sounds like a good thing." Tatsuma's eyes lit up, feeling a bit tempted.

After more than a month of development, his physical condition among High-Class Devils was already close to the middle tier. Coupled with traits like Immortality and many others, Tatsuma's strength in his normal state was comparable to an Ultimate-Class Devil.

If he activated the Boosted Gear and entered Balance Breaker state, he could even contend with Satan-class powerhouses.

With this level of strength, although he couldn't exactly walk freely in this world, he could still be a bit more assertive in this small corner of Kuoh Town.

"Don't mess around."

Noticing that Tatsuma's expression was a bit off, Rias quickly spoke up.

"I know you're very strong, but there are also many powerhouses among humans. If you cause too much conflict, it's very likely to trigger a series of chain reactions."

"As for the Jujutsu side, Sona and I will help apply pressure to make them lower their heads and apologize."

"Then it depends on their attitude."

As long as the Jujutsu higher-ups show the proper attitude and offer sufficient compensation, Tatsuma naturally wouldn't stir up trouble for no reason and go looking for their problems.

"Oh, right, Rias."

"Besides the Jujutsu matter, I also need your help with something else."

"What is it?"

"Help me find three people."

Tatsuma took out three portraits and handed them over.

Rias lowered her head and examined them, asking thoughtfully, "Enemies?"

Tatsuma nodded. "Mm, they were accomplices of the Cursed Spirit that attacked me this time."

The Jujutsu higher-ups were targeting Yuji. Tatsuma could let them off depending on their attitude.

But for these Cursed Spirits who set a trap targeting him, his reaction would always be just one.

He said, "I plan to deal with them, so they don't keep causing me trouble."

"No problem."

Rias didn't try to persuade him this time.

If the opponents were humans, she would need to consider diplomatic issues. But for Cursed Spirits, she didn't need to consider that much.

After asking Tatsuma for some details and further understanding the situation, Rias put the portraits away, preparing to contact her clan for help later.

After that, Rias seemed to remember something and changed the topic, asking, "Tatsuma, do you have time now?"

Tatsuma nodded. "Yes, what's up?"

"Cough, I have something I want to discuss with you."

Rias glanced around, seeing that Koneko and the others weren't paying attention, so she pulled Tatsuma to a corner and spoke softly, "Look, we're officially dating now, shouldn't we deepen our connection?"

Tatsuma asked, "Then... we can train together in the morning?"

Rias said, "Don't joke around at a time like this."

"Okay, I also think that's not very reliable."

Tatsuma thought for a moment and said, "I'll make some time on the weekend, how about we go out on a date together?"

"That's not bad."

Rias's eyes lit up, and she felt relieved.

Thankfully, Tatsuma wasn't completely clueless.

However, compared to dating, Rias had another goal she wanted to achieve.

She asked, "Tatsuma, can I move into your house?"

"Sure."

"I know this suggestion is a bit sudden... You agreed?!"

Tatsuma replied, "Yeah, is there anything strange about that? My girlfriend is willing to move in and live together. I couldn't be happier, so naturally I wouldn't refuse."

"Then it's settled."

Rias's lips curved upwards, a happy smile on her face.

But just then, a calm voice suddenly sounded from behind them.

"Senpai, can I move into your place too?"

"Huh? Koneko, when did you get here?" Rias was startled.

"I arrived when President and senpai were discussing your date." Koneko's cat ears on top of her head twitched twice as she replied expressionlessly.

Thanks to Tatsuma's help, her Senjutsu skills had greatly improved recently, and she had mastered the technique of concealing her presence. It was precisely this technique that allowed her to approach Rias silently, without being detected by her.

"Senpai, can I move into your place too?" Koneko asked again.

Tatsuma nodded. "You can, but I only have two rooms at home."

"It's fine, I can sleep in the same room as you." Rias casually hugged Tatsuma's right arm and offered a solution.

"Since we're boyfriend and girlfriend, it's perfectly normal to sleep in the same room. As for Koneko, let her sleep in the other room."

Koneko, rarely defiant, hugged Tatsuma's left arm and replied, "I don't want to."

"I want to sleep in the same room as senpai too."

Rias asked, "...Tatsuma, who do you choose?"

Tatsuma said, "I choose to get a bigger bed."

Rias: ?

Rias pressed, "If you absolutely have to choose one?"

Tatsuma said, "Then I choose Rias."

Big is good, big is justice!

Looking at Koneko, whose eyes suddenly widened, her face showing an expression of disbelief, Tatsuma pulled his arm from the 'airport', patted her head, and comforted her, "Don't be sad, your future is bright. I believe in your potential."

Koneko: (*~︿~)

Rias: (^ω^)
