Chapter 3 - Chapter 3. Beibei and Tang Ya II

"It isn't very polite to ask this right after we just met, is it?"

Wang Lin spoke at this moment.

He frowned as he looked at Tang Ya; who asks for someone's martial soul attributes immediately upon meeting?

"We were abrupt!"

Beibei reacted to the words and spoke apologetically.

Tang Ya, on the other hand, although feeling somewhat apologetic after hearing Wang Lin's words, still looked at Wang Lin with dissatisfaction.

They had followed because they saw these two youths entering the Star Dou Forest alone and were afraid something might happen to them.

"May I ask for the names of the two little brothers?"

Noticing Tang Ya's expression, Beibei stepped sideways to block her from view and asked.

"Wang Lin."

Wang Lin spoke indifferently.

He was not interested in Beibei and Tang Ya.

His original plan never included the step of joining the Tang Sect or Shrek Academy.

"My name is Huo Yuhao."

Huo Yuhao was much more enthusiastic than Wang Lin; he had a great interest in Shrek Academy, which he had heard about since childhood.

"You are here to hunt souls, right? We are also here to hunt souls. Shall we go together?"

Beibei nodded and asked.

As his voice fell, three soul rings—two yellow and one purple—rose from the soles of Beibei's feet.

Tang Ya beside him did not show weakness and summoned two yellow soul rings.

The soul rings moved rhythmically around Tang Ya's body.

Tang Ya gave Wang Lin a provocative look and said: "We came to the Star Dou Forest this time for my third soul ring."

Crackle!

Suddenly, a spark of blue electric arc danced on Beibei's body, and a long blue vine also appeared on Tang Ya.

Soul Elder!

Wang Lin felt a headache watching Beibei and Tang Ya's actions.

Looking at this situation, they would have to travel together, otherwise, these two would probably not let it go.

After all, with a two-day difference, these two still managed to catch up.

Thinking of this, he calmly looked up at the sky.

Huo Yuhao beside him tugged at Wang Lin's sleeve and whispered.

"Brother Lin, how about we join..."

"Let's go together!"

Wang Lin looked at Huo Yuhao beside him and spoke.

He didn't know why Huo Yuhao seemed to have a good impression of Beibei and Tang Ya despite just meeting them.

So, encountering Beibei and Tang Ya is indeed the destiny of the Child of Destiny!?

I just don't know if this destiny is Huo Yuhao's original destiny or the modified destiny.

"Since we are together, surely we can learn about your martial souls now, right?"

Hearing this, Tang Ya hurriedly spoke up.

"Fine. Martial Soul: Brain. I need mental-type soul beasts."

As Wang Lin spoke, a yellow soul ring slowly rose from beneath his feet.

"My martial soul is the Spirit Eyes, a mutated martial soul, mental attribute."

Huo Yuhao was more honest.

"Two Body Martial Souls!?"

Beibei suddenly realized something and hurriedly asked: "Do you two little brothers belong to a sect?"

"No."

Wang Lin said.

Huo Yuhao followed suit and shook his head.

Although Wang Lin wanted to go to the Body Sect, up until now, it was only a thought.

"That's great!"

Tang Ya's eyes lit up.

Beibei also nodded and asked: "Two little brothers, do you have any plans after hunting souls!?"

Huo Yuhao was stunned by the question.

Previously, he only thought about obtaining a soul ring to become a Soul Master; now he really didn't know what to do.

Seeing the confusion in his eyes, Tang Ya secretly rejoiced in her heart and winked at Beibei beside her.

Beibei nodded to her and was just about to speak when an abrupt voice suddenly rang out.

"I plan to take Yuhao to the Body Sect!"

Tang Ya was instantly astonished, and Beibei was also stunned.

Huo Yuhao beside them showed a confused expression.

Body Sect? What Body Sect!?

"You know of the Body Sect?"

Beibei noticed the expression on Huo Yuhao's face and asked.

Wang Lin nodded, but Huo Yuhao shook his head blankly.

"Although the Body Sect is indeed suitable for you, the Body Sect is far away in the Heavenly Soul Empire and has always been reclusive. Why not join my Tang Sect?"

Seeing this, Beibei spoke up.

Tang Ya beside him hurriedly nodded in agreement.

Hearing the words "Tang Sect".

Wang Lin frowned slightly.

Huo Yuhao's face showed a look of yearning; he hadn't heard of the Body Sect, but he had heard of the Tang Sect!

"Let us consider it first. Can we wait until after the soul hunt to discuss this matter?"

Wang Lin interrupted what Beibei and Tang Ya were about to say.

If he didn't stop them, Beibei and Tang Ya would definitely start their swindling.

Although Wang Lin had only read the first part of the original Peerless Tang Sect, he had a friend who wrote Douluo fanfiction.

He still remembered that his friend's novel was called Peerless Tang Sect: The Sun.

Unfortunately, while his friend was quite handsome, the book he wrote wasn't that great. [note: Broo thats your novel]

It was also because of this that his handsome author friend would often come to him to complain about the content of the original work.

There was one sentence he remembered quite deeply.

Huo Yuhao's tragic life did not begin at birth, but from the moment he met Beibei and Tang Ya and was swindled into the Tang Sect.

Leaving aside Beibei, Tang Ya is truly hopeless.

Her own talent isn't good, and she didn't study soul tools. In three or four years at Shrek Academy, she only recruited one member, Beibei, and it's highly likely Beibei threw himself at her.

Later, this fool felt her cultivation couldn't keep up and wanted to rebuild the Tang Sect. instead of establishing the Tang Sect in Shrek City, where genius students are everywhere, to recruit members...

She chose to drop out of school and ran back to Heavenly Soul City alone. Isn't this purely being brain-sick?

After spending a few days together, although Wang Lin had designs on Huo Yuhao, his impression of Huo Yuhao was actually quite good.

So since it was a tragedy, Wang Lin naturally wanted to prevent it.

No one wants to watch a very decent young lad turn into a tragedy.

Moreover, Wang Lin knew the characteristics of Body Martial Souls: the more important the body organ where the martial soul awakens, the stronger the martial soul talent.

Take Huo Yuhao for example.

With the Spirit Eyes as his martial soul, although his innate soul power was very low, his potential was very strong.

But look at how Shrek Academy treated Huo Yuhao in the original work.

If not for the martial soul fusion skill with Wang Dong, Huo Yuhao, as a champion, wouldn't have even secured the treatment of a Core Disciple.

One must know that the higher-ups of Shrek Academy knew that Body Martial Souls could undergo a second awakening, but their knowledge was limited to just knowing it existed.

It was evident they had no method for cultivating Body Martial Souls at all; if they did, they couldn't possibly have treated Huo Yuhao that way.

So what if Shrek Academy is number one on the continent? The Body Sect isn't bad either.

This is like having two top-tier universities placed in front of you.

One has the strongest comprehensive strength, but has no achievements in the major you want to study. The other has slightly weaker comprehensive strength, but its strongest major is the exact one you want to learn.

Anyone who isn't a fool knows how to choose!

Wang Lin had absolutely no reason to go to Shrek Academy, nor did he want to.

He still remembered that Huo Yuhao's self-manipulation began with that Core Disciple treatment.

Furthermore, Wang Lin considered himself a mediocrity and didn't like causing trouble, so whether it was Shrek Academy or the Tang Sect, forget it!

"That's true too!"

Beibei nodded and ultimately did not continue the conversation on the topic of sects.

Tang Ya's look toward Wang Lin became even more dissatisfied.

Wang Lin completely ignored Tang Ya's gaze; he didn't bicker with fools.
