Chapter 18 - The Secret

Before heading into the villa area that afternoon, Zhao Xuan had checked the map outside. From the reunion villa, he could loop around and head back, and since he didn't want to retrace his steps, he decided to finish the loop. It'd only take another ten-odd minutes.

Humming the school anthem under his breath — one of the melodies he knew best — he strolled along the small path. After rounding a bend, he spotted a drink vending machine at an intersection.

His earlier arousal from watching Lin Jingjing and Yan Qing still hadn't completely faded, and seeing bottles of chilled mineral water in the machine, he figured he'd grab one.

After chugging two big mouthfuls, Zhao finally felt his body cool down. In that heated state, he'd been afraid that going back to the villa and seeing beauties like Lu Wenyin or Wan Chujun might make him embarrass himself. As much as he hated Wan, he had to admit she was flawless-looking — no man could deny Wan Chujun's charm.

And if he did make a fool of himself, it'd be a total social death in front of the whole class.

The dumplings and duck snacks from dinner were pretty salty, so Zhao was still thirsty. He finished the bottle and tossed it into a nearby trash bin.

Just as he was about to walk the last few minutes back, he noticed something odd in the woods beside the path — under the dim glow of a streetlamp, there seemed to be a human silhouette.

It was peak reunion season after the gaokao results, so the villa area was actually lively — almost every villa had lights on. During his walk, Zhao had already passed four or five other people strolling. Fortunately, he'd been on a video call with headphones, so no one could see anything weird.

But this person wasn't on the path — they were in the woods.

At first Zhao didn't pay much attention, but after walking a bit farther and glancing back, the figure was still standing in the same spot, unmoving.

Even in the murky light, he was sure it was a person.

Curiosity got the better of him, and he headed over.

Hidden in the thick bushes beside the road was a gravel trail, nearly invisible in the darkness and blocked by foliage.

The person was dressed in white, leaning against a tree.

When Zhao got closer, he saw it was Ye Peiqi.

"Didn't Wan Chujun take her upstairs to rest?" Zhao was puzzled.

All afternoon, Ye had seemed unwell. Seeing her in such a secluded spot made no sense.

But Ye didn't notice Zhao — she was anxiously scanning her surroundings.

Zhao ducked behind a thicker tree to observe. The two trees were close, only about three meters apart, separated by the path. His side was pitch black, but Ye's side was lit by a streetlamp. From the main road, the bushes blocked the view, but from Zhao's hiding spot, he had a clear line of sight.

He noticed she was holding a phone with the screen on. Thinking she was just finding a quiet spot for a long call, Zhao was about to step out, say hi, and head back — until her next move shocked him almost into yelling.

She slowly crouched, set the phone on the grass, and started taking off her clothes.

Ye Peiqi's image in class was, if not pure as snow, at least well-behaved and sensible. Zhao's jaw nearly dropped. He had a gut feeling there was a lot more to her story.

A few seconds later, Zhao smacked his own forehead.

"Damn, I've been a loser for too long." He realized he'd forgotten about his System Character Interface — if it worked at this distance, he could check her stats.

Opening the interface, sure enough, a panel appeared near Ye Peiqi:

[Ye Peiqi – Female

Young Adult

Healthy

Strength 6

Agility 13

Stamina 10

Energy 12

Focus 12

Friendliness –50

Obedience 0]

The stats weren't shocking — Lin Jingjing, with her great figure and workout routine, had only 9 Strength; Ye, being petite and a dancer under 1.6m, having 6 Strength was normal. Ten Stamina was above average for a woman.

But that Friendliness –50…

He'd always believed Ye was the only girl in class who viewed him positively — partly because she, like him, was from out of town, had attended multiple schools, and came from a single-parent family in J Province with modest means. Zhao thought their similar backgrounds might've sparked some mutual understanding.

Now it seemed her "kind" attitude and sweet persona were likely an act.

Even though the summer night was hot, a chill crept up Zhao's spine.

Such a scheming woman!

Ye had stripped down to just a thong — maybe her bust was too small for a bra, so she'd just stuck on nipple covers.

Zhao instinctively pulled out his phone, opened the camera, and zoomed in to start filming.

Her next move reignited the lust he'd just suppressed, and he felt his lower body tighten uncomfortably in his pants.

From a distance, Ye picked up the phone, lay on her side, and spread her legs, apparently filming her pussy.

Zhao instantly pictured what he and Ye (plus Yan Qing) had done earlier.

He was almost certain this seemingly pure dance goddess was, in private, some rich guy's kept plaything.

This spot was clearly chosen for the lighting — the lamplight made it easy to film inside her, but the roadside bushes kept it hidden from passersby.

Zhao had only stumbled upon her while she was standing; now she was lower than the bushes. Unless someone deliberately walked in, this was the perfect public-but-private scene.

Years of dance had made her incredibly flexible — her legs opened past 180°, striking a pose more extreme than a full split, showing her most intimate area to whoever was on the other end of the phone.

And Zhao was recording it all.

After filming for a while, Ye's hand went to her pussy. Zhao expected a masturbation show, but instead she pulled out a vibrator. In the quiet night, with no longer constrained by her body, the vibration amplitude spiked — Zhao could faintly hear its hum.

No wonder she'd acted so strange that afternoon — she'd been playing this game with someone.

After removing the vibrator, Ye collapsed as if drained, legs still in the split, but the toy and phone were now on the ground.

The hum stopped.

Zhao, engrossed in filming, suddenly realized something was off.

Ye hadn't been acting strange all afternoon — just twice, with intense reactions. Meaning it wasn't on the whole time, and batteries couldn't last that long. From her reactions, she hadn't known when it would start vibrating, which was why she'd embarrassed herself in front of classmates.

Now, with no one touching it and her phone still lying there, the vibrator had stopped.

Which meant someone was controlling it — and had been nearby the whole time, including now.

Zhao first thought of a few classmates, but there was no solid evidence. Then one face popped into his mind and wouldn't go away — Luo Changhao.

If that assumption held, everything clicked: Luo's family was wealthy; Ye, though never open about it, was from a poor background — Luo had the money to make her submit. Now that Zhao had some assets himself, he understood money's power over women even more.

That afternoon, Ye's two odd moments both happened when Luo was nearby — once when he visited Zhao's villa to get supplies, the second when Zhao looked up during a dumpling break and saw Luo on the third-floor terrace of the neighboring villa — the closest spot to Zhao's villa.

With his phone almost dead and the hottest footage already captured, Zhao pocketed it but didn't leave. Partly to see what else this "innocent slut" had up her sleeve, partly to avoid tipping her off.

A few minutes later, Ye stood up — and Zhao noticed something trailing behind her. On closer look, it was a rope or chain, one end tied to the tree, the other disappearing into her butt crack.

Ye was leashed to the tree.

Since she'd been facing Zhao's tree the whole time, he'd been careful not to move, but seeing her like a bitch tied there left him stunned. He pressed down too hard on a branch and snapped it.

In the silent night, the vibrator's hum had been faintly audible — the snap of the twig was unmistakable.

Ye, still riding the aftershocks, didn't react.

Zhao let out a slow breath.

Just as he prepared to leave, a man walked into the path, holding something, and headed straight for Ye.

From behind, the guy's build resembled Luo Changhao's. But Luo's physique was fairly average, so Zhao couldn't be 100% sure.

"Woof! Woof!" Ye dropped to her knees and obediently barked like a dog at the man.

"Slut, how did it feel throwing yourself at your classmates this afternoon?"

That confirmed it — the man controlling Ye was Luo Changhao.
