Tazamun entered the car and Alicia came in shortly after. Her face still showing shock of the information that she heard. She hoped Alicia would handle it well and make a good decision.
Alicia fastened her seatbelts and placed her hands on the book on her lap, deep in thought.
Tazamun started the car and began to drive down the road.
"Are you okay?" Tazamun asked, noticing how Alicia seemed restless and drenched in sweat.
"Would you be fine if you were in my shoes?" Alicia asked not turning her head to look at Tazamun.
"Am sorry." Tazamun replied not knowing what to say.
"It's not your fault, you didn't choose me." Alicia replied and the car fell silent.
"Why can't you or Malika take me back home?" Alicia suddenly asked wondering why they had to go to the person named Malik, she already met two vampires,.she was planning on meeting a third, well, not yet.
"Malik practices magic and he will get you there faster." Tazamun replied.
"Is he related to Malika? Am asking cause the names are similar." Alicia asked again as the only difference is the addition of A to Malika.
"There are twins." Tazamun replied.
Alicia didn't ask more questions as she knew when to stop.
Tazamun pulled over in what looked like a bar and parked.
"Shall we." She said to Alicia and Alicia nodded and climbed out of the car the book in hand.
As they approqched the entrance, Alicia saw more beautiful tall ladies wearing see through outfits, was everyone here beautiful? Alicia thought to herself. The moment the security spotted Tazamun they greeted her politely and opened the door.
As Alicia walked in her eyes nearly popped out of there sockets. Handsome, scratch that, extremely handsome male vampires were busy doing things to the female vampire that people would not normally do in public.
Bodies tangled, sensual moans and groans, heat crawled to her cheeks. Her face flushed red instantly.
Her eyes twisted in disgust , then turned to shock. Never on her wildest dreams did she expect to see such a scene in person.
The air was filling with steamy hot romance, sounds of moans and things she could not hear filled the air. As she walked closely behind Tazamun people gave her the same strange looks that the people she met on her way gave her.
The men looked with lustful gazes and the women with suspicious and spiteful gazes.
She couldn't believe vampire where this shameless, how could they do such things in public, the air reeked of Alcohol and smoke, Alicia was finding it hard to breathe fresh air.
Tazamun walked towards the stairs that showed an arrow on which VIP was written and started climbing up the stairs people greeted her as she passed by them and she greeted them back in the same polite way, they completely ignored Alicia.
"What? People don't make love in the human world?" Tazamun asked seeing Alicia's horrified expression.
Did she just call what she saw love making, her definition of love making was different from Alicia's.
"They do but not so publicly." Alicia replied her face still red.
"That's how we do it here." Tazamun replied like it is a normal thing to have sex in public.
The VIP area wasn't as crude as the part of the bar she just saw. This part was classier and much more comfortable, the ladies here looked more classy and sophisticated than the ones downstairs, the men wore gold wrist watches and looked unearthreal, everything about Qasira looked stunning including the people.
As Alicia was busy thinking about what she just saw she bumped into someone and the drink the person was holding spilled on him, the book she was holding fell.
Alicia looked up to apologize but the words got stuck in her throat, the man before her looked like a devil, because she had heard the devil is dangerously handsome. His sharp jawline, thick black hair, pointed nose and cold icy black ice gave him that domeeneering alloof handsome look. He was neither frowning nor smiling, just wore an expressionless look on his face. He was dressed in an all black three piece suit.
Alicia scrambled for her book that had fallen and mumbled an apology before dashing off to catch up with Tazamun.
The man's eyes lingered on the book for a while, and a glint flashed through his eyes and disappeared before anyone could notice. He looked in the direction Alicia went and his lips curved up slightly in a smirk before walking away.
Alicia saw Tazamun taking a seat at the counter of the VIP lounge, she rushed over and took a seat next to her.
"Where were you?" Tazamun asked. Alicia arrived later than she expected.
"I accidentally bumped into someone and spilled his drink on him. But I apologized." Alicia said and assed the apology part quickly.
"Careful around here, vampires are short tempered, especially the females." Tazamun said.
"Even you?" Alicia asked and Tazamun just smiled and did not reply.
"Hey Malik." Tazamun called out and a tall handsome slender man with a striking resemblance to Malika stepped out.
He is beautiful, Alicia thought to herself. He smiled as he walked over to Tazamun with a bright smile and exchanged pleasantries.
As if just noticing her he suddenly turned towards her and then turned back to Tazamun looking a bit surprised.
"That's Alicia, Alicia Malik." Tazamun introduced them.
"Hi." Alicia said smiling lightly at the male vampire.
"She's human." Malik said instead of replying the greeting.
"Can't you say hello at least." Tazamun said looking serious.
"Hey." Malik said looking at Alicia like he was looking at some Alien.
"Malika called and said you were coming along with a human, I thought she was joking."
"Is it that obvious am human?" Alicia asked her hands moving over her fair skin.
"You have no idea." Tazamun replied.
"We need to take her back." Tazamun said.
"Okay, but not here. Follow me." Malik said removing his apron and walking towards the kitchen.
Tazamun and Alicia followed behind him, the kitchen was empty and pots filled with cooking foods were on the stove. The aroma was tantalizing.
Malik walked over to a shelf and brought out something that looked like black powder in a jar.
He walked over to Alicia and started sprinkling it round her feet.
"Please think about it Alicia, you are standing between the world and destruction." Tazamun said and Alicia locked eyes with her before vanishing.
"She's the one right?" Malik asked as Alicia disappeared from sight leaving him and Tazamun alone.
"Yes." Tazamun replied shortly and Malik nodded.
"I'll be on my way." Tazamun said and left. Malik looked at the place that Alicia stood before disappearing and shook his head.

Alicia breathed a sigh of relief as she opened her eyes and found her self back on the library, at the same spot she disappeared from.
Everyone that has just happened felt like a dream. She walked towards her bag with book still with her and went to the librarian's desk.
"Are you okay Alicia? You look like you just ran a marathon." The librarian asked as she saw Alicia looking worn out and tired. And she thought it was due to Alicia reading too much.
"Am fine, just tired." Alicia replied.
"Did you notice anything weird happen?" Alicia asked the librarian.
"No nothing, did something happen?" The librarian replied shaking her head.
"No, just asking. I'll be taking this book." Alicia said pointing towards the blank book.
The librarian just nodded, she trusted Alicia and usually didn't keep track of the books she bo
rrowed. She usually took one at a time.
Alicia took the book and walked towards her room, her thoughts tan wild as she walked.
