Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2 – DEMON PRINCESS INTERFERENCE

The first thing I learned about being illegal in a fantasy world? Chaos finds you fast. Like, really fast.

I barely had time to enjoy my victory over the Corruption Agent glitch—who, by the way, exploded in a pixelated puff of smoke when I paused its deletion flag—before something… bigger showed up.

A shadow fell over the courtyard. Dark wings. Horns. And an expression that screamed I know exactly what you just did, and I hate it.

"Ah, so this is the infamous illegal existence," a smooth, teasing voice said.

I looked up. A girl floated above the castle gates. Red hair glinting like fire, crimson eyes sharp enough to cut glass. She wore a black and red outfit that somehow looked like both armor and pajamas. Definitely not a beginner. Definitely not someone I could hack—at least, not easily.

"Who… who are you?" I asked.

She smirked. "Velzara Noctyss. Demon Princess. And I've been watching you since you arrived. You're… funny. Reckless. And incredibly stupid."

"Thanks?" I said, tilting my head. "I try."

Velzara floated closer, wings folding elegantly behind her. "Funny, yes. Stupid, yes. Dangerous… yes. But I like chaos. Which means… you and I are going to have fun."

I blinked. "Fun?"

"Exactly," she said, eyes glinting. "Let me guess… you hacked the Harem System?"

My smug grin widened. "Guilty as charged."

Velzara gasped dramatically. "You… you actually dared!?"

"Yes. Also, I'm awesome," I said. "Check the Corruption Meter if you don't believe me."

She froze. "…You're serious."

"Yes," I replied, shrugging. "Technically, I'm illegal, unstoppable for ten minutes, and kind of a god now."

Velzara laughed, a sound like bells mixed with sharp knives. "Delicious. I knew I liked you."

I frowned. "Wait… what?"

"Relax, it's a compliment," she said, flipping in the air like it was nothing. "I love seeing rules get broken. But…" She leaned in closer, eyes flashing. "I don't let people mess with my world and live for long."

"Oh, great. First day: summoned, hacked a system, broke the world, met a furious knight, almost got killed by a Correction Agent… and now a demon princess wants to kill me." I rubbed my face. "Perfect start."

Velzara grinned. "Oh, don't worry. I'm not going to kill you. Not yet."

I raised an eyebrow. "Not yet?"

"Yes," she said. "You're… entertaining. But if you ruin my system… or my world… I will delete you. Permanently."

I shrugged again. "Challenge accepted."

She floated down, landing gracefully in front of me. "I can tell you one thing: you're not just hacking the Harem System. You're rewriting reality. That's… bold."

"Thanks," I said. "I like bold. And chaos. And apparently illegal life."

Velzara's eyes glinted mischievously. "Then I think we're going to be very good friends… or very bad enemies. Either way, it'll be fun."

Before I could respond, a notice popped up in my menu.

System Notification:Demon Princess Detected – High Risk

Warning:Possible Harem System Corruption – 5%

I groaned. "Great. Now the Corruption Meter is rising again."

Velzara tilted her head. "Corruption Meter? Oh… that. Cute. Don't worry, it's only a number. But numbers don't scare me, little hacker."

I smirked. "Good. I like girls who aren't scared."

Her laugh echoed through the courtyard. "Then get ready, illegal one. Your life just got a lot more interesting."

Meanwhile, Arcelia was standing behind me, sword still drawn, face red with anger and confusion. "Master… who… who is that?"

"Oh, that's your new friend," I said casually. "Also, your possible future nightmare. But mostly friend."

Arcelia frowned. "She… is a demon. And she's floating above the castle. And she's laughing at you."

"Exactly," I said, nodding. "Welcome to my harem. Things get weird fast here."

Velzara smirked. "Oh, don't worry. I didn't come here just to mess with you. I'm here to see how far you can push the system… and yourself. If you survive, maybe I'll join your little chaos party. Maybe."

"Maybe?" I asked. "Or is that a threat?"

"Both," she said with a wink. Then, with a flap of her wings, she shot into the sky and disappeared.

I rubbed my face. "First day: summoned, hacked a system, made a knight furious, fought a Correction Agent, met a demon princess who wants to kill me but might also join me… Yeah. Totally normal."

Arcelia blinked at me, still holding her sword. "Master… you really are illegal, aren't you?"

I grinned. "Bingo. And let me tell you, being illegal is fun."

Somewhere in the distance, the world flickered again, as if it was laughing at my audacity. I checked the menu. Corruption Meter: 6%

"Great," I muttered. "We're only getting started."
