Chapter 91 - Every Single Day

"Severin, do you still wish to die?"

The air drifted past them like a soft whisper as their eyes held each other's gaze. Severin offered Lynsandra a small smile and reached for her cheek, caressing it gently with his fingertips.

"Yes," he answered under his breath.

Her lips pressed into a thin line, her eyelids narrowing slightly. "Is that so?"

Then, that sucks.

Slowly, she looked away, gazing up at the sky full of stars. For a moment, silence stretched between them until her soft voice broke it.

"Severin," she called quietly, her eyes still on the sky. "Do you remember our time in that place?"

He studied her for a moment before looking away. Narrowing his eyes, the softness in them shone as a faint smile curved his lips.

"Yes," he whispered. "Every single day."
