Chapter 220 - soldiers of darkness

Side sped off at incredible speed, and at the same instant, the Origin began moving the giant cubes toward him with terrifying speed. Dozens, even hundreds, of floating blocks hurtled toward him.

But Side didn't back down. His eyes moved with a speed beyond human comprehension, tracking the trajectory of each cube, every angle, every possibility. His vision was like that of a super-intelligence analyzing the future before it unfolded.

He began dodging attacks one by one, his body gliding through the narrow spaces. The Origin watched him with undisguised astonishment, then smiled slyly and said, "Surprise me even more, Side."

With a single gesture, fifty more cubes appeared, all hurtling toward him at once. Side leaped over one cube, then another, then a third, using the momentum of the movement to overcome each obstacle with astonishing precision. Suddenly, he noticed a subtle flaw in the cubes' movement pattern. His smile widened, and he whispered to himself, "I've got it."

He surged forward. He dodged the first. Then the second. When the third cube lunged at him, it collided directly with him. Origin grinned, thinking he had finally thwarted his opponent.

But the next moment, Side grabbed the cube with his bare hands, spun around, and hurled it at another cube, shattering them both and creating a direct path between himself and Origin. He placed his feet on one of the cubes, then propelled himself forward with tremendous force, hurtling forward at lightning speed. "I've got you!" Side shouted confidently.

But before he could touch him, Origin grinned mockingly. "You thought you'd won?"

Then, in a chillingly calm voice, he added, "We haven't even started yet."

In a swift motion, he delivered a powerful kick to Side chest, sending him flying through the air. Origin then moved all the cubes at once, unleashing a deadly tornado upon Side. Side stood stunned for a moment, regaining his balance in mid-air. He thought to himself, "I didn't expect him to attack me physically… I thought he'd rely solely on the cubes."

He looked around and saw the cubes coming at him from all directions. There was no escape. At the last moment, an idea struck him. He smiled and unleashed his dark energy with force. The Origin was surprised. "What is he trying to do?" he asked.

Around Side, his shadows began to materialize, thicken, and form. Dark soldiers appeared one by one. The Origin said sarcastically, "Does he think he can fight the cubes with dark soldiers? That won't work."

But suddenly, the soldiers began to take on Side own form. Dozens of identical copies, all moving simultaneously. Then Sid released a dense wave of dark energy around him, obscuring his true presence and merging with his copies, completely confusing the Origin's perception.

The Origin paused for a moment, his eyes shining with astonishment. Then, with genuine admiration, he said, "You succeeded, Side… You've confused me."

But his smile returned, more intense than before, and he added: "But... do you think that alone will stop me?"
