Chapter 50 - Chapter 50 I Want This Suit on You

Inside the warehouse building.

Due to the previous intense firefight and car crash.

The first floor was basically just a mess of bodies and furniture debris.

The second floor was slightly better, though it was also a bit messy due to the previous chaos.

Among the five-person team, White walked in front with small, quick steps, providing cover.

The other four advanced cautiously but quickly, holding their guns.

However, perhaps there truly was no defensive force left inside the building, as there were no ambushes on the entire second floor.

It wasn't until the group ascended the stairs to the third floor that two more enemies appeared.

But before these two enemies could even attack, they were immediately shot dead simultaneously by Dun Shan and Samira, who reacted the quickest and raised their guns.

Two shots to the chest, one to the head.

One enemy fell directly to the ground, unconscious, while the other even dropped the grenade he had already pulled the pin from.

A second later, the grenade exploded with a 'boom'.

With such a loud commotion, these two were probably not sleeping very soundly.

It wasn't until the group arrived on the third floor that they discovered that the entire third floor of the warehouse building, apart from the wide hallway leading upstairs and a few small rooms resembling security offices, actually only contained a brightly lit hall occupying eighty percent of the floor's area.

The floor was paved with polished marble, and two massive white circular pillars stood on either side.

Various exquisite and expensive-looking furniture pieces were arranged in small groups.

If not for the severely burned bodies on the floor and the slight damage caused by the previous explosion, it would be more accurate to say that this place was an art gallery filled with artistic flair rather than the lair of a crime lord.

And at this moment, Luca Orange's target for this trip, Kingpin, sat calmly behind a large stone table at the innermost part of the room, seemingly completely unfazed by his subordinates being dead and being forced into a desperate situation.

Even when he saw Luca Orange and his group appear, this unusually burly man even tidied his collar in a proper manner, then spoke first, his voice low and refined.

"Luca Von Or…"

"Bang~"

Before Kingpin could finish his two words, Luca Orange, who had been smiling all the way up the stairs, unexpectedly raised his gun and fired first.

The electromagnetic anesthetic bullet from the Dominator in non-lethal mode was as fast as lightning.

A green electric arc flashed.

The bullet had already flown to Kingpin's face.

However, Luca Orange's unsporting sneak attack did not hit Kingpin, who was still speaking, but instead exploded with a 'bang' less than three meters away from Kingpin.

It was precisely because this bullet, fired at Kingpin's forehead, was intercepted that the group noticed that a nearly transparent bulletproof glass barrier stood in front of Kingpin, who was currently seated behind the marble table.

However, although this shot was stopped by the bulletproof glass and did not hit, Kingpin's originally calm expression, as he sat behind it, also turned ugly.

He never expected that the seemingly unremarkable brat would be so decisive.

If he hadn't taken precautions beforehand...

However, Kingpin's sudden fierce expression did not affect Luca Orange and his group.

Dun Shan even asked Luca Orange without hesitation.

"Young Master, the electromagnetic gun's attack doesn't seem to test the strength of that bulletproof glass. Do we need to try live ammunition?"

As he spoke, Dun Shan and the other two had already raised their gun muzzles, as if they would unleash a volley as soon as Luca Orange gave the order.

To help Kingpin check if his construction team had taken kickbacks during the renovation.

"Enough!"

Kingpin, still sitting motionless, let out a suppressed low roar and slammed his fist onto the marble table in front of him.

With a 'bang', spiderweb-like cracks instantly spread across the mirror-smooth marble tabletop.

This terrifying physical strength made Dun Shan and the others frown slightly.

However, immediately after, Kingpin, seemingly having vented his frustration, regained his calm expression, primly adjusted his wrinkled cuff, and then continued to speak.

"Luca Orange, I presume your coming here at this time is also due to Dragan, that fool's, self-important actions? Since you've already eliminated him, there's no longer any conflict of interest between us."

After saying this, Kingpin, without waiting for Luca Orange to speak, pulled out two documents from under the table and casually tossed them onto the tabletop.

Only then did he continue.

"My people will arrive in 20 minutes. By then, it will be impossible for you and your few men to escape."

"But I'm giving you a chance to reconsider now."

"Here is ten percent of Orange Industries' shares. All the procedures have been taken care of. As long as you sign, these will be yours. Consider this my welcome gift to you. We will have more opportunities for cooperation in the future. The alien remains in Midtown are a big cake, and you alone won't be able to devour it!"

After saying all this, Kingpin remained silent, merely looking at Luca Orange in front of him with a composed demeanor.

As if he was currently in a position of advantage.

Luca Orange, from a distance, looked at the documents on Kingpin's table, a kind smile appearing on his face, and he nodded very readily.

"Alright~ I think that's good~"

"Young Master!" Samira looked at Luca Orange with some anxiety, but he cut her off with a hand gesture.

"However, I want to add one condition." Luca Orange continued to say with a smile.

Kingpin frowned slightly upon hearing this, seemingly expressing his displeasure, but still went along with Luca Orange's words and asked.

"What condition?"

Seeing this, Luca Orange raised his hand and pointed remotely at Kingpin's body, speaking naturally.

"I want the suit you're wearing. Hmm, I want it now!"

At these words, not only Kingpin but even the other three people beside Luca Orange were momentarily stunned.

However, the first to react was still Kingpin.

"Enough!!"

Kingpin let out a furious roar.

He stood up with a 'boom'.

Over two meters tall, coupled with his sturdy physique, he looked like a mountain of flesh.

Combined with his ferocious expression, an intense sense of oppression washed over them.

In Kingpin's eyes, Luca Orange's demand for his suit right now was simply an insult, an attempt to make him willingly step out from behind his protection.

Was he, Kingpin, such an irrational idiot?

Well, actually, Luca Orange's reason for mentioning the suit, while it did have a hint of wanting Kingpin to come out and die, was more because he truly wanted that suit!

In fact, the moment Luca Orange went upstairs and saw Kingpin, he had already noticed the pure white suit on him.

It was emitting a faint white glow!

Unfortunately, Kingpin clearly had no intention of fulfilling Luca Orange's small request.

Seeing this, he lowered his head slightly and pushed up his glasses, the lenses on both sides reflecting dazzling white light.

Then he directly raised the Dominator in his hand.

A 'well, there's no other way' smile appeared on his face~
