Chapter 27 - Chapter 27 Danger is something to consider, not to fear.

With his Advanced Cultivation Talent, his efficiency in absorbing and refining the energy within the beast blood was extremely high.

The beast blood continuously supplied his body with additional energy.

His cultivation speed far exceeded normal.

Several hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Ryan eventually stopped and frowned slightly.

Normally, after cultivating repeatedly for this long, his body should already have been considerably more exhausted.

But now...

"I'm still not that tired."

Ryan carefully examined his condition.

After thinking for a moment, he began cultivating again.

Another cycle passed.

His body still showed no signs of being damaged.

Ryan gradually understood.

Under ordinary circumstances, prolonged cultivation consumed the body's own reserves.

Once those reserves were depleted, forcing further cultivation would begin overdrawing the body's potential and could eventually cause damage.

But beast blood changed the situation.

The energy contained within it replenished much of what cultivation consumed.

As long as Ryan continued absorbing the beast blood properly, his body could withstand far more cultivation cycles than usual.

"So that's how it works."

Ryan's eyes lit up.

Perhaps this wasn't some great secret among experienced Blood Warriors.

But ordinary Blood Warrior Apprentices rarely had access to enough beast blood to discover it personally.

Even powerful families couldn't casually supply unlimited quantities of such resources to every Blood Warrior Apprentice under them.

Ryan looked at the remaining beast blood.

"This amount should be enough for me to cultivate throughout the rest of the trial."

He clenched his fist.

If he continued at this rate, his strength could increase significantly before the trial ended.

He had already entered Blood Warrior Apprentice Peak Stage.

Now, with the assistance of Rank 1 beast blood, he could push himself even closer to the 130-kilogram threshold separating Blood Warrior Apprentices from Rank 1 Blood Warriors.

"Continue cultivating!"

Ryan closed his eyes again.

Original Essence began circulating through his body.

While Ryan was cultivating in seclusion, the situation outside gradually became chaotic.

The trial was approaching its final stage.

Students who wanted higher rankings became increasingly desperate to obtain more points.

Some began robbing other participants of the beast materials they had collected.

Fights between students became increasingly common.

However, there was still one line most of them did not dare cross.

Killing another participant deliberately was strictly forbidden.

The punishment would be severe.

More importantly, no one knew whether academy instructors or other Blood Warriors were secretly monitoring parts of the trial area.

Even so, weaker students suffered badly.

Materials they had spent days collecting were taken from them by stronger participants.

In the blink of an eye, the three-day trial was nearing its end.

One student after another began leaving the controlled wilderness area and returning toward the entrance of the valley.

"Owen Carter, 16 points!"

"Nolan Pierce, 24 points!"

"Gavin Brooks, 37 points!"

"Ethan Cole, 0 points!"

The instructor responsible for calculating the points looked at the injured Ethan and immediately guessed what had happened.

He had most likely been robbed of his collected materials and beaten badly, which was why he had returned with zero points.

However, the instructor had no sympathy for him.

This was a trial.

Without strength, being robbed of one's harvest was only to be expected.

"Leon Vance, 312 points!"

When Leon's score was announced, the students from his academy immediately showed proud expressions.

After all, Leon was one of their students. His performance naturally brought some pride to their academy.

"Cut, it's only 312 points, and with such a result, you deserve to challenge me?"

Connor Blake walked out of the controlled wilderness area and looked at Leon with a sneer.

Immediately afterward, he took out his harvest one bag after another.

Three large bags.

The instructor carefully calculated Connor's materials.

After some time, he announced a shocking score.

"Connor Blake, 684 points!"

"So many?"

Leon's expression changed.

He immediately said coldly,

"You must have robbed someone else!"

"That's what I'm capable of!"

Connor sneered.

Leon's face turned red, but he didn't know how to refute it.

"Wow, 684 points. Connor should be first!"

"Among the five seed students of First Martial Academy, Connor's strength is the strongest. He's probably one of the strongest Blood Warrior Apprentices participating in this trial. There shouldn't be many people with more points than him."

"You don't know yet? A Fire Lion in the trial area actually broke through and became a genuine Rank 1 beast!"

"That Fire Lion was surrounded and seriously injured by a large group of students, but someone eventually took advantage of the situation and finished it off."

"The proof from that Rank 1 Fire Lion alone is worth 1,600 points!"

"What? One thousand six hundred?"

"Who got the Fire Lion's proof? That alone is enough to take first place!"

"Although that's good luck, whoever got it basically took it from the hands of Connor and the others. They fought that Fire Lion for so long. If that person really dares to exchange the proof for points, his identity will immediately be exposed."

"Tsk, the first-place reward is three portions of Intermediate Beast Blood and 170,000 denari. If Connor gets offended, then he gets offended. What can Connor do here?"

"He might not dare to attack openly, but Connor isn't an ordinary student. With his background and First Martial Academy behind him, causing some trouble for that person wouldn't exactly be difficult."

Connor ignored the surrounding conversations.

His gaze remained fixed on the entrance to the trial area.

"Hmph, I don't believe you're willing to give up first place."

A fierce light flashed in his eyes.

"Once I know your identity, you just wait and see!"

Just as the allotted time was about to end, a young man walked out of the wilderness carrying a large bag and a smaller one.

The young man was Ryan.

"Teacher, this is my harvest. Please calculate it."

Ryan handed the bags to the instructor responsible for the points and spoke with a smile.

The instructor opened them and began counting carefully.

After some time, he said,

"A total of 261 points!"

That was already a respectable score.
