And I saw it.
Three rabbits, their teeth latched onto my calf.
I winced, a strained sound escaping me.
I collapsed to the floor.

Frantically kicking, I tried to get them off me.
Digging my palms into the ground, I tried to push myself back.
But before I could even apply the force, I fell backwards.
Looking to the right, I saw another rabbit.
Holding my hand in its bloodied jaw.
AHHHH!!—IT HURTS!—STOP!
One by one, they jumped onto me.
I felt something tear into my shoulder.
A-AGGH!
Then something claw through my stomach.
Sobbing, I begged.
AGGH—PLEASE! S-STOP!
Heart.
Lungs.
Legs.
Arms.
Until eventually, all I felt was blinding pain.
This was the end.
My vision started tunnelling.
My hearing faded.
Eventually, even the pain disappeared.
All that was left was void.

This time, I replied.
