Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 : Nightlife Monopoly

Tonight wasn't just a hunt for street thugs.

Tonight was the beginning of territory control.

As I stepped onto the neon-lit streets of North Gangbuk, the system reacted immediately.

[MAIN QUEST: THE NIGHTLIFE MONOPOLY]

Objective: Take all clubs and bars in North Gangbuk under your control

Time Limit: 7 Days

Reward: 1 Master Card + 1 Diamond Card (on First Successful Takeover)

I chose the largest club in the district. It controlled most of the revenue in North Gangbuk. Once this place fell, the smaller bars would follow soon after.

The moment I walked inside, heavy music slammed into my ears. Neon lights flickered above as bodies moved in chaotic rhythm. The floor vibrated with every bass drop.

Before I could move deeper, twelve guards in black suits stepped out from the VIP section, spreading out to block the hallway leading to the management wing.

"Who are you, kid? Are you even old enough to be in a place like this?" one of them laughed.

"I have a meeting with your boss," I replied.

"A meeting?" the muscular one scoffed. "If there was a meeting, we'd know about it. Stop lying and leave before we get angry."

I looked at them calmly.

"Looks like I don't have a choice."

With that, I stepped forward.

One of them raised a baton and swung without warning.

My body moved before the strike landed.

I twisted and launched a Taekwondo hook kick, the back of my shoe crashing into his temple.

CRACK.

He hit the floor before the baton could finish its arc.

Two more rushed me from either side. I jumped forward, splitting my legs mid-air. Both feet struck their throats at the same time.

They collapsed instantly, hands clawing at their necks as they struggled to breathe.

As I landed, another guard lunged at me, trying to wrap his arms around my waist. I caught his head under my arm, pivoted, and pressed my open palm against the center of his chest.

Fa Jin.

The vibration surged outward.

BOOM.

The force bypassed his suit completely and hurled him backward. He crashed through a glass table nearly fifteen feet away. Shards scattered across the floor.

He didn't get back up.

The remaining guards hesitated. Their formation collapsed.

One of them pulled out a knife and rushed me in panic. I caught his wrist mid-swing and drove my palm into his chest before he could recover.

Fa Jin.

The vibration tore through his torso. His sternum shattered from the inside. The knife slipped from his fingers and clattered to the floor as he collapsed.

I walked past the others without looking back.

At the end of the hallway stood the reinforced office door.

I planted my foot and fired a Taekwondo turning side kick.

BANG.

The wooden frame buckled. The door ripped free from the wall and slammed into the office.

Inside, the boss froze.

His glass slipped from his hand and shattered on the floor. His eyes widened as he stumbled backward, reaching toward a hidden drawer.

I crossed the room in two strides.

My hand closed around his throat, and I slammed him against the wall.

My open palm hovered inches from his stomach.

Fa Jin.

The vibration released instantly.

THUD.

His body slammed back hard enough to crack the drywall. Internally, his ribs splintered. He slid down the wall, coughing violently as dark blood spilled from his mouth.

His suit remained perfectly intact.

Shaking, he reached for his phone and tried to dial.

No answer.

He tried again.

Still nothing.

His gaze darted toward the hallway, then to the shattered door lying on the floor. Sweat rolled down his forehead as his breathing grew erratic.

"Wh… who are you?" he stammered.

I pulled a chair closer and sat down across from him. The overhead light reflected coldly in my eyes as I took out a stack of legal property transfer papers prepared through my grandfather's influence.

"Sign," I said.

While activating the card — Silver Tongue which became even more powerful after the card festival effect .

The atmosphere shifted. His pupils dulled. His expression emptied.

Without resistance, his hand moved. One by one, he signed every document I placed in front of him, transferring ownership of the club and its licenses to my name.

When the effect faded, reality returned all at once.

He stared at the papers.

Then at me.

Then back at the destroyed door.

"From now on," I said calmly, "this place belongs to me."

I leaned forward slightly.

"You'll stay on as an employee. You'll manage the club, handle the books, and hand over the profits. I'll decide your salary."

I let the words sink in.

"If even one won goes missing, I won't use a pen next time. I'll use my hands. Understand?"

His face drained of color.

He nodded frantically and dragged two heavy suitcases filled with cash toward me.

I walked a safe distance away and set the suitcases down in a dark alley.

[QUEST COMPLETE]

First Takeover Successful

Revealing Reward…

A shimmering purple card materialized in the air.

[DIAMOND CARD – SUMMON: SLIME]

Effect: Infinite Storage

"…Summon."

The ground beneath me darkened as thick purple liquid seeped upward. It bubbled, expanded, and formed into a massive, grotesque slime towering over me, its body pulking slowly with dark light.

Even I froze for a moment.

I tossed the suitcases into the void within its body. They vanished instantly.

"Infinite storage," I muttered. "Very Useful just like a walking system space from novels."

By sunrise, I had taken over all bars and clubs using the same method.

But Quest was still unfinished .
