(July, year 52 AK)
"A seer?! What is that supposed to mean?!" Yuta blurted out confusedly.
"Well, emm... It's not necessarily that, it just one of my guesses." Shisui replied a little embarrassed, "I believe that you possess some sort of a special ability, and you got to know about Orochimaru's situation beforehand with the help of that special ability of yours. But is it a future prediction or something else, I'm not sure."
'He figured out so much from just that!?' Yuta was shocked and almost dropped into the water, regaining his balance at the last moment.
"Your reaction is already enough to confirm that my guess is correct." Shisui smiled and said in a friendly manner, "Why don't you stop your exercise and come out of the water? I see that you already exhausted and barely standing."
"Sure" Yuta replied begrudgingly and slowly walked back to the shore.
'I can't believe he just said that with a straight face! He confronted me while I was on water, and used my concentration on the exercise to interrogate me and get the answers, and now, when he is done with it and allowed me to stop the exercise, he put it like I was free to stop at any moment, yea sure...'
"So, what happens now?" Yuta asked as he walked and stood beside Shisui.
"Well, I came to warn you to not approach Itachi for the time being." Shisui said.
"I see, so he is under surveillance right now, that means he told his father about Orochimaru directly, without covering it up somehow, and of course, the Uchiha patriarch would be eager to uncover the source of this intel..." Yuta said being deep in thoughts.
"It's good that you understand so much already." Shisui said calmly, "But some things should remain unsaid." Shisui warned him, "Still, I find you unnaturally calm and relaxed for the situation you are in. You seem to understand the hidden implications well, but you remain unbothered by it, I find it strange..."
As Yuta remained relaxed, Shisui looked at him and continued, "The patriarch of one of the strongest clans are looking for you, and if he finds you, well, you are an orphan with no backing, you could be easily arrested by the Uchiha Police Force on some fabricated suspicions and tortured until you spill everything, and no one will bat an eye."
As Yuta remains silent, waiting to see what Shisui is implying, Shisui continued, "Your secret is already known by two Uchiha clansmen. Do you trust me and Itachi so much that you believe completely that both of us won't report you to the patriarch? Why did you put yourself in such a vulnerable position in the first place, and why do you remain so relaxed, I wonder..."
'Should I fake some fear and act worried in the future? No, I'm not confident in my acting skills, it won't fool a shinobi, I'm still on my first months of the Ninja Academy, I'm only started to learn, and I don't know the first thing about how to properly pretend and act to fool a shinobi...'
'From Shisui's perspective it looks like I'm in a vulnerable position and my life is in danger, but from my perspective it really wasn't, hence I'm calm and unbothered by the threat of being captured and tortured, since as long as I'm conscious and able to enter my mindscape – all the life-threatening situations will turn out as just a minor seatback for me.'
'But I can't explain it to anybody, since my time-travel should remain as my biggest secret and never to be revealed under any circumstances! Since if it gets revealed, that is when my life would be truly in danger.'
As Yuta had still remained silent and appeared in a deep thought, Shisui said, "It seems to me that my original guess might be correct after all, you are a seer, or something like that, you could predict the future. It's not like you trust me and Itachi so much, it's more like you could predict that everything would go well for you, that's how you remain relaxed."
"Huh?" Yuta blurted out in surprise and shock.
'I didn't even say anything! Shisui is too sharp, he is figuring out more and more just by observing my subtle body movements, and his guesses were starting to hit too close to home for my comfort! No, there is no reason to panic just yet, it's impossible for him to figure out everything, and his guesses, although is uncomfortably close to home, it's not a bad cover for my usage of the future knowledge.'
"You felt some fear just now for the first time since we met, it confirms my guess." Shisui said, "I'm sorry, I won't pry any further, no need to be frightened."
'Thanks, Shisui, I guess. I didn't know how to even begin to explain my future knowledge to someone, but you figured it out and made a good cover for my future knowledge yourself! What a nice guy, it's a pleasure to work with smart people, just let them figure out and made up everything for me, and it will turn out much better and more believable than anything I could come up with on my own!'
...
'Still, he talks too much.' Yuta thought irritated.
"It's fine as long as you understand." Yuta said and smiled slightly, "But some things should remain unsaid, isn't that right?"
"Ha ha, you've got me there." Shisui laughed casually, "Well then, since we understood each other, and if you don't have anything else for me, it's time for me to leave, I'll come to chat with you some other day."
"Wait, there is something I should tell you!" As Shisui was about to leave, Yuta hurriedly said in a spur of the moment.
"Oh, I'm listening."
"Danzo is not to be trusted!" Yuta said with grave conviction.
"Is that so..." Shisui's entire demeanor turned heavy and cold in an instant, there is no more a friendly older boy who stands in front of Yuta but a seasoned shinobi, "Anything else about Danzo?" He asked with heavy pressure in his voice.
"No, nothing else, it's too far into the future, I can't say more than I already said.", Yuta replied trying his best to not fold under the pressure, he didn't want to say too much at this point as he believes that it was too early to open this can of worms named Danzo.
"I see, thank you for the warning." Shisui said in a relaxed manner, returning to his friendly demeanor, "If you uncover anything else about Danzo, please inform me immediately, okay?"
"Yea, sure, it is in my best interest as well, trust me." Yuta said in a genuine manner, relieved that the pressure was gone.
Shisui looked into Yuta's eyes for a few seconds and finally said, "I trust you." And left immediately after that, disappearing from where he stood without any trace, as if he wasn't there in the first place.
As Yuta resumed his normal training routine, he thought, 'Well, that was unexpected, but it went well, I think? If it went well or not, will solely depend on if he would report me to the Hokage or not, if he does, Danzo would come to know about me as well... And I would have to start from the square one and rethink my strategy...'
...
'It's a good thing I told Shisui to not trust Danzo, if he listens to my warning - he won't report me to the Hokage, I think, as he should know by now how close those two are, or I hope so. Should I've asked him directly to keep my secret from the Hokage? No, that would've been suspicious, it's better to do it in a roundabout way by warning him about Danzo.'
As Yuta finished his training and went home, he was quite excited about how this situation will progress and how everything will turn out in the end. For more than three years of subjective time with all the time-travels, Yuta was confined to the orphanage most of that time, and didn't have any entertainment or much action, all he did during all that time was just train and rest, rinse and repeat.
Now, that he was decided to act upon the situation with the Uchiha clan, with all the events happening around him in the real time and all the talking he did today, it was probably more talking than he ever had combined during the previous three years, Yuta felt how excitement was building up inside him and he was looking forward to the upcoming events and his role in them.
Although he wasn't strong enough yet to directly participate in this events, since it involves many strong shinobi, Yuta is still able to influence the events from the shadows, trying multiple different approaches until it works and until he would be satisfied with the outcome, using not strength but a subtle influence, changing the outcome of the events entirely.
'Ayo, calm down, Yuta, you are not Cid Kagenou, some eminence you are, not even on the level of the normal Genin yet!' Yuta gave himself some reality-check and returned to thinking rationally.
'It's likely that it all will depend on Shisui now, if Shisui doesn't die, then Itachi won't awaken Mangekyo, and won't be strong enough to eliminate his clan, and Shisui will never agree to do something like that.'
'This means that if I'll be able to keep Shisui alive with my future knowledge, it would drastically change the outcome of the Uchiha clan's crisis, one way or another. And further down the timeline, when the time comes, I would be able to make a decision about how to resolve the crisis and through some trial and error with my time-travel, it should be totally possible for me to make it done.'
...
'That scumbag Danzo though... I should totally aim to eliminate him as soon as possible, but it sure won't be easy...'
