Chapter 39 - Chapter39-Dark Titan Appears!

Wood Elves, Frontline Tactical Command Camp

A dozen senior members of the Wood Elves gathered in the conference room of the camp.

In front of them was a massive screen.

Unlike the usual screens, this one was made of wood elements, a semi-transparent light curtain that displayed the map of the Wood Elves' border and several key nodes.

Frostguard City was one of those critical nodes.

The general commander pointed to the blinking red dot on the screen and asked,

"What is the current situation? Has Orn's appearance already breached the human defenses?"

Soon, the intelligence officer responded,

"According to the latest intel, the Ironclad Legion of humans has sent all their elite forces. Therefore, Orn's movements are temporarily halted. However, it won't take long before the humans can no longer hold."

"Additionally, the ultimate weapon of the Titan race has been deployed. Even if Orn is defeated, the humans will still face certain doom."

The general commander nodded, his expression remarkably calm,

"The joint forces of various races are advancing on the human border from different directions. The orcs to the southwest, and we Wood Elves. It seems the elves are also preparing a naval assault."

"The dwarves are waiting for the right moment to strike, and though the Titan race signed a peace treaty with the humans, they are also on our side."

Upon hearing these words, the senior Wood Elves in the room couldn't help but smile with excitement.

They had lived in this tiny, barren area for thousands of years, always eyeing the human lands.

However, the strength of humans far surpassed what the Wood Elves could contend with, so they had always been submissive, even choosing to ally with the Titan race to the north.

Now, with the combined forces of various races attacking, this would be an unprecedented opportunity for the Wood Elves!

"Deploy the mission immediately, assist Orn's advance, and we must seize Frostguard City!"

"Frostguard City's position is crucial. If we can take it, we will have the human race by the throat."

"By the way, who is the current commander of Frostguard City?"

The intelligence officer, clearly well-prepared, picked up a file and replied,

"According to the latest intel, one of the captains of the Ironclad Legion, a class of artillery specialists, is in charge. He's level 320, but he's no match for Orn."

"Boom!!!"

At that moment, a violent explosion suddenly rang out from outside the frontline tactical command camp.

The general commander froze for a moment, then a smile of excitement spread across his face,

"It seems the captain of the Ironclad Legion has taken action. The humans should have no backup left this time."

"Everyone, let's go see how this human captain meets his end!"

The senior Wood Elves in the room all walked out of the camp.

They looked up at the sky, but when they saw the massive [Divine Mirror Dragonlord] and the dazzling little sun, all of them were stunned.

"When did the artillery specialist class get such powerful skills?"

"Even the awakened artillery specialist class shouldn't have this kind of power, right?"

But the next moment, the little sun suddenly emitted a powerful energy wave.

It exploded, and even the Wood Elves' frontline camp, several dozen miles away, was instantly uprooted!

"Help, help!"

Some of the senior Wood Elves never expected that this battle would affect them!

These high-ranking officials, who had always been composed, were now frantically seeking shelter underground.

Damn it, did we make a misjudgment?

The general commander remained remarkably calm. He cleared his throat and urgently issued a command.

"Go, immediately report the situation here to the Titan race."

"Orn's body can't withstand this level of attack. The rest will be up to the Titan race."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield,

Caelan saw his experience bar rapidly soaring as if it were spamming across the screen!

[You killed Orn, gained experience: 10,329,128!]

[You killed a flesh abomination, gained experience: 54,169]

[You killed a flesh abomination, gained experience: 54,169]

...

[Congratulations, your level has risen to level 85, gained 10 attribute points!]

[Congratulations, your level has risen to level 93, gained 10 attribute points!]

[Congratulations, your level has risen to level 130, gained 42 attribute points!]

[You have reached the current level cap, please proceed to complete the class mutation quest (3 stars)]

Seeing this string of panels, Caelan couldn't have been more excited!

He had originally thought that reaching 3 stars was still a long way off.

But he never expected that just by killing the Lord Boss Orn, he had already maxed out his level!

This was a massive profit!

Normally, going from level 60 to level 130 would require clearing hundreds of Instances, but thanks to Orn, Caelan had saved himself that grind.

If he had known it would be like this, he might have just gone straight for Orn and killed it, saving a lot of time.

Aside from the experience points, Orn also dropped a huge amount of materials and equipment.

[You obtained an epic-grade item, Holy Whitebone Shield!]

[You obtained an epic-grade item, Holy Whitebone Greaves!]

[You obtained an epic-grade material, Unknown Creature's Huge Bone]

[You obtained a legendary-grade item, Orn's Fury (Crown)]

...

Caelan waved his hand and stored all of his loot in his storage space.

This haul made him incredibly excited.

Both the materials and equipment were already at the epic-grade level.

Compared to the Instances he'd cleared before, this reward was conservatively estimated to be a hundred times greater!

Caelan even felt that the rewards this time might be comparable to when he obtained the [Sacred Armor].

Some of the equipment, he even considered using for himself.

However, his priority now was to complete his [Class Mutation Quest - 3 Stars].

As Caelan was thinking and about to open his quest panel,

suddenly the ground ahead shook violently!

The next moment, the entire ground cracked open, with countless fissures spreading like a spider web.

The surrounding trees, flesh abominations, and beasts were all instantly swallowed.

The surviving Ironclad Legion soldiers fled for their lives, scrambling toward the rear.

Caelan frowned, his pupils suddenly shrinking.

Wait, isn't that... the creature that appeared in [Shattered Memories]?

The Dark Titan... It's here!
