Jay-Jay's POV
He had told me that he was going to clean himself up, but so much time had passed. Where was he now? I didn't know what he is up to, but at the very least, he should have told me where he was going so I could call someone to pick me up later. He is really confusing.
I heard Drew's voice approaching me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Jay,where's Yuri?" Drew asked, clearly confused.
"I don't know… maybe he's around," I replied, frustrated.
He's such a dumbass. He probably didn't want me to know where he was going. Maybe he went to order an eat-all-you-can buffet and planned to eat everything by himself. What! Did he don't want anyone to touch his food.
Ugh… sooo selfish.
I slapped my own forehead. Why was food always on my mind? What if he was actually in trouble? What was I supposed to do? Should I call Keifer so he could handle it?
"Jay, Jay… what are you thinking?" Drew asked.
"Uh-umm-n-no, nothing," I said, trying to sound normal.
"Look,Yuri messaged me," Drew said, showing me his phone. On the screen, Yuri's message appeared.
From: Hanamitchi
Message: Don't let Jay come outside. I'll explain everything later.
I didn't understand why he didn't want me to step outside. Maybe my suspicion was right. He was probably going to order eat-all-you-can buffet and didn't want me or anyone to eat with him.
But even if I did go outside, how was I supposed to find him? He never told me which restaurant he went to enjoy himself.
"Wow. So smart,huh?" I muttered.
I wish I could have enjoyed that food too. Clearly frustrated with that red-haired guy, I drifted back into my thoughts until a sudden noise from inside the house pulled me back to reality. Feeling anxious, I glanced into the room and saw Marianne rushing toward her mother.
"Kuya,help me!" She shouted.
Drew, still confused after reading Yuri's message, rushed inside to help her. I saw that their mother was awake and heading toward the room where her chess box was placed by Marianne.
I was just about to help when an idea popped up into my mind. I knew they were trying to put their mother back to sleep. I didn't step in because I knew they could handle it. Besides, even before I came here, they must have been taking care of her without me.
Oh no….. I realised I wasn't important in their lives.
Just kidding.Hehehehe.
Anyway, I didn't want to matter in their lives either. What if they had already made me pay their debts? So, I decided to stick to my plan.
A sharp feeling in my chest pushed me to step outside and see what the red-haired guy was up to. Without realising it, my legs had already carried me out of the house.
I didn't see anyone, no sign of Yuri, the very reason I was here. So I decided to move a little further.
With every step I took forward, my heart raced faster and faster. I knew that the strange feeling in my heart is warning me that something bad is about to happen. I moved slowly, pushing my feet onto the ground so that they could not make any sound.
Wow…. I looked like a professional thief.
I wondered if I could make this my job after graduation but what if Kuya found out? I'd be in serious trouble.
I reached the subdivision I had used earlier to get to Drew's house. I froze in my place when I noticed a few people standing a little distance away, holding knives.
And then-
What was that?
"Y… U… R… I…," I screamed
What!?
I want to punch myself hard, why should I have to dream that hard.
Now, they are against me. What should I do now, I want to call someone
