????: "How long has it been since we checked on that item?"

???: "The craftsman's son's item? We lost it around 9 years ago."

????: " Lost it? No, He just didn't use it much. So it must have been covered up, check in the system for it."

???: "got it."

" Hey, Paxon, where's you're amo?"

"Amo? Why are you calling him that? "

"I'm just asking, didn't you call him master a while back? I'm sure that's what you called him. . . I, don't think I missed hurd."

Sylvester looked at him with a smug smile, pissing Paxon off.

"Why are you listening to other people's private conversations? That's rude."

Sylvester looked at him with a confused look.

". . . you're the rude one here. Anyways, what's his name again?"

"Aster."

"No, what is his actual name?"

"It's Aster."

" That's not his name. Do you not know his actual name? "

"Of course I do, it's Astor Vuo Ruthburn. I've been with him since he was a kid. How could I not know?"

"Well that name doesn't sound right. He never really responds to it well. What if he lied to you about his name."

"Isn't he Russian?"

". . . He's not."

"He's not? But his paper work says he's-"

Paxon snapped, cutting Sylvester off before he could finish.

"Ugh! You really are like a rat, aren't you? Always sinking your teeth into matters that don't concern you!"

His expression twisted with irritation.

"Tell me, Sylvester, do you make it a habit of digging through other people's affairs? Or is Astor simply that fascinating to you?"

He took a step closer, his voice growing colder.

"Whatever you think you've discovered about Astor, I suggest you forget it. His affairs here are also none of your concern."

"Wooooww, buddy, calm down now, I won't snatch him away from you if I find him interesting.

Paxon let out a sharp, humorless laugh.

"You should really mind your own business."

'Bing!!'

Paxon looked over a red popup ' what now???

" What the?"

{ the party in the other side are confused. }

Paxon covered his face, feeling sick.". . . what just happened?"

I knew something was wrong. But, I couldn't tell what it was. What will ⬜️⬜️⬜️ say if there's really an error in my system.

"What to do?"

" yeah, what to do when your 'master' hasn't appeared yet. Looks like he likes that bathroom a lot more than you."

"Will you shut it already!!"

" Yeah, Yeah."

But now that he mentions it, master hasn't left the room.

"How long ago was it, since he entered?"

" not that long, maybe he's having stomach problems."

"I'm going to go check on him. I'll be right back."

" wow you really are a pain in the ass, I would hate to have you as a friend. Leave him be. That's his private time. Don't be weird and leave him alone. He might just want to be alone because there's someone always around him bothering him. So go make 'us' something to eat."

" You really like to push my buttons don't you. What's up with you? What's your problem? "

"You've been a bother since we arrived here." Paxon looked at Sylvester pissed off.

"You should know why." 'Hmf!' Sylvester glared back at him.

The only thing Plunko could think of was about, Theodore. Was he still upset about that? Clearly Sylvester couldn't tell that his 'friend' was upstairs in the bathroom. But it made sense since Theodore was now in his original body with his original name. "Don't tell me you're still mad over Theodore, He was already dead, I didn't kill him."

"He was alive when I left him. When I came back he-" Sylvester paused. Pointing at Paxon.

"you were the only one there."

Paxon glared at him "He killed him-self."

"What?" Sylvester looked at him with disbelief from the nonsense he had just heard.

Paxon signed. "Well, originally that body was dead, but it still didn't want to leave without doing one thing. So I gave it a chance to live a little bit longer. See how nice I was."

"What are you saying? How was he dead."

"Isn't it obvious? All this time, you were talking to a dead person. He wasn't alive, it was just a corpse being used by another to fulfill a wish that both wanted really badly. I bet he knew that he had little time left. And it tried to do something about it and-"

"What the fuck are you? A freak or a monster."

" Don't call me that, believe it or not, I'm way better than that."

"What is wrong with you?"

"Nothing's wrong with me. You just don't understand what's going on. You don't pay attention enough and don't open your eyes and see what's really in front of you."

" Don't you act all smart with me. You pathetic piece of—"

"GUYS!!! What have you done to my kitchen!?!"

"What is this mess?"

Sylvester turned to look at Harrison.

Paxon turned and pointed at Sylvester. "It was him. He started it."

Sylvester got up from the chair " What are you saying?!? I'm not even next to the stove!!"

"I'm going, I'll go check on Aster, he still hasn't come out.."

"He still hasn't come out?

"Yup, go be a bother to him. He can't even take a shit in peace with you around."

" Sylvester!! What are you saying! You can't go around saying things like that"

As plunko made his way towards the door, all he heard were muffled voices. Not only that but, he was having trouble keeping his composure.

"Ugh- why, do I feel like something's wrong?"

Was it because of Sylvester? "That couldn't be. Lately, he hasn't been feeling the best."

He thought about every possible moment that could have triggered it but nothing. It was such an unpleasant feeling. His steps felt unusually heavy, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't seem to shake the growing uneasiness.

Plunko smiled and knocked on the door where Aster was staying.

'Master?'

Nothing. There was only silence on the other side. He kept his head straight, still smiling.

He knocked again "Master?"

Still nothing.

He shook his head, dismissing a thought almost immediately.

'That wouldn't happen again. I saw him last night and have kept my eye on him since then. He won't leave again.'

"But, why couldn't I sense him?" He reached the doorknob and opened the door. It was empty, Plunko stood there in Silence.

He could've sworn Astor had been around earlier. When did he leave? When?! A faint chill crept down his spine. He hadn't heard the door open. He hadn't seen Astor pass by. In fact, now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember seeing him leaving at all, not at the front or back door. Did he jump out the window? Why? Why would he do that? Is it because of-.

"Astor?"

" Were you out this whole time? Since when were you out? I didn't see you leave."

Plunko didn't look back.

"Oh, haha yeah, I stepped out for a bit. The weather is nice outside. I couldn't help myself. Haha"

"Just because you changed your looks a bit doesn't mean people won't recognize you."

"Yes, you're right. I hadn't thought about that."

". . . "

Plunko fell silent.

Something about this whole situation left a bitter feeling in his stomach.

It wasn't necessarily what Astor had said, nor was it the fact that he'd gone out without telling him.

It was something far more difficult to explain.

For as long as he could remember, Plunko had possessed an unusual ability to take in the smallest details of his surroundings. Things that would ordinarily escape others but rarely escaped him..

He had always taken a certain pride in that.

After all, he was one of a kind. There wasn't anything like him. That could understand and retain information quite the way he could.

And Astor…

Well, Astor was different.

They had grown up together. Plunko knew his habits, his mannerisms, the little things he'd do without even realizing it. He could recognize the sound of his footsteps, the slightest change in his voice, even the way he'd carry himself when something was troubling him.

Or at least, he thought he could.

" ...How strange. Am I, Lacking? "

His fingers curled slightly against his palm.

Astor had left the house, wandered about, and returned, all without Plunko noticing a single thing.

Not a sound

.

Not a glimpse.

Not even the faintest indication that he'd been gone.

How could I have missed that? Was there really an error in my system? Am I broken?

"...Plunko?"

He flinched then blinked. Not turning to look at him.

"Hm?"

"Is something the matter?"

" No master,"

He forced a small smile, though it did little to ease the unpleasant feeling lingering in his chest.

How ridiculous.

It's not as though I need to know where he is every second of the day.

And yet… For the first time in a long while, Plunko found himself unable to trust his own senses.

He wasn't particularly fond of that feeling.

"Plunko."

"Hm?"

"You're awfully quiet today."

"Am I?" Plunko tilted his head slightly.

"Well, yes. Usually, you'd have something to say by now."

"... that is true, I just haven't been feeling the best lately."

"I see."

A brief silence settled between them.

Plunko finally turned to face Astor, his eyes lingering on him a little longer than usual.

"Say, Master."

"Hm?"

"Did you happen to see anyone while you were out?"

Astor blinked, "Anyone?"

"Yes. Anyone at all."

"Ah, well... Not particularly. Why do you ask?"

"Ah, No reason."

Plunko's gaze drifted toward the window.

No reason at all.

He almost laughed at himself. What was he doing? Not looking at him while talking, interrogating his master, how sick has he been feeling to do that.

Astor looked at him, then he smiled.

"Buddy, are you upset about something? You didn't even correct me when I called you Plunko.

Plunko didn't turn, instead he's face turned red.

"Master, I think. I think I might be sick. I'm sorry."

"Not feeling well. . . "

Aster stood there looking at him.

"Well if you're not feeling well. I'll take care of you then. Aster took plunko's hand, "come here bunny."

He hadn't noticed Sylvester looking over at them.
