Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The New High-Ranking Executive of Team Rocket!

The next morning.

"Welcome to the team, Miss Caitlin," Damian said with a smile, looking at her.

When he woke up that morning, he'd planned to spend some time with Domino for some morning sex, but then he received Caitlin's call.

This was a great surprise. Damian valued Caitlin very highly.

This genius Psychic-type girl's potential went far beyond the Elite Four. With proper training, she would definitely become a pillar of Team Rocket.

Although Team Rocket had many High-Ranking Executives, currently only Giovanni and Damian were at the Champion level. Therefore, a Trainer with the potential to reach that level was very precious.

"I hope to learn a lot from you, Master Damian."

Caitlin took Damian's hand, her clear eyes meeting his. She had spent the entire night thinking before finally making her decision.

She chose to trust Damian. Seeing the dark side of the world would allow her to grow much faster! She had to become strong!

"Of course. From now on, we are close partners. Believe me, Miss Caitlin, you will never regret today's decision."

Damian grinned, then gestured for Caitlin to sit down.

Caitlin remained silent. Since she had made her choice, she wouldn't regret it. Everyone should take responsibility for the decisions they make.

"Master Damian, why did our Team Rocket come to the Alola Region?"

Caitlin sat down gracefully, smoothing her skirt as she did so. She asked him out of curiosity.

Caitlin was indeed smart. She even used the phrase "our Team Rocket" to show her current stance.

In truth, Caitlin didn't know much about Team Rocket. She only knew that such an organization existed in the Kanto Region.

But she knew one thing: any group that could thrive and rule the underground world right under the nose of the League headquarters in the Kanto Region had to be extraordinary.

"Development in the Kanto Region has become saturated. The organization needs to expand outward, and the Alola Region is our first target."

Damian poured a cup of freshly brewed tea and handed it to her.

"Try some, Miss Caitlin. I specifically had someone bring this tea from the Galar Region."

"Thank you. You can just call me Caitlin, Master Damian."

Caitlin politely accepted the cup with both hands. She seemed to understand.

"So, in the Alola Region, we are...?"

"Exactly. To put it bluntly, we came to the Alola Region to take over the territory. Also, you can just call me Damian too."

Damian took a sip of tea and made a small joke.

Caitlin blinked, the corners of her lips curling up slightly. She was curious about how this "taking over territory" would work.

"Speaking of which, you joined at a perfect time. Today, we are planning to 'pay a visit' to the local group, Team Skull."

"I'm looking forward to it."

Caitlin smiled. These were her honest thoughts. A strange "new world" was slowly revealing itself to her. For her, this new world would be very interesting.

"As a friend, this is my personal gift to you for joining the organization."

Damian took a shrunken Poké Ball from his pocket and handed it to Caitlin.

To tie Caitlin firmly to Team Rocket's ship, he naturally had to put in some effort.

"I couldn't possibly..."

Caitlin tried to decline.

"Don't be polite. Open it and see. I think you'll like it," Damian said with a smile. "If you consider me a friend, then accept it."

Hearing this, Caitlin stopped her rejection. How could she say no now?

"Thank you, Damian."

Caitlin bit her lip. Her clear, bright eyes reflected Damian's face. A warm feeling flowed through her heart as she took the Poké Ball.

Perhaps... this really was the right decision.

Caitlin opened the Poké Ball. A flash of white light appeared, and a small blue-and-pink creature landed on the tea table, letting out a cute cry.

"Mimu?"

The little creature had very long bangs that covered its eyes. It had a round body and a tail that curved upward with a light blue ball at the tip. It looked like it was wearing a hat.

This was the Psychic-type Pokémon, Hatenna.

Caitlin looked at the little one with curiosity. She recognized it immediately. Since she specialized in the Psychic type, she knew about Psychic Pokémon from various Regions.

"This is a Hatenna from the Galar Region. It has great potential. Its final evolution is Hatterene, known as the 'Forest Witch,' a Psychic- and Fairy-type Pokémon."

Damian gave a brief introduction of Hatenna.

"I specifically chose this Hatenna. Its ability is Magic Bounce, which is great for dealing with status moves. If you had a Hatterene yesterday, Mismagius wouldn't have had such an easy time."

Damian added a teasing remark.

Magic Bounce: An ability that reflects status moves back at the opponent.

While it wasn't an ability that directly increased combat power, being able to block and reflect most status moves made Magic Bounce a very strong ability.

Caitlin gave a soft laugh. Her eyes flickered as she looked at Damian, and then she turned to the cute Hatenna and smiled warmly. Her smile was very beautiful.

"Thank you. I really like this little one."

Caitlin picked up Hatenna and smiled gently. Her tone was very soft. Yes, she really liked it.

"I thought so," Damian laughed.

Just then, the doorbell rang, and Proton opened the door and walked in.

"Master Damian."

Proton bowed to Damian. His gaze then fell upon Caitlin, who looked elegant and noble in her long pink dress.

Master?

Caitlin noticed the way Proton addressed him.

"Proton, you're here. Let me introduce you. This is Caitlin, Team Rocket's new High-Ranking Executive."

"Caitlin, this is Proton. He is one of the High-Ranking Executives. He's the only High-Ranking Executive I asked my old man for."

Damian stood up and introduced them to each other.

Proton looked at Caitlin with quite a bit of surprise. A High-Ranking Executive? It had only been a few days since they arrived, and Master Damian had already recruited an executive.

And she looked like a noble young lady from a wealthy family. As expected of Master Damian.

Proton didn't doubt Damian's judgment. That was his duty as a subordinate. He also believed that Damian wasn't the type of man to be blinded by a pretty face.

"Hello, Miss Caitlin. I look forward to working with you."

Proton greeted Caitlin politely with a friendly attitude.

"Mr. Proton, I am the one who is new here. Please take care of me." Caitlin stood up and lifted her skirt slightly in a polite, elegant curtsy.

Proton smiled and nodded. His first impression of Caitlin was very good. He liked polite colleagues.

He hated arrogant brats like Carr the most.
