Today mother went out to attend a tea party, thus she sent Cinderella to bring a carriage. Me and Drizzy are waiting in the drawing room with mother so that we can see her off.
"I am going out, it doesn't mean you will sit idle all day. Practice embroidery."
"You can decline if you don't want to go."
"I have to go, so that I can find a perfect man for both of your marriages."
"Madam! Carriage is here."
"Good, I will be off then girls. And you! Don't slack when I'm away. Lazy ass."
Saying this she left on her carriage. Three of us were standing outside until the carriage was no longer visible. After that Drizzy went to her room and Cinderella went back with her work.
I followed her, "Umm.. Is there any changes in the plan or are we meeting as planned?"
"The plan is still on, don't worry!!"
"Then call me when you are ready."
Cinderella gave a nod and went back to the kitchen.

Cinderella gathered all the vegetables she needs to cut in a bowl, washed it and started cutting.
She is really confused, Anastasia, who used to be so rude to her before, second to her stepmother is now suddenly being nice to her.
"She really changed after that incident. Always calm, talking nicely, never shouts and even trying to initiate conversation with me even after I ignore."
"She even got close with Drizella, that's why she has also got better now days."
"Why does she wants to meet with me?"
"Will my luck ever recover?"
She took a deep sigh when a bird flew inside.
"Ohh bluey, here you are. Wait, let me give you some crumbs of bread."
She went and brought some bread crumbs for the bird to feed. This is one of the rare moments she enjoys in her entire day of tiredness.

"Lunch is ready!!"
Both of us went down upon hearing that the lunch is ready. I met with Drizzy in corridor while going down. I approach her,
"Drizzy, are you ready?"
"For what?" She gave a confused look.
"For the apology of course."
"Did she said she will apologize?"
"No! For that you have to be honest with her first."
"What do you mean?"
I hold both of her hands,
"She isn't a bad girl and neither we are, there is just a big misunderstanding between us. We treated her so badly all this time, we must apologize too and tell our honest feeling. I believe she will understand. And I have faith in my sister, she is smart and knows what to do."
I gave a light kiss on her forhead and patted her shoulder.
"Come, let's go!!"
For the first time Drizella understood what it means to have a big sister. She is glad. She followed her big sister.
We reached the dining table when Cinderella was serving the food. We sat on our chairs while Cinderella gave us the cutlery.
"You may start now."
"But where are yours."
Everyone was silent and looking at each other.
"I know you usually eat in the kitchen but that's the case when mother is here, not for today."
I looked at Drizzy for her approval.
"I don't mind." Drizzy approved which made Cinderella a little surprised.
I went to the kitchen and brought a plate, bowl and cutlery and served her the food.
"Now sit here and start eating, otherwise the food will get cold."
After that we both started eating. Cinderella was zoned out for a moment, trying to process what just happened. I kicked her on the legs slightly and eyed her to sit and start eating.
I know that's not a lady like but who cares, the only lady of the house is not in the house today.
After thinking for few minutes she sat down to eat with us.
After finishing lunch I told Cinderella to bring the dessert to the garden. For three of us. And she did as I said.
She placed the desserts in front of us and then sat on the garden chair after asking for permission. She started,
"Does both of you want to talk with me?"
She glanced over at Drizzy who was busy with her dessert. So I started,
"I will go straight to the business, do you hate us?"
I was blunt which caught Cinderella and Drizzy off guard. Drizzy choked on her dessert and coughed a little.
"Isn't it obvious after how you have been treated me all along."
"Beside that, anything that made you hate us?"
She paused a little and replied, "No".
Then I asked Drizzy, "Drizzy, do you hate her?"
She looked at me first and then at Cinderella.
"I don't hate her... I just don't like her."
"Then why do you treat her like that?"
"Cause she dared to accuse us for her father's death while we were trying to comfort her." She shouted.
"We have lost our father too, and after our mother remarried someone else that person, her father died too and she decided to blame us for that. And she never apologized for that, so I started to treat her like mother and you did."
"It felt like we were not welcome here in the first place and her accusation made it worse."
"Everything was new for us too and really overwhelming when we have to forget our past and start something new under someone else's place."
She started tearing up, I went to her and took her in my arms and rubbed her back.
"I-I didn't... want to... b-blame you."
I looked at Cinderella, her eyes are moist too. She continued,
"T-that time, I just lost my f-father, my only family and you were strangers in my home. It just happened, m-may be I just wanted to blame someone to relieve my frustration."
"So you just blamed us? Who should I blame then for our father's death."
Cinderella rushed and sat near Drizella's legs, teared started falling from her beautiful eyes which was a scene it self.
"I'm sorry, Drizella. I never meant that, I wasn't thinking straight then. You are right. It was my fault, I should have come to you to apologize. I was just scared that maybe both of you might hate me. I am sorry, really sorry."
Now I was hugging Drizzy with one hand and Cinderella with another and both of them are in a crying competition.
"Okay, stop crying. Come on. Ella, we both are sorry for treating you like this. It's our fault."
"We are sorry Cin.. Ella." Drizzy added.
"No don't be, I'm sorry too for not considering your kindness when you came to comfort me and blaming you."
Cinderella turned towards me, "even today I thought you are going to do something bad."
She hugged me, "Thank you, it feels like something heavy is lifted off my chest."
I hugged her back and Drizzy also hugged her from behind. We stayed like that for don't know how long. But I'm happy that we solved our misunderstanding. I hope that actual Anastasia would have been happy if she were here in my place. After all I got myself two world best sisters.
"You both are my dearest sisters and it will be like that from now on."
It was a really good idea to talk it out. I hope now everyone will get a happy ending.
That afternoon we talked about all of our misunderstandings and complains we have to each other. Original story of Cinderella took a turn for better. Now there is only one thing left. That is Cinderella's ball with the prince Charming then the story will run on its own.

SIDE NOTE: I always thought it was really hard for the step sisters as their mother has to remarry and they have to change their place just because they have no means of earning as an aristocrat woman. That era was really hard for women.
Besides this, I'm really happy they are together now, from here on the emotional part is over and time for prince Charming's entry. 😍
