Honestly I don't know how to answer her... I didn't really think about how to go about this when I got back. Originally it was all a gamble to begin with so I couldn't really make a plan.
I think she'll be upset regardless of what answer I give her in this predicament. All I can do is accept the consequences of my actions I guess.
"I'm sorry," I say genuinely.
She just lets out a sigh before standing up and wiping the tears from her cheeks.
"It'll be okay. I think we should clean up this room for now," Airi replies while looking around the room.
I give her a nod before getting some stuff to help clean everything up.
An hour or two goes by and the room doesn't look like a massacre happened in here anymore. Airi is still pretty upset with me but she also seems to be relieved that I'm alive.
The new feeling still hasn't gone away either.
"It really is shocking that you made it back," She speaks up.
