6 Weeks before the sun suddenly disappeared.
"What the hell do you know?" A man asks with anger in his voice.
"Hell itself is on the way, I don't really want to take my chances. Can we finish the walls in time or not?" Another man responds with frustration.
"Yeah we can finish the damn walls. What are you hoping to keep out anyway, we haven't seen any problems in years," The man says.
Both of the men appear to be wearing nice suits, one holding a clipboard while the other is holding a laptop.
"I really hope this is all worth it James," The man replies before walking away.
"It will be Chris, it will be," James says as he opens up the laptop.
A countdown seems to be going on the computer with a small icon that resembles a sun is next to it.
The look of fear lingers on his face for a few moments before everything disappears.
The Day The Sun Disappeared...
James is seen running around in a panicked state as he turns on the computer again.
The timer is no longer ticking down and has completely reached 0 for all categories of time. With that he looks over to the button in the corner of his office.
"The gates need to be closed... Nothing can get in here... Nothing!!" He shouts as he rushes over for the button.
Smash!!
After slamming his fist onto the button a bunch of sirens can be heard blaring from all around the city, warning the people of the closing gates.
It begins to cause everyone to panic as no one understands what is happening or why this is happening.
The door slams open as Chris stands there, holding a gun in his hand.
"What the hell is happening James?!?! Why are you closing the damn gates!" He shouts with anger in his voice.
"The sun is no longer shining and you ask me why I closed the gates? I want to keep everyone safe," James responds while looking out his window.
As he stares out the window he begins to notice people screaming as something appears to be tearing through flesh in the streets.
One after another he begins to witness the death of people that can't run away from anything here.
The gates are completely closed, forcing people to stay inside.
"People are killing themselves to try to get out!! Don't you understand that it backfired?!?!" Chris shouts.
Tear!!!! Rip!!!!!
The sound of flesh being torn apart from behind him is all James can hear. Grunts of pain and blood hitting the floor is next.
He turns around to see Chris lifted in the air before he gets ripped in half by an all black creature with a distorted jaw, long black claws, and an extremely tall figure.
Before James can say anything, he immediately begins to get torn apart by the same creature... Leaving blood splattered all over the office and along the windows.
A city that was destined to fail from the beginning.
