Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Where's the Conspiracy Theory?

After Hanabi left, Mizuki impatiently sought out Naruto.

And the bullet comments below were flooding the screen.

During Hanabi and Naruto's conversation earlier, the camera had shown Mizuki several expressions as if he had eaten something foul.

[Mizuki: Anxious! Anxious! Anxious!]

[I bet two coins this guy wants to cause trouble!]

[Did Lady Hanabi notice this guy?]

[From my many years of watching anime, this guy is definitely a villain, no doubt.]

"Hanabi, aren't you coming home?"

After saying goodbye to Naruto, Hyuga Hiashi and Hinata were ready to go back, but Hanabi didn't want to.

"Hmm, I graduated today, so I plan to wander around Konoha."

As Hanabi spoke, she wiggled her ankle.

Today she wasn't wearing geta, but rather zori with matching black lacquer, painted with red strings and red soles. Today was graduation, and zori were more formal than geta, also suitable for the current graduation scene. Actually, she had originally wanted to change into another pair of Arrow feather zori more suitable for the graduation ceremony, but they didn't match her outfit, so Hanabi still used this pair of matching black and red zori.

"Should Natsu accompany you?" Hiashi asked.

"No need, I'm just... I can only remember Konoha this way."

Hanabi smiled.

Hiashi and Hinata were both silenced at the same time.

Hanabi couldn't see and couldn't use her Byakugan to scan her surroundings, so she could only measure the entire Konoha in this way.

However, this was just a "reason."

In reality, Hanabi had already seen the layout of Konoha inside and out.

But without a "reason," it would be difficult to get involved in difficulties and change fate.

This was also what Hanabi had discovered and summarized over the years.

If there was a "reason," changing fate would be much simpler than forcefully "enduring" it.

A "reason," sometimes, is like a lever, capable of using one part of strength to move ten parts of fate.

Simply put, it requires "acting according to circumstances."

And now, she had a "reason"—"wanting to remember Konoha"—which made it very convenient to appear in the picture.

Otherwise, if she suddenly appeared in front of Naruto, it would be inconvenient.

The privilege of "changing the script" as she pleased belonged to the protagonist, and she was merely a "supporting character."

What happened next goes without saying.

Mizuki tricked Naruto into stealing the book of seals.

And Naruto, foolishly believing it was a "makeup exam," went.

At Sandaime's house, Naruto was even discovered by Sandaime, but then Sandaime was knocked out by one of Naruto's Sexy Jutsu.

"This is content from the manga."

In the manga, Sandaime discovered Naruto when he was stealing the scroll, but in the anime, this scene was moved to later.

"That's great, it seems it's not entirely the anime version of Hokage."

Hanabi had noticed before that there were many clues in this world related to the anime version of Hokage. She had originally thought that most of this world would "restore" the anime version of Hokage. Now, seeing this "manga version setting," she was somewhat moved.

At least regarding the evaluation of the final boss, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, Hanabi felt that the anime version's setting was incredibly low-tier.

Hanabi didn't dislike the differences between the anime and manga versions. It's just that being so low-tier wasn't just a minor thing; it lowered her own prestige!

Hanabi hoped for more interesting content. An unknown Stage of fate was the most intriguing.

For example, Uchiha · My Wife · Hikari, who appeared in the Hokage games, is also a very classic character. If there were Hokage game settings here too, that would be quite interesting.

"Next, I just need to find Naruto."

Finding Naruto was quite simple. As the "protagonist" of this story, Naruto was currently in the video.

The area where Naruto was located was most likely around the forest, a place Mizuki had told Naruto about, so it had a certain level of concealment, but Iruka was able to find him, indicating that it wasn't a completely deserted area.

Once a few targets were locked, it was easy to find them by comparing the houses and geographical features in the video background.

—It sounds complicated, but this kind of intelligence analysis is a Ninja's basic skill.

When Hanabi found Naruto, Naruto was gasping for breath, hugging a scroll.

The video had previously shown Naruto complaining that Shadow Clone was his worst Ninjutsu after seeing the first "Multiple Shadow Clone," so Naruto was probably practicing this Ninjutsu now. But seeing how Naruto was resting here, he had probably already mastered it.

"Oh, what a coincidence, Naruto."

Hanabi's voice suddenly appeared behind Naruto.

"Whoa, it's Hanabi, you scared me!"

Naruto was startled by the voice.

"Why are you here?" Hanabi asked, feigning ignorance.

Naruto looked left and right, then smiled mysteriously: "You'll know tomorrow. This is Uzumaki Naruto's top-secret mission time now."

Naruto took Mizuki's words seriously, thinking this was truly a secret "makeup exam."

"But why are you here, Hanabi?" Naruto asked again.

"Well, because I'm about to become a Ninja, to commemorate it, I plan to walk all over Konoha and really remember this place," Hanabi said.

"I say, I say, Hanabi, if you wear clothes like that, you won't finish even if you walk until tomorrow," Naruto grumbled.

"Actually, my walking speed is quite fast—" Hanabi's voice suddenly came from beside his ear.

Naruto looked again, and Hanabi wasn't in front of him; she was right beside him!

"Whoa!!!" Naruto was startled, falling back onto the ground with a thud, shouting, "Don't always play tricks on me like this!"

This wasn't the first time.

"I see. book of seals." Hanabi tilted her head, "Naruto, what exactly are you doing?"

Hanabi, of course, knew this was the book of seals.

But when she senses the outside world now, she releases Chakra around her body and then perceives everything around her. So, to know about the book of seals, she couldn't be too far away.

"Eh, when?!"

Naruto looked bewildered; the book of seals in his hand had already fallen into Hanabi's hands.

Hanabi was a little interested in the book of seals, but only "a little."

In the original work, the only Ninjutsu confirmed to be in the book of seals was Multiple Shadow Clone.

By the way, many people think that the space-time Ninjutsu, Flying Thunder God, would also be in the book of seals, but it actually isn't, because this Jutsu is neither forbidden nor harmful to the user; it simply has no successor.

Simply put, it's unlearnable.

It's like the Landau barrier is there; even a Nobel laureate would find it difficult to understand that "tutorial."

Edo Tensei is very likely to be there, but it doesn't align with Hanabi's self-positioning, so she's not interested.

The character setting can't be OOC; she's not some necromancer.

And just then, the Dimensional Popularity Stage's screen changed again, shifting to the Sandaime's side. The Sandaime was holding a crystal ball, using the Telescope Jutsu to remotely observe Naruto and Hanabi.

"As expected of the Hyuga Clan's genius. Her vigilance is truly astonishing."

The Third Hokage also breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Hanabi put away the book of seals.

Being knocked down by Naruto was a pure accident. He was worried that Naruto would see the contents of the book of seals and learn from it to undo the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's seal.

As for the book of seals being in Hanabi's hands, the Sandaime wasn't worried. Her Byakugan could be said to have been lost because of Konoha. In a sense, Hanabi could even be called "pure-blooded and true to the cause."

Hanabi herself, however, felt somewhat uninspired.

—What? What about the plot where the book of seals was supposed to be the Sandaime's "test" for Naruto, with all the conspiracy theories?

Why was there no conspiracy theory at all?

Was it really just carelessness?

If there's no conspiracy theory, how am I supposed to add to the drama?

Since there's no conspiracy theory, I'll add to the drama myself then.

In any case, I'll first copy a few Ninjutsu from the book of seals.

Yes, Flying Thunder God is not a Forbidden Jutsu, but Summoning Technique is a Forbidden Jutsu. Some say Flying Thunder God is a reverse summoning, but it hasn't been confirmed; at most, their principles are similar.

Eight Gates is also not a Forbidden Jutsu. Furthermore, the book of seals was sealed by the First Hokage, so any Jutsu created after the First Hokage's death would not be recorded in it.

Finally, the book of seals only appeared once in the manga, while in the anime, it was mentioned again in Mizuki's later storyline. But the only Ninjutsu confirmed to be recorded in it is Multiple Shadow Clone. So, based on the Sandaime's lines and inferences from the original work, I will include some reasonable Jutsu. Well, for Hanabi, though, the book of seals isn't important.
