Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 The Shadow of War

Frontline skirmishes escalated into conflict, with Kumogakure deploying Ninja troops into the Land of Hot Springs, which borders the Land of Fire; there were suspicions that the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki had appeared.

Upon hearing these reports, Muzuki knew that the Third Shinobi World War was not far off.

Or rather, it had already begun, just not yet in full swing.

As a Root Ninja, his original self knew more than ordinary Ninja.

Since White Fang's suicide last year, the Ninja World had been rife with undercurrents, with Kumogakure, Iwagakure, and Sunagakure all stirring.

When Muzuki was just watching anime, he felt that White Fang was no different from other famous powerhouses.

But after he accepted the original host's memories, he finally understood the true value of the title White Fang.

Others gained fame by drawing or winning against a well-known powerhouse; White Fang was different, he was famous for killing, for his extremely high killing efficiency.

Wielding a Chakra short sword, he transformed into a ruthless mowing machine on the battlefield; whether you were a Genin or a Jonin, one Flash of white light meant instant demise.

It wasn't that White Fang's strength surpassed everyone else's, making him the strongest in the Ninja World, but rather that his fighting style was particularly suited for 'bullying the weak'; anyone weaker than him could easily be instantly killed.

Seeing Konoha lose such a fierce warrior, other Shinobi Villages naturally coveted their position.

Especially Kumogakure and Iwagakure, because these two Shinobi Villages suffered very few losses in the Second Shinobi World War, and after developing until now, they felt they had the strength to challenge the number one spot.

"Those hateful Cloud Ninja, can't they just settle down? It feels like we're going to war again," Ueda Aya sighed.

"If White Fang-sama were still here, they certainly wouldn't dare to be so arrogant," Ikeya Yu said with some indignation.

"It's alright, we still have the Third Hokage and Orochimaru-sama, they will surely lead us to victory like before," Kimura Sugito tried to lighten the mood.

"If war breaks out, will our teachers also receive combat missions?" Muzuki asked the question he was most concerned about.

He didn't want to leave the Ninja Academy; although he could still get stronger by training on his own, it wasn't as satisfying as having a cheat.

"It depends on the intensity of the war; if it's too intense, some teachers might be assigned to various units based on their specialties," Ueda Aya replied.

Hearing Ueda Aya's words, Muzuki could only pray to God and the Dao Ancestor in his heart, hoping that he would be chosen later, or ideally not at all.

Because in the Third Shinobi World War, Konoha fought against all Four Great Shinobi Villages, which was exceptionally fierce; at that time, they certainly wouldn't overlook the strength of Ninja Academy teachers.

Muzuki wasn't afraid of going to the battlefield; he was afraid of going to the battlefield before he had fully developed.

This Third Shinobi World War was truly perilous; first, the Five Great Ninja Villages fought each other to the death, and then Uchiha Madara and Black Zetsu were secretly plotting behind the scenes.

"Hayate-sensei, you don't need to worry about that. We are the number one Shinobi Village; it's impossible for the war to get so bad that our teachers have to go to the battlefield," Kimura Sugito had enough confidence in Konoha.

"I'm not worried about going to the battlefield; I was just asking, so I can be prepared for battle when the time comes," Muzuki said with a smile.

Although he didn't really want to go, he certainly couldn't say such a thing aloud.

Muzuki stopped talking and began practicing calligraphy until the class bell rang, then he walked towards Class 1, Grade 1.

Muzuki looked into the classroom from the doorway; the shadow of war had not affected the children's joy, and the classroom was filled with a cheerful atmosphere.

"Brother, how did my brilliant plan work out? Did you manage to completely subdue your cousin?" Two days had passed, and Izumo Kamizuki was curious about Kotetsu Hagane's results.

"Sigh, don't even mention it, brother. Your plan was good, but my cousin is just too cunning! After I followed your plan, he actually took the exact same action against me!" Kotetsu Hagane said with a depressed look.

At first, it was indeed very effective, causing his cousin to be scolded severely by their aunt, but what he didn't expect was...

Before he could take the next step, his cousin directly retaliated with his own method; he was a child, and his cousin was only one year older than him, so he was also considered a child.

The final result was that both of them went back and forth, getting scolded and hit, and finally they had to declare a truce and jointly label this malicious scheme as an unusable "Forbidden Ninjutsu."

"There is such a cunning person," Izumo Kamizuki said with some emotion.

"Your cousin is truly cunning; I can't think of any more plans for now," Izumo Kamizuki said apologetically.

"It's okay, Izumo, you've given me several ideas already. Why don't you tell me about your troubles, and I'll help you share the burden," Kotetsu Hagane prepared to repay the favor.

"I have a neighbor girl I really like, but I don't know how to get closer to her," Izumo Kamizuki hesitated for a moment, but finally spoke up.

"That's simple, just give her something she likes," Kotetsu Hagane suggested.

Izumo Kamizuki thought about it and felt it made sense, "I've noticed she often looks at my family's flower garden when she passes by, so she probably likes flowers a lot, and their family doesn't seem to grow any."

"Then give her flowers! She'll definitely be very grateful," Kotetsu Hagane affirmed.

"Ahem, class is starting," Muzuki lightly coughed twice, reminding everyone that class had begun.

The somewhat noisy classroom instantly quieted down, with only Muzuki's lecturing voice.

Although they had only been together for four days, everyone liked Muzuki, their relaxed and interesting teacher, and would consciously listen.

[Lecture Completed]

[Evaluation: A]

[Reward: Water Release: Water Formation Wall]

Seeing the name of this Ninjutsu, information about Water Formation Wall flashed through Muzuki's mind.

This was a B-rank Water Release Ninjutsu, which created a wall of water in front of the user.

It's worth mentioning that Tobirama's Water Formation Wall was different from others; Tobirama's Water Formation Wall directly drew a circle, providing a 360-degree, dead-angle-free protection for himself.

Checking the knowledge that suddenly appeared in his mind, Muzuki discovered that he had mastered Water Release Chakra Nature Transformation, which he hadn't known before.

Muzuki thought about it and realized that if he wasn't given some Nature Transformation knowledge, he wouldn't be able to use Water Release at all.

Muzuki silently gave the thoughtful system a thumbs up.

After school, Muzuki took Shisui to the training spot he had found, by the small river in the southern forest.

"You've practiced Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique quite well. Today, I'll teach you a new Fire Release Ninjutsu," Muzuki said, outlining today's training plan.

After speaking, Muzuki clapped his hands together, then instantly opened his mouth and spewed out three giant fire dragons. Under Muzuki's control, the fire dragons circled in the sky before plunging directly into the water, evaporating a large amount of river water and causing the river surface to churn with white steam for a while.

"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique," Shisui recognized what Fire Release this was at a glance; he had seen a Uchiha Jonin perform this Ninjutsu.

Precisely because he recognized it, he was even more surprised, because Muzuki actually exhaled three fire dragons in one breath, and only formed one hand seal.

Shisui became increasingly curious about Muzuki's strength.

"Watch carefully, I'll demonstrate it for you again," Muzuki saw Shisui's expression and knew he had achieved the desired effect.

Terrible luck, my phone fell into the water, hope it's not broken.
