Chapter 19 - A Boy Trapped in Dream World – Season 3, Part 5: Magic Training

The next morning, King Roger—who was actually Charlie in disguise—spoke to the soldiers.

"I will teach you magic-based attacks," he said calmly.

"But before that, you must learn to calm your inner self. Only then will I teach you basic-level magic."

The soldiers were surprised, but also happy.

They had never imagined learning magic.

However, one man was not convinced.

Robert—who had served as a minister under King Adverd and now also served King Roger—began to think deeply.

I know King Roger, Robert thought.

He only had limited magic. How can he speak with such depth and confidence?

Who is he really?

From that moment on, Robert began secretly watching the King.

On the other side, Elvin was restless and troubled.

The Great Grand Master Roy had written about the secret of the Dream World Loop—but someone had stolen it.

Who took it? Elvin wondered.

And what exactly was written about the Dream World Loop?

Then he shook his head.

Why am I thinking about all this?

If I keep thinking, I will never learn the blue and black power of Misha.

He opened The Lily Black Magic Book once again and returned to basic-level training.

Meanwhile, while keeping an eye on King Roger, Robert noticed something strange.

A faint, unnatural light was coming from the King's room.

Carefully, Robert looked through a small window.

His blood ran cold.

King Roger—Charlie—was standing in his true form, speaking with another magician.

Robert trembled.

"My suspicion was right," he whispered.

"He is not King Roger. He is an evil magician."

At that moment, Charlie noticed him.

Robert tried to run.

But in the next instant, Charlie appeared in front of him.

"Where are you going, Minister Robert?" Charlie asked coldly.

Robert shouted,

"You are not the King! You are a fraud! You killed the real King!"

Charlie smiled.

"Oh?" he said calmly.

"And how will you prove that?"

"I saw you!" Robert yelled.

"You are a magician and a fraud! I will tell everyone!"

Charlie laughed softly.

"Hehehe…

Who will you tell—if you don't stay alive long enough?"

Then he leaned closer.

"Before you die, let me tell you something," Charlie said.

"I will manipulate the entire army of Stella.

They will be forced to obey only my command."

Hearing this, Robert became furious.

"I will never forgive you!" he shouted, and attacked Charlie.

But Charlie was a magician.

He dodged every attack with ease.

Desperate, Robert remembered the invisible attacks King Adverd had once taught him—back when he was weak.

Using everything he had left, Robert attacked.

But Charlie knew everything about invisible magic.

He dodged the attack effortlessly—

—and ended Robert's life.

Questions remain:

Why did Charlie say he would manipulate all of Stella's soldiers?

And does Wizard Ires already know about this plan?
