LIGHTNING CLASS TRAINING
Kenji informs Inochi that it's time to start training in the lightning element, noting it should be more straightforward since it's his second most favored nature, and he often merges it with his metal element.
When Inochi inquires about learning the metal element, Kenji explains that he cannot teach it to Inochi, as only he can wield it, especially given Inochi's origins in the Midori Clan.
Inochi responds, "awww man, that sucks," to which Kenji chuckles and advises Inochi to stay focused on the task at hand, shifting the conversation back to the lightning element.
Kenji mentions that Inochi already has the ability for the lightning element; he just hasn't attempted to use it yet.
He further explains that the lightning element can be combined with the water element, using the example of enhancing the power of a mini tsunami by adding lightning to it, making the combined attack significantly more powerful.
Inochi gets excited and exclaims, "Wow, that's cool, so where do we begin?"
LIGHTNING CLASS SHOCKWAVE!
Kenji states he will teach him a technique that will help him if he ever gets pressured in a situation he weaves and signs and extends his arms horizontally and says lightning class shockwave blasting out a wave of lightning around his body.
Kenji reflects and mentions that this strategy could be employed to create distance between you and your adversaries.
For instance, if you find yourself caught and immobilized, with an adversary preparing to strike, this method can be swiftly utilized to startle them into releasing you.
Inochi dazes off and starts pondering over a grand idea.
He exclaims, "Kenji Sensei, you are unparalleled.
Let's get started."
Kenji then guides Inochi through the hand signs for the Technique and cautions that while attempting this technique, to be vigilant.
He advises focusing his thoughts and envisioning a massive bolt of lightning, channeling the aura from his body to create a surge.
Inochi responds affirmatively, "Yes, Sensei."
Kenji steps back to observe as Inochi shuts his eyes and concentrates, imagining a bolt of lightning.
Unfortunately, he perceives a flash of golden aura accompanying the lightning.
He abruptly opens his eyes and exclaims, "Kenji Sensei, I saw it again - the Light."
Kenji seems stunned but continues to watch as Inochi once more closes his eyes, concentrates, and once again, visualizes the golden lightning aura.
He performs the necessary gesture and declares, "Lightning class shockwave," generating a minor shockwave of lightly colored lightning around himself.
Kenji is astonished by this display, his mind reeling from the sight.
He starts to realize that the light dragon's aura maybe appears to be synchronizing with Inochi's aura.
INOCHI THE GENIUS
Inochi then inquires, "How was that, Sensei?" Kenji then requires that what was actually impressive is that it seems the Light Dragon's aura maybe is cooperating with your aura granting Inochi to perform such Techniques.
Inochi starts to realize and says that when he closes his eyes and concentrates his aura on nature he feels the aura of the light dragon releasing it out Kenji states that infact Inochi is a genius.
He subsequently declares, "I will demonstrate how to merge your lightning with the mini tsunami."
COMBINING TECHNIQUES
Kenji performs a gesture to summon a miniature tsunami, generating a surge of water, follows with another gesture, extracts a kunai, and hurls a lightning-infused Kunai into the water.
Inochi witnesses the blend of water and lightning and exclaims, "Wow, so these are advanced techniques, huh?" Kenji, smiling, encourages him.
He then advises Inochi to take out a Kunai, and Inochi does so.
Next, Kenji instructs Inochi to channel the lightning nature into his palm and, upon sensing the spark, to release it and hurl it into a tree.
Inochi then reaches out his hand, holding the Kunai.
As he concentrates, channeling the aura into his palm, he starts to experience a surge and witnesses a lightning bolt.
He targets a tree and with maximum speed, hurls the attack, causing damage to it.
Inochi remarks, "So this is what lightning class power feels like; it's incredibly quick and inflicts significant damage."
Kenji responds by affirming, "You're right, but it's crucial to exercise caution when employing it in combat.
THUNDERBOLT BULLET
Inochi states cool attack i shall call it "Lightning class Thunderbolt bullet" Kenji responds great name for a technique.
If you fail to stabilize your aura before launching the attack, it could end up being futile."
ENOUGH WORK TIME TO EAT
He now informs Inochi that their training for the day is sufficient.
He inquires if Inochi would like to go out for a meal after the exhaustive training session.
Inochi responds affirmatively, expressing a desire to do so.
Subsequently, Kenji leads Inochi to a sushi restaurant where he selects a bowl of miso ramen for himself, while Inochi opts for egg rolls and rice balls.
INOCHI'S THOUGHTS
As they were enjoying their meal, Kenji leaned towards Inochi, eager to hear his views on his team.
Inochi didn't hesitate to share his deep admiration for his team members, especially Tosuke, whom he not only called his closest ally but also his fiercest competitor.
He admitted that Tosuke often outshines him with his superior strength.
Kenji remarked that the rivalry between Inochi and Tosuke was constructive, pushing them both to develop their resilience and capabilities.
Steering the conversation in another direction, Inochi brought up Rai, characterizing him as the comedic relief of the group who effortlessly brings laughter, even in tough situations.
Despite Rai's fondness for ribbing him, Inochi sees him as a cherished companion.
Then, Kenji nudged Inochi to speak about Kurai. After a moment of thought, Inochi confessed his instinctual urge to safeguard Kurai.
He observed that initially, she was reserved and timid, hinting at a troubled past before she arrived in the village, yet he sensed there was something more beneath the surface.
He likened his bond with her to an ever-present shadow, indicating a meaningful, possibly fated connection.
His admission of caring deeply for Kurai caught Kenji off guard.
Nonetheless, Kenji soon understood that it wasn't just the dragon aiding Inochi in his training, but his earnest desire and commitment to protect someone important to him.
Kenji, moved by Inochi's openness, praised him, asserting that his determination and affection would be invaluable assets in the forthcoming exams.
Inochi grins and proceeds to finish his meal.
As Kenji empties his ramen bowl, Inochi taps his belly, expressing, "That was fantastic; I'm full.
Thanks for the meal, Kenji Sensei."
Kenji responds with, "You're welcome. It's time to rest.
When I complete the mission, I'll be able to support you further."
Inochi, with a smile, replies, "You're the greatest, Kenji Sensei.
I aim to exceed you one day." With a smile, Kenji strokes Inochi's head and affirms, "I believe you will. Let's head out."
They then set off together.
