Chapter 1 - The Isolated World

Kim was sitting in his laboratory, surrounded by maps covered in symbols that no one else could understand. Suddenly, the ground trembled beneath his feet, and a swirling portal glowing in blue and purple appeared in the corner of the room. After a moment, the light pulled him into another world, and he found himself in a dense forest he had never seen before.

As he wandered among the trees, he noticed the entrance of a dark cave nearby. He decided to approach and explore it cautiously, entering slowly. The place seemed abandoned. On the ground, a human skeleton lay near an old, abandoned cart, next to a strange dark stone.

Kim approached the stone and tried to examine it, but he could not understand its nature or purpose. On the walls, he noticed three strange inscriptions

A full moon glowing with faint light

The shape of a creature he did not recognize

Writing in an unfamiliar language

There was also a space in the center, possibly meant for placing a stone or tool. Kim tried to read the symbols but could not comprehend their meaning. He decided to continue forward along the passages, feeling both curiosity and caution.

Suddenly, a bright flash erupted from the dark stone, unlike anything he had ever seen. It was not an ordinary light but a glowing darkness pulsating with unstable energy, like a silent warning. Kim froze, feeling a strange weight pressing on his chest. The air around him felt heavy, and the silence in the cave grew so deep that he could almost hear his own heartbeat.

He whispered anxiously,

What is happening…?

The flash grew stronger, and a dark thread wrapped around his hand, spreading quickly over his entire body. He felt no pain, only a strange sensation as if his very existence was fading. In an instant, Kim vanished. He no longer cast a shadow on the ground, nor a reflection on the rocks, and even his voice disappeared as if the cave had swallowed him completely.

Inside this invisible space, Kim still stood, able to see the cave and hear its sounds, but invisible to the world around him. The dark stone's pulse was calmer this time, as if warning him or offering protection. Kim swallowed slowly, realizing that the stone had hidden his presence to protect him from the danger approaching.

Then, he saw a mysterious figure standing before him, motionless like stone. It wore dark armor with irregular edges that seemed to grow around its body, absorbing the light. Its face was covered by a mask that obscured the eyes, yet Kim felt its gaze penetrate him directly. The figure did not move or speak, but the pressure Kim felt was enough to make his breath heavy.
