Chapter 3 - Truly electrifying welcome

WN: Hey guys, if any. I'm back!...much early, and without improving the skills, hehe. I'll write everything as I can. And I am gonna change my style to third person, because our MC won't make fun of himself.

...

'Something is coming…'

The boy ran and hid behind a bush. But what he saw was clearly unexpected. The first person he met wasn't even a proper person, nor a dangerous animal, but a full-metal robot!

It was double his size. It had two red strips on the left side of its body glowing bright, and a collar-like structure on the neck which was hiding their mouth. Other characteristics were similar to that of a normal person. Two hands, two legs, two eyes, but it didn't have a nose, nor ears.

Moving on its two legs just like a human, it stopped right where the boy had stood. Its two eyes lit like torches as it looked around, and finally it rested its eyes on him. They both stood silent. Suddenly the light turned from yellow to red, and an emergency alarm sounded from it. The boy felt something dangerous. He ran away from there into the dark forest at night. The robot ran behind him with the same speed.

Before he could realise anything, the robot started shooting bullets from the launchers which came out of his shoulders on both the sides.

The boy tried to dodge all the bullets. He ran left and right, slipped from under fallen barks and jumped over rocks. But he still got shot by 1 bullet on his back on the upper left side.

He swallowed the pain and ran with the same speed, then finally went through a large bush. The robot chased him into the bush. But on coming outside, it found itself all alone. It started scanning everywhere again.

As it moved a few steps away from the bush, a strong wooden stick swung from left and dashed it on its head from the back. The robot received a deep dent on his head, but it resulted in the breaking of the stick into two halves.

" It's so sad losing a dear stick"

The robot looked back to find the boy kick him and land from the air on his knee maintaining a safe distance. It placed its fist forward and a little capsule emerged from his arm, containing a small missile. The designs on the pupil of the robot started changing as it aimed at him and fired the small missile with a little recoil.

The boy threw the remnants of his dear stick which collided with the missile to lead to an unplanned mid-way explosion.

The smoke slowly settled and the boy was nowhere to be found again. The robot really got frustrated this time and launched as many missiles as it could in every direction. The explosions resulted in a thick white smog again. The boy who had hid behind a large tree remained safe, while the tree fell down from the bottom of the trunk with a great thud. He took advantage of the smog and tried to get behind his enemy. He jumped on the robot 's shoulders from the back. He poured all his energy in his arms and twisted the neck of the robot 180 degrees.

The robot shut down. The light glowing from the two red strips dimmed in the dark environment.

" Wow, I do really have some fighting skills! Didn't expect my moves to be so sharp and perfect." he said to himself with a proud smile.

But he noticed something wrong with the dead robot. The system inside it generated little current and then self-destructed itself as it blasted into million pieces like a firecracker, throwing its pieces in all directions.

The boy was also thrown away at a long distance. He rolled across the ground and was finally stopped by the fallen tree. He truly felt a lot of pain now. His body was covered in wounds. A piece of metal even got stabbed inside his chest. He carefully started removing it, his hands shivering with pain as he gasped his breath.

" The way I am acting, I definitely don't look like a 10 years old kid. Damn it… this hurts."

He removed it and kept it beside him.

He realized he had got shot on his back, but there was no sign of blood loss or pain from that area. He felt it weird. He touched his back but still no pain.

' Did I just imagine the bullet being hit?' he thought.

His senses started to dull from the moment. He couldn't move his body and felt sleepy. He had to put in a lot of effort to just keep his eyes awake. He knew once his eyes closed, he would fall asleep.

'So it was a bullet to make me unconscious. Did it know it won't stand a chance? Maybe that's why it sent the emergency signal that time. It was more clever than I am. I…dont wanna sleep right now…there is danger nearby…' his thoughts dwindled. Suddenly there were more torches in the area where the robot ended itself.

'Another allies of it?... I… I need to hide…come on…damn it, why does my body switch off at important occ…a…s..s..i..o…n..s…." his body became empty and his eyes started closing. In his final sight, he found some three to five robots of the same kind coming near him, armed with guns.

'I am doomed…' he thought in his final moments and gave up the efforts to remain awake, going into deep slumber.

The robots stood before him, communicating between themselves through different frequencies. They finally decided to take him alive, to somewhere miles away. One of them took him by his collar and held him in his arm like a towel.

...

The boy woke up. He saw the robots take him somewhere. He tried to resist them and get out of their hold. But one of them pointed a gun on his head, threatening him to stay quiet.

He looked around. There was dense fog. It was the fog he saw earlier in the base of the mountain. They were taking him to the castle.

There was no tree. Only a grassland. Suddenly, the robot dropped him down.

"Owchh!"

" The boy stood up, the gun still pointing towards him. He remained still and silent, anger still visible in his brown eyes. The robot handcuffed him and pulled him with a chain.

"Looks like they just want me to walk by myself." he thought, " but the castle was so high up, do I have to walk all the way there? And how long was I unconscious? I'm starting to feel hungry again. Looks like the wounds have closed up, but they still hurt a little bit."

After some time, they reached a massive iron gate, at least forty times taller than the boy. It was surrounded by an even more tall grey wall of bricks. The top of it was hidden by the fog. The black gate had many spikes on it for protection purposes, and a large keyhole. The gate opened, just enough to let them pass. The boy was admiring the greatness of the structure. He stopped, looked at the truly detailed carvings and statues of beautiful ladies and strong men erected on both sides of the gate.

"So awesome…" The robot pulled the chain again.

He saw inside the gate, there was nothing at all. Only a black wall. The boy touched it with his finger. The wall rippled like water. The robots started walking towards the black wall and soon disappeared into it. The boy couldn't understand what was happening, until the chain connected to his handcuffs stretched to pull him inside too.

He closed his eyes in fear and went inside.

Raising his head and opening his eyes slowly, he was surprised to see himself in a town. No one was around, only a couple of more robots who were talking to the other five. That took him ahead. He turned back to see an open gate with the same black wall in it, but smaller in size.

The long brick wall was no longer there. The gate was at the edge of a cliff. The fog was far below the cliff. They had teleported from the base to above. He saw the glimpse of the place from where he entered into this world, far away.

'So that's where I came from.'

He went ahead. The sky was completely black with no stars. The town was barren, no person, no lights in any house, all silence.

After sometime, they reached the gate of the main castle. It was quite big.

As expected, the guards threw him inside a large room. They pressed a button outside and many bars of laser appeared on the open side. It was a cage, a prison.

He touched the bars in order to get out. In doing so, he got struck with a huge lightning, and fell down the opposite side.

" it's no use." Said a voice behind him.
