Cael continued his search for mirror pieces among the black spires.
Day after day, he moved through the crimson landscape, low and silent, collecting fragments of broken mirrors. Each piece he found, he would bring back to his shelter, probe it with his mana, and enter the mirror realm. And each time, another mirror would glow with golden light.
The process was repetitive, almost mechanical. Find a piece. Return to shelter. Enter the mirror realm. Touch the corresponding mirror. Wake up. Repeat. But Cael did not complain. He understood the importance of this trial. The artifact was waiting for him at the end of this path.
He worked methodically, avoiding the crimson titan's relentless rampage. The titan still roamed the core zone, his massive form destroying anything in his path. His roars echoed across the crimson plain, a constant reminder of the danger that lurked nearby.
