That tragic scene went on for several minutes. The noble demons in the audience shuddered in fear as they witnessed Issei's brutality.
"Onii-sama, please stop Issei!" Rias begged her older brother, Sirzechs Lucifer, for help.
Sirzechs nodded solemnly. Just as he was about to move, the silhouette of a beautiful blonde woman flew swiftly toward the battlefield.
"Stop! Don't kill my older brother!"
She screamed in panic, landing between Issei and Riser.
She stretched both arms out as if to hold Issei back, her expression firm and fearless even as tears continued to stream down her small cheeks.
Issei snapped back to his senses, glanced at the dying Riser, then murmured softly, "Looks like I went too far."
He looked at the doll-like beauty standing in front of him, guilt stirring when he saw the tears on her face.
'What have I done?'
Issei released his Balance Breaker and returned to wearing his Kuoh Academy uniform.
"I'm sorry. I got carried away," Issei said in a remorseful tone.
"Huh?" The beautiful woman froze. Before she could ask anything, Issei stepped closer and pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the remaining tears from her face.
"Once again, I'm sorry. Come to me if you ever need help."
"Haa..." The beautiful woman nodded blankly, looking dazed as if she couldn't understand what had just happened.
"Hurry and treat your older brother. Even if he has an immortal power, he can suffer permanent injuries if he isn't dealt with immediately."
"Ah!" The beautiful woman flinched, turned around, and took out a Phoenix Tear, then dripped it onto Riser's body.
A miracle happened. Riser immediately recovered as if nothing had happened, without a single wound left behind—except for his clothes, which were now in complete disarray like a beggar's.
Issei let out a breath, then turned to look at the Gremory family, returning Asia's wave.
There were no cheers for Issei's victory, only countless whispers from demons expressing their fear of him.
Issei ignored them and walked back to the Gremory family's side.
"Rias-senpai, I won."
Rias pouted, not looking happy at all.
"Hm? Did I make a mistake?"
Rias sighed, crossing her arms beneath her large chest, then shook her head with a helpless expression.
"No, you did well. But I think you did too well, to the point it might cause problems."
"I see. The noble demons must not be happy about my existence."
Rias gave a bitter smile and nodded, confirming Issei's words.
Issei wanted to comfort her, but if he provoked the noble demons any further, the Gremory family would surely become a target.
Issei wasn't afraid of any noble demons, except those with super demons like Sirzechs Lucifer or Ajuka Beelzebub.
"Rias, you don't need to think about this. What Issei did deserves praise, because it's enough to stir excitement in some of the noble demons."
Rias turned to her brother with a doubtful expression.
"What do you mean, Onii-sama?"
Sirzechs gave a small smile and answered casually, "You'll understand later."
"..." Rias fell silent, irritated by her brother's mysterious answer.
"Alright then. Since Issei-kun won, that means you're now free from your engagement to Riser."
Hearing Sirzechs' words, Rias nodded with a relieved smile, looking at Issei with deep gratitude wrapped in a faint trace of love.
Under everyone's shocked stares, Rias ran forward and hugged Issei.
"Thank you, Issei."
Issei froze, then became intoxicated by the sweet fragrance coming from Rias' body.
He gathered his courage and placed his hands on Rias' waist.

Rias pulled her face closer, then kissed Issei on the lips.

Sirzechs and Zeoticus chuckled softly, turning around and waiting for Rias to finish kissing Issei.
"It's nice being young," Zeoticus Gremory said.
"Isn't Father always young?" Sirzechs Lucifer teased.
"Hahaha! Of course."
