Long before the night of fire, before the village screamed, two lives were born quietly.
Rain fell softly outside a small house.
Inside, a woman cried out in pain.
Then a baby cried.
"It's a boy," someone said.
The newborn was calm. His eyes were clear and steady. When he cried, the strong wind outside slowly settled.
They named him Ji Young.
Years passed.
On another quiet night, the same house felt different.
Candles flickered for no reason. The air felt warm, almost alive.
A second child was born.
"It's a girl," the midwife whispered.
The baby did not cry. She smiled softly.
For a brief moment, a gentle light shimmered around her tiny hands, then vanished.
They named her Ji Min.
No one noticed the light. No one understood its meaning.
Ji Young grew up strong and protective. Whenever Ji Min fell, he was there first.
Ji Min grew gentle and quiet. Sometimes, she stared at the sky as if listening to a distant call.
Their parents believed they were normal children.
But fate had already chosen.
Far away, beyond mountains and time, something ancient stirred.
"The Light has returned," a voice whispered in the darkness.
"And the Guardian is beside it."
Two siblings. Two destinies.
