Chapter 55: The Professional Talents and Skills of a Martial Artist

In this regard, Mo Yu was relatively cautious and deliberated for a long time.

To step into the realm of the Absolute Realm, the first thing one must complete is the unification of Purity—that is, "Purity entering the brain," thoroughly integrating all changes of body and mind. This was unquestionable, as it was the most vital point of the Purity system.

Whether Soul Reaper, Hollow, or Quincy, they all had their own powers and development directions before this step. But after stepping into the Absolute Realm, they effectively "re-classed" into Fullbringers known as "Martial Artists." Purity, the low-level Fullbring created by the Hogyoku, became their most essential and core power!

However, achieving "Purity entering the brain" was not easy. It wasn't as simple as a patient in a psychiatric ward raving in madness; it required conviction and resolve, or an equivalent level of collapse and despair. It required a peak fluctuation of spirit and will, whether directed upward or downward.

Both Orihime and Chad awakened under extreme circumstances, and other Fullbringers in the original story possessed tragic backstories and painful experiences. This showed that Fullbring power had extremely harsh requirements for one's disposition and spirit.

The threshold for the Absolute Realm was too high, which didn't fit Mo Yu's requirements. Thus, he planned to lower it. In terms of practical implementation, Ichigo Kurosaki provided much inspiration.

Ichigo had refined the departed will of Fisher and turned it into the "Heavenly Fist," slamming it into Kenpachi Zaraki's body as a spiritual inheritance. Mo Yu found this maneuver valuable. He planned to use the Hogyoku to replicate similar operations, using the "Golden Spirit" condensed by senior Martial Artists to provide personal instruction to successors.

Successors could, through this process, realize the meaning of Purity and comprehend their own Absolute Will, allowing them to step into the Absolute Realm faster and better.

A Hollow's talent is [Soul Devouring]; they are born knowing how to eat souls to grow. A Quincy's bloodline talent is [Reishi Manipulation]; once awakened, they gain combat techniques from their blood. Now, Mo Yu tailored a professional talent for Martial Artists called [Absolute Will]. As long as one was infected by Purity, they could absorb combat techniques, spirit, conviction, and power from the Golden Will of their seniors.

Mo Yu positioned the Martial Artist as the "Version Answer"—a class ahead of all others in the current world in every aspect. The birth of [Absolute Will] highlighted this: other professions required formal education and hard training; Martial Artists did not.

As long as one was infected by Purity, in every midnight dream or even a casual moment of distraction, they would see a group of powerful, "macho" Martial Artists wearing "cheerful" and "enthusiastic" smiles, working tirelessly and selflessly to pass on the Golden Spirit of a fighter.

However, Mo Yu wasn't a demon. Ichigo slamming Fisher's will into Kenpachi to force him into an endless war where losing meant being "violently lectured" by a pervert was a bit much. Mo Yu planned to optimize this.

According to Mo Yu's calculations, driven by [Absolute Will], a Martial Artist could engage in passive or even "AFK" (Away From Keyboard) cultivation. Even if they lay still all day, they could grow stronger through the spiritual inheritance of senior fighters. After all, Purity was an idealistic power; changes in the mental realm could fully drive changes in reality and the physical body.

With the entry-level problem solved, next was the progression process. Currently, the manifestations of Martial Artists in the Absolute Realm were a mixed bag.

Take 1% Absolute Realm as an example: some gained a surge in Reishi, some gained physical reinforcement, some increased power efficiency, and some mutated their limbs into weapons. These weren't "bad"—they were using Purity to mine potential—but Mo Yu felt this was inefficient and failed to showcase the core competitiveness of the system.

Some fighters, however, did excellently. At 1%, they gained the talent of Weapon Mastery. Although it didn't directly buff combat stats, they used the idealistic nature of Purity to create advanced techniques like the Indestructible Golden Body or the Reishi War God. Their actual combat power was far superior.

Mo Yu decided to unify this. Upon reaching 1% Absolute Realm, through the directional guidance of Purity, the first core professional skill for all Martial Artists would be replaced with [Complete Realm]. This skill provided no direct combat power; it was a permanent passive buff, but a terrifyingly strong one.

Because Mo Yu replicated it directly from Ichigo Kurosaki.

The attributes of this passive were simple: unshakeable combat will, explosive combat intelligence, and peerless power application. One could understand others' techniques at a glance and, after a brief exchange, innovate those techniques for their own use. They could also create any derivative skill they desired through daily study or even a certain degree of "I reckon" logic.

[Complete Realm] was extraordinary. Mo Yu estimated most fighters wouldn't reach Ichigo's level, resulting in a degraded version, but even at 10% effectiveness, it was far superior to lower-tier skills like skin hardening or limb mutation.

Mo Yu set the next core skill at 30% Absolute Realm, a figure derived from observing Uryu Ishida.

Before 20%, it was relatively safe. Every percentage point after that approached one's limit. 30% was the "Over-Limit" realm. Every point further was essentially gambling with one's life—and whether one could even gamble depended on their potential. Fisher had reached a bottleneck at this stage, forced to burn his life for one final burst.

In terms of talent and potential, Uryu was far stronger than Fisher. (Ichigo, of course, was an outlier who never had to "dig" for potential; his 50% output was power he already possessed but was being suppressed).

At 30%, Mo Yu bestowed the second core talent: [Reishi Recomposition]. This was based on the "death metamorphosis" Uryu was currently undergoing.

Through Omniscience, Mo Yu saw that this wasn't just physical strengthening; it was an overhaul and sublimation of the life source through indomitable will. Once crossed, all shackles on one's existence—limits, fate, and even death—would be shattered and reorganized, pushing the user to grow stronger indefinitely. It was a miraculous defiance of fate.

At this point, Mo Yu could finalize the professional titles:

Amateur Fighting Enthusiast: Those comprehending Absolute Will but yet to reach the Absolute Realm.

Professional Martial Artist: Those who have reached the Absolute Realm.

Powerhouse Martial Artist: Those who have mastered [Reishi Recomposition] and possess their own unique title.

The framework was still incomplete, with much room for refinement, but Mo Yu's gaze was already on a more distant horizon. Currently, the Purity system was an evolution of the Bleach world's native power. Thus, it had a limit. Mo Yu predicted that after [Reishi Recomposition], the path from 30% to 90% was wide open.

But the realm after 90% was a different story. It wasn't that the Martial Artist hit a limit, but that the low-level Fullbring of Purity hit its own limit. Even the Hogyoku couldn't modify reality indefinitely. To sublimate the Absolute Realm into "Ultimate Power," Mo Yu needed more time to plan.

The 1.0 Open Beta update was a "live hot-fix." As Mo Yu thought, the Hogyoku inside Rukia flickered, spreading invisible ripples to carry out his will.

In a quiet room, Byakuya Kuchiki suddenly snapped his eyes open. He sensed nothing specific, but attributed it to his own restless mind. The Soul King's Secret Decree was too heavy a matter. He had spent the day arguing with elders and vassals. He had found a hidden room to rest and clear his thoughts.

He chose a secret location not to avoid outsiders, but because he was afraid a "nameless muscular giant" would burst in and forcibly modify his body with High-Purity Muscle Light.

Thinking of this, Byakuya felt a pang of sadness. He couldn't help but think of his late wife, Hisana, and her dying wish for him to protect Rukia. Just as he felt a wave of guilt, the door to the room slowly opened.

Byakuya instinctively moved for his sword, but froze as he looked up. A familiar cherry-blossom-colored kimono and a face identical to Rukia's—but softer and more elegant—met his gaze. He stammered:

"Hisana... is it you? Am I dreaming?"

Hisana's eyes were as gentle and quiet as in his memory. "Husband, you are indeed dreaming. I am not the real Hisana. I am a 'Golden Spirit' version of Hisana's war-soul, awakened from your memories by the World-Shaking Wisdom of the collective Martial Artists..."

Byakuya couldn't comprehend this. He went to ask more, but those gentle eyes suddenly turned sharp.

"Rather than talking with meaningless words, let us have a heart-to-heart with our fists! Husband, let me see your Purity! ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA...!!!"

What followed was a nightmare. Byakuya saw his petite, delicate wife's muscles swell violently as she unleashed a barrage of powerful heavy punches at him.

"AHHHHHHHH...!"

Even the stoic Byakuya screamed. He woke up with a start, realizing he was still sitting in the quiet room. It felt like a hallucination, yet his face still pulsed with the phantom pain of sandbag-sized fists.

"Why would Hisana become like that? Was it just a nightmare?"

The door opened again. Byakuya jumped like a startled bird. The nightmare continued: Hisana floated in, and the moment their eyes met, her gaze turned lethal. But this time, it was worse—Rukia stepped out from behind her. Both sisters' muscles swelled simultaneously as they roared:

"LET US SEE YOUR PURITY AS THE HEAD OF THE KUCHIKI CLAN!"

The nightmare continued...

On the day of the 1.0 Hot-Fix, everyone who had been in contact with Rukia—including the minor nobles—shared a similar dream. They were repeatedly pummeled by familiar faces, receiving "unreserved instruction" on the wonders of Purity.

This made the atmosphere in the Seireitei even more strained. The Gotei 13 were exhausted. The Captains didn't know which fire to put out first. But they realized their "Anchor," Captain-Commander Yamamoto, hadn't issued an order in a while.

When some went to check, they found him leaning on his cane, standing at the highest point of the 1st Division headquarters, looking down at the city. Back turned, he said flatly:

"These are merely trivial skirmishes. Handle them as you see fit. In a few days, everything will reach a conclusion. I am simply waiting for that day to arrive..."

Meanwhile, Ichigo Kurosaki strolled through the Seireitei like a tourist. Orihime followed him with a camera, snapping photos and chatting about the scenery. Hinamori followed further behind.

Ichigo responded occasionally, his eyes fixed on the highest point of the Seireitei with a gaze containing a dangerous flame. He asked:

"Inoue... how many days until Uryu Ishida's execution?"

Orihime gasped. "Ah! I was having so much fun I almost forgot! I think five days. Should we go save him now?"

Ichigo lowered his eyes. "Five days... that's quite a long time."

The world is complex, filled with overlapping wills and conspiracies. But sometimes it is simple—because only one or two people are qualified to make the final decision.

As in the Soul Society now: The old man stood indifferently; the boy strolled leisurely. They watched each other from across the distance, both thinking, both waiting for the decisive moment.

Five days passed in a flash.

On the day of execution, the Punishment Force (Onmitsukido) dressed in white, followed ancient protocols. Carrying soul-pacifying banners and ringing funeral bells, they brought the still-unconscious Uryu Ishida out of his cell and toward the execution grounds.

Ichigo did not go to save him. Instead, with his hands in his pockets and a look of pleasure as if heading for a date, he walked leisurely toward the highest point of the Seireitei.
