Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: An Unprecedented Golden Age

Walking out of the Capital, the Hagoromo Brothers quickly left the area.

Along the way, they both appeared very excited.

In a strict sense, this was the first time they had left the Capital alone.

In the past, Minamikawa Yuu had taken them out of the Capital to travel, but they were essentially always accompanied by others when doing so.

Now, however, it was just the two of them traveling alone.

Beside them, other than the two brothers themselves, there was no one else accompanying them.

For them, this was a first since the dawn of time, so they were naturally quite excited throughout the journey.

The scenery along the way was also a form of enjoyment for them.

As they traveled, they saw well-maintained roads everywhere, as well as many villages where commoners lived.

Several decades ago, these places would have been scenes of complete devastation.

War and famine—all sorts of natural disasters were fatal to those at the bottom; any random threat was incredibly cruel to them, enough to take many lives.

But now, under Minamikawa Yuu's rule, everything was much better.

Chakra had been popularized, and Chakra academies had been forcibly established in various places.

Under the influence of this power, many things became much more convenient to do.

For example, roads along the way could be easily leveled using Earth Release; with the aid of Chakra, the crop yields of farmlands everywhere had also greatly increased.

The development of industries in various regions drove massive employment, absorbing a vast population.

The changes brought by all this were monumental.

Although in Minamikawa Yuu's eyes, the current level was still insufficient, in the eyes of others in this world, this was undoubtedly a magnificent feat.

Before them was an unparalleled golden age. Hunger and war had basically been eliminated from the world; even the smallest child did not need to worry about food and clothing, nor did they need to fret over their own safety.

The Hagoromo Brothers shared this view in their hearts.

They were not ignorant of the outside world; they naturally knew of the Ninja World's past and exactly what kind of lives the people of the Ninja World used to lead.

Because of this, they held their father in high esteem, keeping him in the deepest part of their hearts.

"I heard that place used to be a battlefield, but now it has become a ruin..."

While passing by a site, their interest was piqued, and they walked onto the remains of the ancient battlefield, gazing out in all directions.

As far as the eye could see, there were newly cultivated farmlands everywhere.

Crops were growing within the fields, looking lush and green, which couldn't help but evoke a sense of satisfaction in one's heart.

Within the farmlands, there were also some hired academy Scholars working in various spots.

Unlike ordinary people, these academy Scholars were basically talents who had mastered Chakra.

After specialized training at the academies, they mastered skills in different fields and could use Chakra Ninjutsu to accomplish many things.

Speaking of Ninjutsu, this was another of Minamikawa Yuu's new contributions.

Ninjutsu in the Ninja World would originally have taken a long time to gradually mature; the earliest hand signs and Ninjutsu legends were supposed to trace back to the era of the Six Paths Sage's eldest son, Indra.

He was the one who invented Ninjutsu, laying the foundation for the development of Ninjas in subsequent eras.

But in this era, because of Minamikawa Yuu's arrival, the inventor of Ninjutsu had naturally changed.

In another world, although Minamikawa Yuu was merely an ordinary student at a Ninja academy, he still mastered basic techniques and hand signs.

With these things as a foundation, the development of Ninjutsu in this world was very rapid.

At this point in time, a large number of new types of Ninjutsu had already been invented and created, being used in all aspects of life.

Within the entire Land of Ancestors, there was even a relevant Patent Law now, used to protect the rights and interests of those inventors of new Ninjutsu.

The scholars the Hagoromo Brothers saw now were related to agriculture; their main work involved assisting agricultural production, using the power of Chakra for pest control or leveling the land and such.

Continuing further, they entered a city.

Compared to the rural areas, the changes within the city were even more immense.

Inside the city, various devices driven by Chakra as an energy source were placed; there were even many Chakra streetlights that could illuminate all the roads at night.

"The things over there seem pretty good..."

"There seems to be a lot of delicious food over there..."

Entering the urban area, the Hagoromo Brothers were quickly attracted by the sights everywhere, their eyes barely able to take it all in.

They looked around at the scenery in various places, somewhat reluctant to leave.

Traveling along the way, they spent several months touring and playing in various places, gaining many insights and experiences.

And this was precisely Minamikawa Yuu's purpose in specifically letting them go out for a walk.

In the eyes of ordinary people, this kind of travel was just a waste of time with no gains to speak of, purely playing around in different places.

But for Minamikawa Yuu, he was very happy that the Hagoromo Brothers could enjoy life and gain enough pleasure from these things.

Because for them, this could better maintain their humanity.

As children conceived after Kaguya consumed the chakra fruit, they naturally possessed pure Otsutsuki bloodlines and a portion of divinity within their bodies.

Possessing divinity was not a bad thing, but as a father, Minamikawa Yuu still hoped the two brothers could have more humanity and a bit of pure joy.

The time ahead was still very long; if there was nothing to maintain their humanity, something bad would likely happen over the vast span of time.

However, judging from the current results, the Hagoromo Brothers not only possessed humanity, but the part of them that was human even seemed a bit too thick.

Minamikawa Yuu didn't know whether this change was good or bad, so he could only let it develop on its own.

But from the current situation, the two brothers were getting along quite harmoniously.

Setting out from the royal Capital of the Land of Ancestors, they traveled through almost most of the Land of Ancestors' territory before finally stopping.

Finally, they arrived at a certain place.

Within the Land of Ancestors, this place was called a Holy Land and was a forbidden zone for most people.

In the entire Land of Ancestors, except for a few people, most others were not qualified to enter.

"This is..."

Under the vast scenery, Hagoromo looked up ahead, and at this moment, a hint of wonder inevitably surfaced in his eyes: "The Divine Tree..."

As the sons of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, the two of them felt an inexplicable sense of closeness to the Divine Tree.

Because the power itself shared the same source.

Especially Otsutsuki Hagoromo.

As the elder brother, what he inherited from Kaguya was more of the part originating from the Divine Tree; therefore, his affinity for the Divine Tree's power was even higher than that of his younger brother, Hamura.

Just standing here now, he immediately felt the change.
