Thor had an inexplicable, almost sweet, confidence in Loki, completely believing Loki's lies.

Darian couldn't be bothered to persuade him; maybe it was just their brotherly affection.

Just then, Coulson suddenly opened the door to the confinement room and said to Thor, "Someone is here to pick you up. You can leave now."

"I can go?"

Thor scratched his head in surprise and followed Coulson out.

"Hey, Dr. Donald, I'm here to take you back."

The one who came to pick up Thor was an astrophysicist named Dr. Selvig. He helped Thor forge a false identity to deceive S.H.I.E.L.D., unaware that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s system had already seen through it.

But Coulson didn't expose it and allowed Dr. Selvig to take Thor away.

Clint watched them leave and asked, "You're just letting them go?"

"There's no point in keeping Thor locked up here."

Coulson calmly replied, "Let's see what they plan to do first. Agent Darian, you'll be responsible for monitoring them next."

"Alright."

Darian also didn't want to guard that hammer every day, so he readily agreed.

Walking out of the Base, he bumped into a familiar bald man.

"Oh, isn't this Agent Sitwell?"

Darian walked forward to greet him. This bald man was indeed Agent Sitwell, whom he had met in Pierce's office.

[NPC: Sitwell]

[Affection: -30]

[Evaluation: HYDRA member]

"It's you."

Seeing Darian's arrival, Sitwell's expression was as if he had eaten something foul.

Clearly, he already knew that Darian had stolen his wallet back then.

Darian said enthusiastically, "Look at you, acting like a stranger. We're on the same side."

Sitwell narrowed his eyes and said cautiously, "I know we're both members of S.H.I.E.L.D., but we don't seem to be familiar with each other, do we?"

"Stop pretending."

Darian pouted, casually put his hand on Sitwell's shoulder, and whispered in his ear.

"Hail HYDRA!"

Sitwell's body stiffened abruptly. He frantically looked around, and only after confirming no one was paying attention did he let out a sigh of relief.

He glared angrily at Darian: "Are you crazy! What if we're exposed saying that in a place like this?"

Darian showed a displeased expression: "Why didn't you respond to the slogan? Could it be that you're a S.H.I.E.L.D. undercover Agent hidden within HYDRA?"

As he spoke, he pulled out his golden desert eagle from his embrace.

Sitwell: "...Hail HYDRA!"

"Very good, you're one of us."

Darian flicked his wrist, and the golden desert eagle disappeared.

Sitwell's mouth twitched.

If he couldn't beat Darian, he would have already turned hostile.

Darian put on a serious expression: "Now I have an important mission that requires your cooperation."

Sitwell asked doubtfully, "Cooperate with what?"

"It's simple, hand over your car and your wallet."

"..."

Sitwell was confused.

What kind of mission required his wallet?

Before he could speak, Darian whispered, "Hail HYDRA!"

Sitwell: "...Hail HYDRA!"

One of HYDRA's iron rules was not to question, which was their secret to lurking in S.H.I.E.L.D. for years without revealing any flaws.

As long as the slogan was shouted, they were on the same side and had to cooperate unconditionally.

Since Darian had already uttered the slogan, Sitwell could only grudgingly hand over his car keys and wallet.

Sitwell watched Darian walk away, feeling utterly terrible.

This was so inexplicable, why did it feel like he had been robbed?

Darian, who had discovered HYDRA's wealth code, drove Sitwell's car all the way to the small town of Puente Antiguo, dozens of kilometers away.

He didn't immediately go looking for Thor, but first found a hotel to stay in.

Well, the accommodation fee was naturally taken from Sitwell's wallet.

The next day, Darian found Thor in the town.

The God of Thunder was sitting in a pizza shop, devouring food with a satisfied expression.

Darian wasn't sure if it was his imagination, but he felt that Thor seemed a bit rounder than when he first saw him.

However, it was understandable, considering Thor basically had five meals a day in the confinement room, all of which were fried foods with extremely high calories. Coupled with Thor now being a mortal, a weight gain was very reasonable.

Beside Thor, besides Dr. Selvig from last night, there was also a long-haired woman and a bespectacled girl who looked like she would never get rich.

Darian walked directly into the pizza shop, pulled up a chair, and sat at their table, unceremoniously grabbing a slice of pizza and eating it.

"Hey, that's our pizza," the bespectacled girl immediately protested unhappily.

Darian ate the pizza and said cheerfully, "You forged information and took away a suspect, I have the right to arrest all of you."

At these words, the three's expressions changed drastically, and they immediately understood Darian's identity.

The long-haired woman named Jane frowned and questioned, "You S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents first stole our research equipment and experimental data! Now you want to arrest us. Is S.H.I.E.L.D. always so overbearing?"

"Yes!"

"..."

Seeing Darian admit it so directly, the three were instantly speechless.

They had thought Darian would at least try to defend himself, but he didn't even bother to pretend.

Thor, however, was completely at ease. Seeing Darian's arrival, he asked casually, "Darian, you're here! Is there something you need me for?"

Darian: "Nothing big, I was just assigned to monitor you."

Is he that direct?

The three were speechless, momentarily unsure whether to continue their previous conversation.

But soon they realized that Darian didn't seem to have any intention of acting, he was purely there to freeload food and drinks.

So, they became bolder and started talking about their first encounter with Thor. At the time, they all thought Thor was a mental patient, and in their panic, they directly stunned him with a Taser gun.

Darian nodded as he ate.

It is well known that Thor is afraid of electricity, which is very reasonable.

After that, Thor was taken in by Jane, who was responsible for all his food, clothing, housing, and transportation.

Of course, not everyone could do such a thing; first, you had to have Thor's looks and physique.

If Thor had been a bit more unsightly, he probably would have been sent to a mental hospital the next day, only able to boast to his fellow patients that he was the God of Thunder, only to find that the beds next to him were occupied by Hephaestus, Zeus, Apollo, Poseidon...

Just as the group was chatting animatedly, a tapping sound on the glass suddenly echoed.

Everyone looked over to see four strangely dressed men and women standing outside the pizza shop, excitedly waving and greeting Thor.

Upon seeing the newcomers, Thor immediately stood up excitedly.

"My friends, why have you come!"

Darian scanned the information of these four people and found that they were all warriors from Asgard: The Warriors Three, Hogun, Fandral, and Volstagg, as well as the female warrior Sif.

Sif said with a serious expression, "Thor, we're here to take you back to Asgard!"

Thor was slightly stunned, then shook his head: "You know I can't go back. Because of my mistake, Asgard went to war with Jotunheim, and my father died because of it. I must continue my exile."

As he spoke of his sorrow, Thor's eyes welled up with tears, and he bit into his pizza several more times.

Hearing Thor's words, Sif and the others all showed surprised expressions.

"Thor, who told you the King of the Gods died? He merely fell into a deep slumber."

"My father isn't dead?"

Thor looked shocked, even his pizza-eating motion froze: "But Loki clearly told me Father died!"

"Loki deceived you!" Sif frowned.

Immediately after, she briefly recounted everything that had happened in Asgard after Thor's banishment.

Listening to Sif's narration, Thor finally understood that he had been deceived by Loki.

Thor said in astonishment, "So, Loki didn't kill millions of Frost Giants?"

Darian: "..."

Seriously, buddy, is that the main point?
