Arc 2 chapter 25
Anos and Albert just stood there and looked at each other and the more time passed the more intense the atmosphere got.
Albert: (I feel heavy... And I'm not sure on what to do here... Like didn't we come here to stop Kali from sacrificing herself? And after that we were suppose to go to the elven village to ask the Ducher family about the Red Hand and all that shit... But look at me up here and this guy just took over Zumo's system right under my feet and now he's basically more stronger than me...sigh the way of life but... I'm not going down until kill this fucker right here and now! Cuz no one else will!)
Anos: I can tell you're deep in thought, care to share?
Albert: yeah... I was just thinking about killing your ass.
Anos: sorry but I have Zumo's mana now! I'm basically invincible!
Albert: well here goes nothing! Haaaaa!
The air around them started shifting and the storm was starting to get a little bit affected as well and even though Albert was not on the ground, it started shaking heavily as Albert unleashed his Aura Burst and tapped in to 70% of his power and now the whole battle field was trembling and the storm was going more violent and the ground started cracking and rumbling and before Anos's eyes Albert dissappeared and came back in a flash while in the state of aura burst.
Anos: where did you run off to?
Albert: I just removed some few people from harm's way that's all.
When Anos looked at the center of the storm, he was shocked when he saw that Alex and the other's are no longer there and that can only mean one thing.
Anos: (what the fuck! That was quick! How did he move them out of the storm and come back so quick! )
Albert: let's see what will last longer, me and family or you and fate!
Anos: (evil laugh) now that sounds cool! Come on! [rapid light spears LV6]
Anos threw a barrage of light spears on Albert and Albert dodged them and threw multiple [wind blades] at Anos which he responded with the same attack and their two spells clashed, making the mana on the air form a combustion out of pure mana concentration and now the battle filled was filled with dangerous mana contamination but that didn't stop Albert's and Anos's battle from raging on as Anos used Zumo to manipulate the storm's currents to fight Albert, Albert dodged the wind slashes and closed the distance between him and Anos but he was repelled by heavy currents which Zumo emitted at him and Zumo blasted an [energy cannon] at Albert, Albert dodged the Canon mid air but was struck from behind by a [light spear] from Anos but that didn't stop Albert as he balanced himself and used [rapid lightning strike LV10] at Anos but Anos used Zumo's aura to make his defenses unbreakable and then threw another barrage of [light spears] at Albert and Albert was forced to block all of them with his aura but his body was pushed to the ground and hit it with huge impact.
Albert: (shit! I'm in a big disadvantage because of that undead! Not only do I have to deal with wind currents but huge energy blasts too? I gotta figure a way out to defeat that unique ability of his)
Anos: are you tired? You can just accept your fate and die.
Albert: sorry but I wanna continue living more. How about you? I know your heart is not in the right place.
Anos:...
Albert: I mean I get it, you just killed the teammates that you have been raiding with for years.
Anos: the Sun Spiders knew that the day where they'll have to be sacrificed will come and they were happy to give their lives to me.
Albert: yes they were happy I knew that, but are you?
Anos:.... What the hell do you know!
Albert: you were attached to them, but you still took their lives anyway... What sort of twisted dedication is that?
Anos: one that will change this world and allow people to shape their own fate.
Albert: by using a curse to do it? That is no different from evil.
Anos: I know that I'm evil and I know also know that this will probably cost more lives in the future but... It will change everything for the better, and with that I won't stop.
Albert:... (looks at Anos's wrist) that symbol... It's the same as Drogo's... The Red Hand?!
Anos: oh? You met Drogo the elf brat? Well yes I'm a member of the Red Hand, what about it?
Albert: then you'll tell me what you wanted with Lucia?!
Anos: Lucia?... That's probably Drogo's project not mine, my project is the Cursed Storm and that's it. You'll have to ask Drogo yourself when you see him again but... Oh wait you won't cuz you're gonna die here! (evil laugh)
Albert: I'm not dying today and you can bet your ass I'm gonna come out on top of this fight!
Anos: where do you get the confidence? Have you gone mad out of despair?
Sion: that's mainly because I'm here!
When Anos looked behind him, Sion was standing there with a protection grimore on his right hand to make him immune to the dangerous mana on the air and he was looking at him with a serious expression.
Anos: what's a weakling like you gonna do?
Albert: a lot more than you think.
Anos: huh? How?
Sion: because I'm the brains of the party!
Now the battle is Albert and Sion vs Anos and dead Zumo, how is Sion's presence going to change the battle?
