Dorian's POV
Terror knotted my gut. Kenzie's words didn't make sense at first.
"You're certain about what you read?" Elena's voice was strained with fear.
"Absolutely!" Kenzie gasped, brushing hair from her face. "I know exactly what I saw."
I grabbed Kenzie's phone and scrolled through it.
An article branded me a murderer—already racked up millions of views.
My stomach twisted. When I couldn't stomach any more, I shoved the phone back at Kenzie.
"That's fucking insane!" I exploded. "Who the hell would pull this shit?"
Kenzie just shook her head.
Woody dies after leaving my mother's place, and now they're pinning her death on me?
"It was a goddamn car accident," I said through gritted teeth. "And the wound's still bleeding."
I yanked out my phone and dialed Sophia. She answered instantly.
"Yes sir."
"Sophia, I need you to track someone down. They're dragging my name through the mud online. Find where this bullshit started and who's behind the account. Now."
