While Jinchul and Gunhee were walking towards the meeting room, a staff came towards them hurrying "President, Chief, we are suddenly experiencing two dungeons in the same area one A and one B Rank, Knights Guild Master had to leave regarding that"
"Well this is certainly rare, are you sure its in the same vicinity and also on the rank?" questioned Jinchul.
The statistical probability of an A-Rank and B-Rank gate appearing within the same kilometer was astronomical.
"Yes Chief, we verified it and the Knight Guild also confirmed it" replied Staff A with a nod.
"Restrict the whole area, extending around 20kms. No residents, normal people should be around there. Check which Guild is with available high rankers, call them ASAP. I need to know whether they are willing to go in." ordered Jinchul to Staff A who ran away to do the job.
"It seems what you have predicted may come true, Jin." told Gunhee for which Jinchul thought that this shouldn't happen too soon.
"President, I dont think it should be happening too soon with the evidence we have collected. But I am thinking of taking my team there to contain the situation" Jinchul replied
"It's a good idea," Gunhee agreed, his sharp eyes reflecting the gravity of the situation. "We cannot home-school hunters anyway. They grow by hunting. I will give permission to attack the dungeon if no guild shows up or if the perimeter breaks down."
"Yes President, we will leave right away" replied Jinchul
Gunhee placed a heavy hand on Jinchul's shoulder. "Jin, don't worry about anything. If need be, go all-out. Do not forget, I, Gunhee, am the President and you are under me. Hahaha! So if anyone wants to come against you, they will face me."
Jinchul saluted, a rare smile tugging at the corner of his mouth before he turned and broke into a fast stride. He pulled his phone from his suit pocket and dialed Taeshik. "Taeshik, get the team to the armory immediately and get ready. We need to leave now."
"Yes Chief, we will be there in few minutes" Taeshik immediately responded, hearing the seriousness in Jin's voice.
Few minutes later
While Jinchul was strapping his gauntlet to his hands. He saw the team coming towards him along with his two subordinates & Byung-Gyu
Chiyul asked " Mr. Jin, may I know the situation. Is it regarding a Dungeon"
"Yes Chiyul, you are right. Look team, there is an unprecedented happening in it. Two Dungeons - 1 A and 1 B Rank have simultaneously popped up near each other. So we need to go there and contain the situation immediately. Knight Guild members should be there." replied Jinchul while looking at his team.
The team fell silent. An A-Rank gate was a city-level threat. Two gates in one spot meant the mana interference would be chaotic, making it nearly impossible to know about the situation properly.
"We may have to raid the Dungeon as well. So Suit up Guys!" concluded Jinchul while the team replied Yes.
Song Chiyul looked older in his combat robes, but his mana was steady. Kang Taeshik adjusted the harness for his obsidian-coated daggers, moving with the restless energy of a caged panther. Lee Jin-Seok, the massive shield-bearer, looked like a mountain in his heavy plate armor. Behind them stood Byung-Gyu and Jinchul's administrative duo, Kim and Lee.
Jin turned to his subordinates. "Kim, you will come with me. Lee, you will stay here and coordinate with Kim from the hub. I need a direct line to the satellite feeds. Understand?"
"Yes Chief" they replied in unison.
While they were getting ready to leave the association. Staff A came towards Jinchul and told "Chief! White Tiger and Hunters Guilds' top executives are currently inside scheduled A-Rank dungeons. They can't be reached. However, the Reaper Guild Master, Lim Tae-Gyu, confirmed he is heading to the site. He says he will contain the situation until you arrive."
"Got it. Thanks for your work. Tell White Tiger and Hunter Guilds to be on standby once they leave the dungeon." replied Jinchul while Staff A nodded.
"Let me drive, Jin. I will also be near the perimeter, my healing power should be helpful right?" asked Byung-Gyu, who was till now silent.
"I was thinking of taking you along anyway, Min. So lets go" replied Jinchul with a slight smile.
As the van crossed the 20km perimeter, the signs of the Mana Storm became evident. The streetlights flickered and died. The sky above the district was bruised, swirling with unnatural purple and blue clouds—the physical manifestation of leaking mana.
They pulled up to a makeshift command tent.
"Kim, give us the layout." said Jinchul while they were stepping out from the vehicle
"The A-Rank gate is located in an abandoned warehouse district. The B-Rank gate opened less than 400 meters away, near the subway. The interference between the two is creating a 'Mana Storm.' Electronic devices are failing within a two-kilometer radius." replied Kim thinking of the information he got before they reached this place.
"Kim, you will stay outside the perimeter and update the association regularly. Team, let's go" replied Jinchul while walking towards the tent.
In the Command post where Lim Tae-Gyu, the Reaper Guild Master, was shouting orders to his subordinates. He looked stressed. Seeing Jinchul step out of the van, he marched over.
"Woo Jinchul! Thank God. The Knights Guild is already inside the A-Rank, but they've lost contact. The B-Rank gate is pulsating. I don't know why but it looks like it is going break away soon." Lim Tae-Gyu said, wiping sweat from his brow.
"I think it's because the two dungeons are nearer to each other. But Thanks Guild Master Lim for containing the situation." replied Jinchul while looking at the B Rank Dungeon portal.
"Mr. Lim, are you planning on raiding the dungeon now that we are here. The Association can contain the situation here" asked Jinchul while his team was checking the perimeter.
"Ah Mr. Woo, you are joking. The Guilds situation is known to everybody. We are at the weakest point. I do not think we can attack the dungeon successfully" replied Lim while shaking his head with a sad face.
