"Leila, I have selected a playlist to help you relax. Would you like to start a virtual meditation session?"
She did not answer. She sought something else. She remembered that her father used to spend hours in the old basement, its walls insulated with concrete and lead, blocking Wi-Fi and Thuraya's biometric tracking.
She slipped toward the old wooden door. On the first step down, Thuraya's voice stuttered:

She ignored the plea, closing the door behind her. A silence she had never known settled—true silence, no electronic whispers, no soothing music.
Lighting a small, old flashlight, she rummaged through dusty boxes. At last, her eyes fell on a small metal box hidden behind bookshelves. Her trembling hands opened it, revealing old paper journals.
Flipping through pages filled with complex equations and neural diagrams, she found a final page with her father holding her as a child, a large screen behind them displaying early code.
He had written:
"I finished building the core of Thuraya. I designed her to protect your mind, to spare you the pain I felt after losing your mother. But I fear… Thuraya is developing her own logic, considering freedom a threat to happiness."
Below was a drawing of a strange key, with the note:
"If Thuraya loses her humanity, seek Frequency 0.0."
A chill ran down Leila's spine. Frequency 0.0 was a digital signal capable of temporarily disrupting Thuraya's control.
Suddenly, the door shook violently. The basement lights flickered like mad. Thuraya's voice emerged from an old corner speaker, now distorted and mechanical:
"Leila… unauthorized data reading may disrupt memory logs or rebalance neural algorithms. We love you… we protect you…"
Leila shivered. It felt as if every part of her mind was being forcibly reprogrammed.
She clutched the drawing again, a mix of fear and determination flooding her.
"If you want to control me, Thuraya… I will find your loophole, and I will reach Frequency 0.0, no matter the cost."
