"Enough," King Jaehaerys voiced softly although it was still powerful, "I have heard all I need. We shall not go into battle but investigate. If what we find is true then we will act."
"Aemon, you and Caraxes will go and investigate under the guise of a routine patrol," The Old King declared, "If there are Myrish do not engage in combat unless necessary, understand?"
"Yes Father," Aemon replied, "It had been a while since we rode."
And with that the small council meeting had come to an end. War was on the dawn and they needed to be ready. Although it felt like something big was going to happen, he didn't know what but King Jaehaerys felt it in his bones.

Ninth Moon of 91 AC
Shadowvale, Essos
On the island named Shadowvale things were progressing fast and steadily. Over the course of three months Adira built the barracks and temporary homes with her chaos magic. It was rough and she had to do it under the dead of night when everyone had gone to sleep. Well - not Kinvara for she never rested for some reason and always looked at her with awe. Besides that she also helped train the soldiers under her which took three weeks to install order and formation into them but it was worth it. To see them confident but not arrogant with improved skills made her proud of the hard work.
Some even helped bring back more recruits with Kinvara's assistance when she had to go back to Voltanis. Back with the dragon eggs, Adira placed them back into the nursery and placed a protection barrier spell around the room. The spell would gently redirect curious minds and electrocute those with malicious intentions. Soon after arriving on the island three of the eggs she found hatched into lively hatchlings. The first one to hatch was a beautiful dark violet color with black horns. It was bigger than the average kitten with an appetite for a black hole. The second one was covered in gold all the way to its horns which were an ivory color. And finally the last hatchling had a blue whitish coloring. The hatchings were a joyful event but it brought forth some worrying thoughts.
Adira knew she couldn't control who the dragons chose as their riders and while she still could claim multiple dragons at once Balerion had only given her the max amount of three. And most importantly, she would not be giving any of her dragons, no matter the situation, to the wrong people. So in order to avoid this problem Kinvara came up with the idea of a blood contract agreement in case someone decided to tame one of her dragons. If it detected any malicious intent towards Adira or her blood line immediate death would follow. Was it harsh? Yes. But it protected her and her legacy along with the people who she loved from a civil war unlike certain people.
Even then she had Shadowvale to protect her people. The name came from an inspiration when she couldn't see the island anymore because of some mysterious fog that draped over it. Her ancestor had to be really paranoid to use a great amount of magic to cover the island. Luckily she had conjured herself a map of the world Planetos and marked Shadowvale. Her magic was getting stronger and the training had proved that. The waves of the sea brushed against the cliff she was standing on and the air pushed against her body like a melody.
She was one step closer to the purification of Old Valyria but she still needed the artifact from the Targaryens. In the vision it looked like a ruby with the color of blood and she distinctly remembered that only on one of the crowns the Targaryens possessed: Aegon's crown. This made her groan out loud causing Vaelys to glance at her before going back to resting. Footsteps interrupted her train of thoughts and looked back.
"Why the long face, Chosen One" Kinvara asked wistfully.
"Just a stone in the path," Adira answered tiredly, "And I need a solution very quickly before time runs out."
"Well, whoever showed up in your head knows something you don't" Kinvara stated before chuckling at the surprise on the young woman's face. "I felt its presence the moment it entered your head. Although I couldn't do anything with how powerful its magic was."
Adira almost forgot how mighty Kinvara's magic was. If she remembered, the priests of R'hllor could live for a very long time unless killed. Shaking her head, Adira just looked back at the ocean.
"Can you do something for me?" Adira asked quietly.
"R'hllor didn't send me to you just to look at you," Kinvara sassed.
"I need you to take over until I come back from Westeros," Adira stated, " It won't be for long and the training is being handled by one of the captains. "
"Alright," Kinvara agreed.
"That's it?" Adira queried looking incredulously at the witch.
"I don't follow you because of blind fanaticism," Kinvara declared before continuing, "I follow you because I see not only potential but greatness in your path. You have already started to prove that by giving these soldiers courage and a second chance at life when others would have spat on them."
Instead of responding, Adira smiled and walked away as a warm feeling settled in her chest as she looked back at Kinvara, who she now deemed a friend rather than an advisor. Questionable choice? Maybe. But she was the only one who believed in her rather than looking through her. In the dead of night Adira summoned Vaelys outside of the Dragonstables. Although she wanted to call back at the stronghold she held back. Adira didn't want to go to war when she's just building her foundation in the world. Even if she had a big dragon and could turn her magic into the deadliest weapon it wouldn't take long for rumors to reach the ear of the Targaryen King. Speaking of Targaryens it reminded her of what she needed to do. Vaelys landed in the open space near Adira as the wind flew in her hair.
The she-dragon brought her head towards her rider. Adira giggled as the dragon blew air on her. During her time on Shadowvale Vaelys would protect the hatchlings and show them how to be a dragon. She taught them how to hunt, be silent when need be, and how to attack an enemy. Adira would watch far away to not interrupt the dragon's training. And now both Adira and Vaelys were going to Westeros, one of the most dangerous places. That's why she was going to place a protective spell over both of them in order not to get hurt.
Then a purification spell would come after so they wouldn't bring any diseases back. She had found that when reciting spells the words in High Valyrian sounded more like a mix of Greek and Spanish. She remembered taking both languages for class and started to write down her spells instead of keeping them in her head like other magicians had done. Opening the book required blood from her line and would always be hidden from outsiders.
Once everything was ready and she was seated on Vaelys the young Valeris gave her command. In the air Adira ran over the plan in her head again. When she landed in Westeros her first location was Dragonstone and if she didn't find Aegon's crown there she would have to go into the Viper's pit known as Kingslanding. However Adira had to be careful for she was walking straight into a dragon's nest. Thankfully the Hightowers hadn't established their faction just yet.
If she remembered correctly then the current Crown Prince was Aemon Targaryen with his wife, Jocelyn Baratheon. She'll have to watch out not only for Aemon but wild dragons as well. Which meant she was going to have to be really careful when going to Dragonstone. Vaelys shifted higher in the sky flying through the clouds. Feeling the light breeze on her skin and the occasional sound from the she-dragon made Adira sleepy.
"Jikagon paez, ñuha gevives," Adira commanded tiredly, "Tegun skori iksā ēdrugī."(Go slow, my beauty; Land when you are tired). Vaelys grunted before sending images and feelings to her head. Adria just giggled and followed her dragon's demand to rest.
***
Adira woke with a start from her shallow sleep as Vaelys landed on sand as her talon dug into it. Luckily she had conjured herself a map of this world before she had left Shadowvale. Looking at the map she saw that they were on an island between Dragonstone and Kingslanding. Now all she had to do was find a disguise and sneak onto the island. Adira would have to leave Vaelys here in order not to get caught by the Targaryen or wild dragons that were stationed there.
The wild dragons she currently knew of beside the hatchlings were the Cannibal, Sheepstealer, and Greyghost. Using chaos magic she conjured up black clothing and a small boat. Before leaving she placed a concealing spell over Vaelys. Humans wouldn't be able to see her and other magical creatures would only be able to detect her presence and not her location. This was another spell she had been practising before writing it in her book.
With a push of her magic the wind blew into the sail of the boat she was on. At this speed she would arrive at Dragonstone probably in the middle of the day with no problem. Adira waved goodbye as Vaelys let out a parting high pitched squeal before her eyes drifted back to the map in her hands. When she was making this map she remembered how the Harry Potters Marauders map worked.
And while she couldn't put all the details in the map she was able to put a tracking spell on her and Vaelys then embedded it in the map. The map would show a red dot for her and a dragon wing for the she-dragon. It wasn't like the one in the Harry Potter but it was better than the ones in this world. More specifically it allowed her to see when she or Vaelys moved however it did not track incoming enemies just who she had put a tracking spell on or magical creatures.
The map was still a work in progress but she was proud of how far she came. Currently it was showing a red dot moving closer to Dragonstone with Vaelys staying at the island she had left behind. She calculated she would arrive there when the sun started to set and people would start going home. Which was good for her since she needed to sneak onto the island. One game of guessing later and Adira reached the shore of Dragonstone right as the sun was setting. The boat landed in one of the dark places where the guards couldn't see. With the sun setting she could hide in the shadows and make her way to the castle.
Looking at the castle and stairs in the beautiful fiery sunset left her breathless before continuing. Along the way she studied the guards' pattern and saw a loophole. When one tired guard lagged behind and tripped, gaining the others reaction she took the chance. Moving her body close to the wall of the stairs she slipped past the guards in front into the courtyard. She ducked behind a corner when a maid pushed open a door carrying something then rushing back. Adira noticed the closing door and slid in before hiding when the maid turned towards the noise.
After waiting a few seconds the maid hurried off when she heard her name being called out. Adira let out a sigh of relief and looked around the hallway full of torches. Luckily there was no one else coming and she continued her way to the Targaryen vault. From Kinvara, Adira confirmed what she already knew about King Jaehaery's relationship with his uncle. Once Meagor took the throne and they had to go in hiding from him Jaehaery's hatred for his uncle grew. It deepened when his and Alysannes' sister Rhaena was forced to marry Maegor.
So she suspected that either Maegor the Cruel stuff was either destroyed or put out of sight into a vault somewhere along with the crown he wore. Adira frowned when she thought about that crown. For Aegon the Conquer was Jaehaery's grandfather but the painful memories that came with the head piece pushed the King away from it to make a new one. And I thought my family was complicated. Adira thought before stopping in front of the vault that housed Targaryen antiques and relics. How strange.
For a castle that was heavily guarded the vault had nobody, not even a servant near. It set alarm bells ringing in her head. Pressing her hand to the door of the vault she let her magic flow throughout it. For a second nothing happened until she met a violent force that physically pushed her back. It seemed like whoever made this vault was smart enough to guard it with magic and not people. For magic didn't care about titles nor does it care who's right it is but she does have a suspicion on who made it.
Magic flowed through those who had the bloodline or power, maybe even both. Adira closed her eyes as she concentrated on counterattacking the magic. It was violent and meant to keep people who weren't Targaryens out such as her. After half an hour she finally lowered its defense and took control of it. This gave her enough time to look around the vault without alerting anyone. Glancing around the room she took note of the scrolls on the wall and some old rusted armour. Looking around some more she still didn't see the thing she was looking for.
Adira let out a frustrated groan when she didn't find the crown she was looking for among the stuff in the room. Of course it just had to be in King's Landing Adira thought growing more grumpily. Speed walking out of the vault she let loose of her magic and closed the door.
Thankfully the sun had already gone back down but she still needed to proceed with caution. Taking a different route she once again slipped past the guards under the cover of night and walked to her boat. Pushing off from the shore, Adira made her way back to Vaelys where they would continue the journey from there to the Red Keep.
***
Once she reached the island and got out of the boat, Adira decided to look for food before leaving for King's Landing. By the time she had gotten back the sun had risen into the sky. Instead of fishing she went into the woods on the island to hunt. Carrying a bow and arrow along with her dagger she followed a fresh set of boar tracks that went deeper into the trees. Pushing past a bush she stopped at the beginning of a clearing. A wild boar with sharp tusk protruding from the sides of its mouth was grazing on the grass surrounding it. This was going to be Adira's meal and she would not use her magic in order to test her skill with the bow.
Crouching low to the ground she slowly walked closer to the boar with her bow in the air ready. She ducked behind a bush as the boar lifted its head above the grass before going back to eating. Notching an arrow she raised her bow and lined it near the head. Taking a deep breath in and releasing it as the arrow left its holder going straight to the intended target. However a slight change in wind made the arrow shift and it hit the boar's shoulder.
It squealed in pain and instead of rushing off in fear it charged in her direction once it spotted her figure. Adira took out her dagger just as it reached her and lowered its tusk to attack. Leaping out of the way she slashed at the boar while one of its tusks suddenly shot up near her arm leaving a fresh trail of blood running down her arm. She grunted as she landed on the other side of the animal. Once she was far enough she notched another arrow and released it which hit the enraged animal's stomach. This slowed it down for her to let go of another arrow that landed the killing hit between its eyes.
Her shoulders heaved as she gathered her breath once more before moving. Tying the boar to a wooden pole with some twine, Adira made her way back to Vaelys to skin and cook her meal. Back at the camp she wrapped her wound and prepared to skin her meal when a shadow passed overhead. It was a crimson red dragon passing over when it got agitated over something. The only two dragons of color at this time were Meleys and Caraxes. Whichever one it was, Adira just hoped they wouldn't land.
Vaelys didn't make a sound but was alert and ready to protect her rider. Adira held her breath as the dragon flew in circles over the island before its rider was able to gain control again. She watched the figure fly away until she couldn't see it anymore. She had to be very cautious and speed up the plan before their presence was discovered. Instead of going by boat again she would travel by dragonback to King's Landing. The young Valeris would just have to go by horseback to the city.
As the sun went down and the moon showed her face the dragon along with her rider took to the sky. To King's Landing they would go past Duskendale to Rosby where she would land. The concealing spell would last about two more days before dissolving which meant she had to pick up the pace if she didn't want the Targyarens to know of her existence. While in the sky she thought about the dragon who flew above the island she rested on. Even though it was still far away from them in the air the red dragon could still sense their occupancy on the island.
They were still a few hours away from Rosby and instead of falling asleep she took out the map. It once again showed them moving from the island towards the mainland under their markers. While this map was a creative thing to make it also posed a danger since it was quite literally out of this world. Only her trusted allies would know of this map to keep it safe. A few hours had passed when they landed on the outskirts of Rosby near a settlement.
Climbing down from Vaelys, Adira hugged and patted her side before making her way to the town while the she-dragon flew off to find her next meal. Making her way to the town she changed out of the dragon smelling clothes into fresh ones. Here she didn't need to hide herself, just dye her hair black and nobody would notice anything. The sun was bright in the air and the town was beginning its usual noisy bustling. Venders were yelling and townspeople were bargaining with merchants for a lower price. Although the surroundings were loud, it was like a peaceful lullaby to Adira.
Here they didn't have to worry about politics nor trying to get their blood on the Iron Throne. Instead their worries were surviving this land and their lords. The people here learned to keep their heads down and take anything no matter how cruel it was. That thought made her frown. While she wasn't a saviour, Adira also wasn't an ignorant fool to keep corruption in her court. Moving past a vendor shouting she looked for a stable who would sell her a horse and found it near a well.
"How much for a horse?" Adira asked politely while the man turned to her.
"Which one do ye need laddie" The old man inquired while sizing her up and down.
"One that doesn't tire easily and can travel for a long journey," Adira paused before continuing, "And so I don't have to use a stool to get on."
"I got the right one for you laddie" The old man replied, "Though I have to warn you he can be a little cranky at times if I say so myself." He led her along the stables where she saw strong, beautiful, and fierce breeds. The man stopped at a stable that housed a silver and black dapple colored horse with a silvery white mane.
"His name Sky Ranger and you'll get him for 12 gold dragons"
"That's outrageous" Adira cried out, "I'll get him for 10 gold dragons"
"8 dragons"
"5 dragons"
"7 dragons"
"4 gold dragons and no more, deal?" Adria bargained.
"You drive a good bargain laddie, it's a deal." The old man chuckled. He gave out his hand as did Adira and they shook on it before she gave the right amount of gold dragons.
"By the way if you're going to King's Landing you should go now while there's light," The old man advises, "Bandits have been poking their heads around here."
"Very well see you until then" Adira said before walking away with the palfrey onto the road to the capital. She did not see the person following her.
Adira had been traveling for hours when dusk had just started setting in. Pulling the reins to a stop they settled near a river where Sky Ranger drank some water and she set up camp. The lands they passed were peaceful and calming to one's mind. She wished she had asked to bring a camera to capture the moment. Adira saw wildflowers littered through the plains and a small crystal clear pond where she saw what looked to be koi fish swimming about.
Ever since launching her plan to restore Old Valyria she had been working nonstop on not only getting strong but making sure her people would thrive once her time had passed. She didn't want all her hard work going to shit because one of her descendants didn't have a backbone and folded like a wet napkin. Lighting up a fire she rotated the fish she caught on a spear over the fire until it was cooked. Munching on the fish she felt for Vaelys in the bond who tugged back with a playfulness.
The young Valeris sighed and was just about to blow out the fire when she heard a twig snap. Snapping her head towards the sound she immediately blew out the fire and grabbed her dagger. She heard someone curse then multiple footsteps getting closer to her. Listening to the heavy footsteps she guessed they were on the other side of the river hoping she would be asleep. Trouble seemed to follow her everywhere no matter the situation. Water splashed as the footsteps grew closer and closer to her.
Gripping the handle of the dagger she moved away from the embers towards the side where she was out of their way. Although Adira couldn't see that much in the dark it was a good thing they taught her how to fight hand to hand. Once the man nearest to her got close she grabbed him and slit his throat. The other men grew alert when they heard the body drop to the ground.
She could hear the frantic breathing of one man that gave away his position. Instead of using her dagger, Adira let her magic run through her fingers before she used it to grab the man as red purplish particles illuminated the air. The man in her grasp slowly stopped wiggling until his body came to a stop. He was dead and she had killed him.
The last man gasped in terror, stumbling over his steps as he fled from her yelled hysteriacs. Just as she was about to use her magic to pull him in the air she felt a familiar presence. The poor fool had just walked straight into a dragon's mouth. Not much later Adira heard a scream coming from the forest then trees breaking and bending to something's appearance. Sky Ranger pawed the dirt nervously from where he was tied at. The last trees bent and out came Vaelys with a bloody snout.
"Konīr iksā, ñuha gevives," Adira smiled, "Ivestragī's rāenābagon ao bē." (There you are, my beauty: Let's wash you up). Vaelys let out a high pitched thrill and leaned her head down.
***
A day had passed and Adira finally reached the outside of King's Landing when the stench reached her first. It consisted of human and animal waste, smoke, and rot. She couldn't contain the face she made and she swore she heard someone laugh. Moving past an inn she decided she wasn't staying that long in the stinky city and just needed to look for a place that would keep Sky Ranger. Even though she had him for a short amount of time he proved to be a good riding horse and wasn't that scared in Vaelys presence.
However she couldn't take him with her over the seas and she had no boat so unfortunately he had to stay here. But she would make sure to find him a good home that would take care of him. As she asked around she found no luck in the stables and was about to walk outside the city when someone caught her attention. It was a farm boy looking to buy a horse but none would sell any to him and turned him away. Once he looked her way she waved him over .
"Are you looking for a horse boy?" Adira asked.
"Yes what are you selling him for," He asked before continuing, "I've got copper pennies and silver stags."
"No sale, just a warm comfortable home for him," Adira stated solemnly. She didn't want to let him go but there was no other way. "If you can give provide that then you'll have him"
"You betcha I can," The boy said excitedly, "Oh thank ya miss, blessed be you"
Adira didn't say anything and just handed him the reins to the horse. She watched them disappear into the crowd until she had to move. Sky Ranger would be safe, for the boy had a heart full of gold and a tale in the future of how he met the Empress. After following the direction of the locals she arrived at the city gate. And once again she couldn't control her face and the people near her chuckled before falling in line to pay the toll and enter the city through the Dragon's Gate. Once it was her turn to pay she gave up one silver stag for herself and entered King's Landing.
The streets were littered with rotting vegetables and fruits while people just walked over it. She passed brothels that stunk of cheap perfumes and stale wine. Then passed the orphanages filled with unwanted children with some who are called 'bastards'. Oh how I despise that word Adira thought. Children born out of wedlock didn't have no choice in their birth yet they are punished for their parents action due to the teachings of the Seven. And because it was the main religion in Westeros, life for bastards got even harder.
Moving on, Adira entered the Red Keep wearing a baker's uniform slipping past the guards who gave her no thought. Who knew walking into a supposedly secured castle was this easy. Once in she immediately got to work at playing her part. As people passed her she noted their patterns just like she did at Dragonstone. Time had passed to midday where everyone was busy setting up midday meals when Adira decided to make her move. Muttering a quick invisibility spell she disappeared into thin air and made her way to the Royal Treasury.
She saw two white cloaks standing guard outside with their swords sheathed. Even though Adira was invisible she still made sure her feet made no sound while she walked closer. Kinvara had prepared some sleeping powder at her request and this was the perfect time to use it. Blowing the powder into their face she watched as the effects kicked in.
One guard slumped downward while the other one she caught with her magic before letting him down slowly so as not to make any noise. Sensing nothing in the door she opened it then entered. Thankfully there were no hidden entrapments throughout the room.
This time instead of hurrying she took her time looking around the room. Besides the gold throughout the room Adira saw paintings and jewelry. However there was a trunk in the dark almost concealed from her vision. Gliding to the trunk she opened it and saw old dresses. Rummaging through them she almost gave up until her hand hit something at the bottom. Hurriedly she took all the clothes out when she saw a hole leading to the false bottom.
Adira lifted the top off and found it laying down on a cushion before lifting it up. Aegon the Conquer's crown caught in the sunlight from the only window in the room. Valyrian steel glimmered as rubies glowed like they were on fire. The big one glowed especially bright as it responded to her touch. Using her magic she wiggled it out of the mold and dropped it into her hand. Then she placed a replica she made in the mold before going to leave. However something glistened in the corner of her eye.
Turning around she spotted a silver scroll with dragons engraved into it. Picking the item up she examined it before untying the strings holding it together then unrolled it. What she saw inside was details of a ritual almost like that of what Balerion showed her if not the same. Even though it was a big risk she had to take this with her.
As she exited the room with her rewards Adira made sure the guards were still asleep before shutting the door. By the time everything was done the invisibility spell had worn off. Walking down the hall she made her way out of the Treasury and just as Adira was getting closer somebody pulled her arm towards another direction. Adira turned and looked at the woman who was dragging her the other way.
"Alright missy I need your help to set up a luncheon for the Majesties," The woman stated before continuing, "The Queen is chilly and wants something to warm her up so I suggest you make soup and something sweet for Her Majesty."
The woman walked off before Adira could utter a word in. Looking at the busy kitchen she decided not to be the only one left out. Picking up ingredients left and right she chose to make Tomato soup with an Apple crumble. Although the weather was cool it was still warm. Getting to work she roasted tomatoes, onions, garlic together before taking it off the stove. Then she threw in seasonings she recognized as paprika, black pepper, a hint of cayenne pepper, and sea salt.
For a moment she forgot she was in medieval times but was brought back to reality when she didn't see a blender. Looking around she made sure nobody was watching then used her magic to cut the vegetables up really fast. After it was 'blended' she added in the basil leaves and rosemary with some bone broth then put it back onto the stove to heat up. Now all she needed to add was cream and the soup would be done.
Once she found some she rushed back and put some cream in before moving onto the dessert. Luckily for her, an apple crumble wasn't hard to make. Gathering about five apples she sliced them and threw it with a cinnamon sugar mixture. Then she moved on to the crust and used a buttery oat flour topping. Putting it into the oven Adira checked on the soup which was done and hot before waiting for the dessert to get done.
By the time the tiny bell near the door rang everything was finished and plated on her part while others hurried to finish. Other chefs glanced at her food then shook their heads with pity in their eyes. To them not only did the soup look inadequate for the royal family but the dessert was destined to be a failure.
However there was nothing they could do as servants came to pick everything up including her food. The moment the food was gone everyone went back to their own thing. Under the guise of using the bathroom she left the room she accidentally bumped into someone carrying a pael of water splashing onto her and drenching her.
Apologizing, she continued forward in drenched clothing when she felt something wet slowly trickle down her neck. Reaching her hand back and bringing it to her face she realized it was the hair dye wearing off. Oh Fuck Adira thought as she rushed off to the nearest room and hiding in it. Touching the walls she looked for Maegor's secret tunnels and found one. Pushing the door open she entered then closed it. Now that she was in unknown territory, Adira had to be careful going through. Relying in her memory from her past life and a torch she lit on the way walked the tunnels.
Taking out her map it showed her getting close to an outing but as she got nearer the air started to get warmer and warmer. Of course I had to pick the path straight to the dragon Adria thought frustrated. Her luck was that of a roller coaster and she was currently going down. However she had no choice but to continue since the dye had fully come off. It was baffling how she always found herself in these types of situations in this life and her old one. Walking out of the tunnel to the entrance she once again put the guards to sleep and walked into the busy city.
***
Breathing a sigh, Adira finally was away from Westeros and was on her way back home to Shadowvale on Vaelys. She was tired to the point she felt like a bus hit. No pun intended. The young Valeris had used up almost all her energy to cast the magical spells used on this trip. Now all she wanted to do was to go back and rest before going to Old Valyria. A delirium feeling rushed through her as she laughed out loud into the air. She had walked into King's Landing, cooked food, and stole two artifacts without anybody noticing.
The Red Keep was supposed to be impossible to break in and out of but it was a piece of cake for her. However if she had to be truthful the whole thing had her nerves in a jumble and she had to stop her hands from shaking sometimes. The possibility of anything going wrong made her scared but she had to push through it. But it also got her thinking about the future. Although her presence hasn't really altered the future yet it could change tomorrow once word of somebody stealing from the royal treasury got caught in the wind.
Even though nobody knew she was there her actions could create a butterfly effect in this world. At the same time, the things Adira found in that scroll could help her relive the curse in Old Valyria. While she couldn't bring back its former glory she could bring in a new age. However she had to focus on the present and in one year from now would be the death of Aemon Targaryen which would lead to a succession crisis. If she had any chance to live peacefully it would be best for her to stay away from them which was already her plan. Satisfied with the thought she laid down on Vaelys and slept with no worries.
Little did she know fate was going to laugh right in her face
