Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Diary Reveals

Her hands shook as she carefully unfolded the worn sheet of paper. The familiar handwriting of her father stared back at her, every letter carrying warmth, love, and something she hadn't felt in months

"My Daughter" — the title at the top made her heart ache.

She began to read.

"My dear daughter,

If you are reading this, it means I am no longer there to guide you. But I want you to know how I hope your life will be, and how I wish others to treat you.

Always remember: wherever you go, never forget your roots. Teach others to respect even the smallest things...every penny has value, no matter how little. Treat everyone with respect and dignity.

Keep love in your heart for everyone, but never raise your hand to harm anyone. Know that in this world, there are good people and bad people. Learn to recognize them and act wisely. Always stay strong, brave, and smart. Face challenges with courage and never give up.

Carry yourself with pride, but stay humble. Protect your sister, your family, and yourself. Remember, my child, you are capable of great things.

I hope you grow into a kind, brave, and honest girl. I hope you stay curious, always learning, and never be afraid to ask questions. I hope you smile even when life feels hard, and I hope you never lose your courage.

To anyone who reads this: please treat my daughter with love and respect. Guide her gently, encourage her dreams, and never let her feel small or unworthy. Protect her innocence, and help her grow into the strong person I know she can be.

And my little girl… always remember: you carry my love wherever you go. I will always be with you, even if you cannot see me.

Her lips trembled, but a small spark ignited in her heart. For the first time since her father died, she felt… a flicker of hope.

Then she reached the last line.

"P.S. There is something I never told you… something that will change everything."

Her eyes widened. Her heartbeat quickened. What could her father have hidden from her?

She held the diary close to her chest, determination growing in her heart. No matter what, she would uncover his secret. And she would survive

because that's what her father would have wanted..
