Xiao Jietian teased Xiao Yan with a playful smile.
"Tian Ge, stop teasing me. I don't know what that Young Miss wants," Xiao Yan replied. He was still clueless.
"Alright, I came to find you to go see Instructor Ruo Lin," Xiao Jietian said, mentioning tomorrow's Inner Academy selection competition.
"Okay, we're going now?" Xiao Yan's face lit up. Finally, he could meet geniuses from other places.

"Alright, Yu Er, stop fooling around," Instructor Ruo Lin's soft voice interrupted.
Xiao Yu returned, glaring at Xiao Yan.
"I'll take you to see the teacher. You've taken over a year off," Xiao Jietian said.
The four knocked and entered Ruo Lin's room.
"Our little genius Xiao Yan has finally come?" Ruo Lin teased, seeing him at the back.
"Since you're all here, I'll explain the Inner Academy selection competition," Ruo Lin said seriously.
She explained that the Inner Academy is the core of Jia Nan Academy, and placing in the top fifty allows students to cultivate there. The Outer Academy is just for testing.
