Rhaelis was surprised by what Zain said.
"So you're..."
May arrived with the food and ale when Rhaelis was about to talk. She looked like she was on the verge of dropping everything but they helped her to put everything down.
It looks like Rhaelis ordered 5 plates of meat, 3 bowls of soup and 5 cups of ales while Zain ordered 10 plates of meat and 10 cups of ales.
May held the food in some sort of a double layered tray and ales in something similar to it.
"Here's your food Lucas and Miss Rhaelis." May said after putting everything on the table.
The table was practically full.
"Hey, where were you yesterday and today?" May asked Zain something she was curious about.
"Yesterday I was at the village near the forest and today I was here on this kingdom."
Zain said as he started picking up meat.
"Village near the forest? There are like 5-7 villages near the forest, which one is it? Doesn't it have a name?"
"Huh I don't know the name but they were celebrating something." Zain said as he took the bite of the meat.
"Celebrating? You must mean..."
"Hey woman, where's my food?"
May was about to say something when someone called out to her. She said her apologise and left the table.
Zain kept eating the meat without care. Rhaelis looked at him and decided to talk.
"Are you a swordmaster Lucas?" Rhaelis said to Zain as she took a bite of her meat.
"What makes you think that?"
"You said you have a sword."
"I do have a sword and trained with it then I guess I'm a swordmaster." Zain shrugged his shoulders as he ate his meat and drank his ale.
"But you fought me without a weapon!" Rhaelis said in anger as she smashed the table. Everyone looked at them when Rhaelis caused a commotion.
"Didn't Zack tell you what my trade is?" Zain stopped eating and looked at Rhaelis in the eye.
"No, he said you fought him without a weapon too."
"Figures. Listen Ray, I trained to fight without a weapon by using my hands."
"But..."
"I also trained to fight with a sword. I trained to fight with also magic. That makes me a Martial Artists, Swordsmaster and a Mage. I am a Warrior, Mage and a Sage." Zain said to Rhaelis. After speaking he grabbed his meat to eat.
"But you should've fought me with a sword." Rhaelis said with disappointed look
"Then you shouldn't have held back." Zain said to Rhaelis without looking at her. Rhaelis was slightly surprised.
"So you noticed. By the way you owe me." Rhaelis said to Zain.
"Oh yeah. I guess I do." Zain said to Rhaelis but he thought 'She's still remember that.'
"You owe me 900 gold coins." Rhaelis said as she drank her ale.
"WHAT!!!!" Zain shouted as he stood up rapidly on the chair. Everyone looked at him.
"Yes, I cut you 9 times." Rhaelis said as he looked at the standing Zain.
"I never said I'll pay you 100 per cuts. I just said I'll pay you 100 if you make me bleed." Zain said as he looked at Rhaelis and thought 'They did say she liked money.'
"A bet is a bet."
"Yes but I'll pay the bet I made." Zain said as he sat down.
They ate the food in peace. They kept talking about the kingdom and Rhaelis mostly talked about her adventures. When she asked Zain about his adventures, Zain just tried by all means to change the subject.
Zain eventually talked about going to the castle and meeting the king. He didn't tell her about Maribel and anything that was discussed in the castle besides him buying a house.
He didn't tell her about being a noble.
They finished eating and Zain payed May 1 gold coin for all the food. He told May to keep the change.
He gave Rhaelis her 100 gold coins to her without much. Rhaelis booked a room at May's inn too.
When Rhaelis went to the room, most men left the inn and the people who were staying there were left.
Zain went to his room, he saw that Maribel was still sleeping and Raph was on the floor. He picked it up while saying sorry and the sword eventually returned to the tattoo form on his forearm. Zain put Maribel's hands in the spatial storage and not in the spatial pouch.

Zain used clean magic on the room as well as made the room warm, created a field that kiils pest and eventually slept on the floor.
The morning came and when Zain woke up he saw Maribel sitting on the bed with her ruined dress. She looked at Zain when he was standing up.
"Morning." Maribel said as she looked at him.
"Morning." Zain said as he looked at her.
It was an awkward silence when the finished greeting each other. Maribel and her ruined clothes was clean because of Zain's clean magic.
Zain looked at her and realise that she has no other clothes. Zain said embarassed, "I should probably get you some clothes."
Maribel nodded and Zain went downstairs. She's spotted May real quick and went to her while she was serving.
"Morning May." Zain said to May.
May turned around and said, "Morning Lucas."
"May, can you do me a favour?" Zain said feeling embarassed.
"Sure, what favour is it Lucas?" May said with a smile on her face.
"(Sigh) Can you borrow me one of your dress?" Zain said embarassed.
May said nothing. This was an awkward silence as May frowned while she looked at Zain.
"I didn't know you are like that Lucas." May said with a disappointes look.
"It's not like that."
"No need to explain. I understand." May said with comforting voice as he left Zain.
May came back with her dress folded and gave it to Zain. Zain knew that he was being misunderstood.
Zain took the dress and went to his room. He saw Maribel standing with a thinking posture but she stopped when she saw Zain coming in with clothes.
Zain gave Maribel the dress and went downstairs. He spotted Rhaelis in a different outfits. She wore fitted tunic, durable pants, leather boots, belt with pouches, and her sword on her weist.
"Good morning Ray." Zain said to Rhaelis as he sat down.
"Morning Lucas."
"You dressed nice today. I would like to say you're Ray of Sunshine." Zain said to Rhaelis as he smiled with happiness as he said that.
"Why would I stab you with the Sun?" Rhaelis said with a confused look as her her tilted sideways.
"You know what, just forget it." Zain said with a surprised look. He looked at Rhaelis and found out she doesn't have a tail.
"Why don't you have a tail or do beastfolk don't have one." Zain said to Rhaelis.
"I had one." Rhaelis said with sadness on her face. Zain saw his look and didn't bother to apologise or continue the subject.
When Zain was about to orde food, apparently Rhaelis has already ordered a bunch of food.
Maribel came downstairs and spotted Zain sitting with a beastfolk. She went to the table and Rhaelis saw her coming.
"Good morning Miss." Maribel said as she stood beside Zain. Zain saw her standing beside him and said, "Sitting down Maribel." as he gestured with his hands near him.
"Oh, Maribel this is Ray and Ray this is Maribel." Zain said casually to Rhaelis.
"Nice to meet you Miss Ray." Maribel said respectfully.
"Yeah me too." Rhaelis said with indifference.
The food arrived and May saw Maribel wearing her dress. She realised that Zain didn't want the dress for himself and deeply apologised.
"By the way Lucas, who is she?" May said to Zain with curiosity.
"Her name is Maribel." Zain said as he grabbed the soup to eat.
"Maribel. Where did you meet Lucas Maribel?" May said to Maribel.
"Lucas???" Maribel said confused as he looked at Zain and said "He bought me."
Zain spit the soup he was eating.
