Chapter 22 - Chapter 57 – Sister's Wrath

The moment the young girl completed her transformation, her form appeared flawlessly crafted. This girl was none other than Ella's twin sister, Olivia. Unlike Ella's previous transformations, which unleashed destructive phenomena upon her materialized body, Olivia radiated an unusually calming aura.

The onlookers stood frozen, a gentle warmth spreading through their bodies, as if they were being lovingly cradled like infants once more.

"I'm... sleepy," Mary murmured, her eyelids growing heavy. She didn't understand what was happening.

Olivia's presence, the complete opposite of Ella's destructive aura, was wrapping them in a soothing warmth, as if the very world itself were favoring them.

The Witch of Calamity felt the same drowsiness, barely able to resist the overwhelming temptation to sleep. She found herself staring at Olivia in the distance, who now radiated a white, mysterious aura that seemed to draw the adoration of the entire Human Realm.

Astonishment flickered in her eyes. "Just what is she? How is she doing this? Could she be the daughter of this world will?" she murmured, speculating but unable to be certain. Olivia stood untouched by the oppressive laws that shackled others.

Instead, the laws seemed to embrace her, strengthening her many times over, leaving the Witch of Calamity deeply shaken as she watched.

The thirteen Guardian Gods of the Human Realm sensed the will of the world stirring, as if recognizing a deep familiarity within Olivia.

Shocked, they immediately knelt, as though welcoming the very creator of the Human Realm herself. Across the lands, hundreds of thousands of humans reacted instinctively.

Some fell to their knees in reverence, while others, overwhelmed by the warm presence, drifted into sleep, cradled as if by the safest embrace in existence.

The Dark Emperor, seeing this scene, was stunned.

"What is this presence? It feels as if the world itself protects her. It even feels like she could command the laws at will. What is happening?" he growled, his body trembling uncontrollably.

Already heavily suppressed, he now faced an opponent capable of further sealing his strength. A cold fear gripped his heart. If he stayed, he would have no chance of escape.

His true realm was suppressed, his real body and core locked away, and he could not even generate one percent of his original power. The urge to flee surged within him like a tidal wave he could no longer resist.

Olivia remained suspended in the air, her narrow eyes revealing the faintest hint of deep red as she observed the people around her in silence. Anger simmered beneath her calm exterior.

Earlier, in the divine space, she had attempted to guide Tia in her cultivation. But despite her best efforts and every method she tried, Tia couldn't cultivate at all.

Olivia had repeatedly consulted the system, but the answers provided left her feeling confused. She couldn't understand them. Finally, she excused herself from Tia's room, claiming she was still searching for a solution.

Tia, anxious and worried, was relieved at Olivia's words, but as soon as Olivia left, her calmness gave way to slight awkwardness. She felt embarrassed that she couldn't help, that she had been teaching without truly knowing anything. To avoid further humiliation, Olivia left.

She wanted to find Ella. Asking the system for an update on her sister's situation, Olivia's expression immediately shifted when she heard the words from the system: there was a ten percent chance that Ella's consciousness might not return.

This meant Ella was in grave danger. Though Olivia often took a playful approach to things, when it came to Ella's safety, she became deadly serious.

Her expression now reflected silent fury as she quickly asked the system to assist in saving Ella. And so, she appeared in her current form, having created a perfect clone of herself.

Ella was left speechless, not expecting to see Olivia.

"Vivi, what are you doing? It's dangerous here! Go back now, and I'll finish this quickly," Ella said, despite the cracks all over her body, on the verge of being reduced to ashes.

However, Olivia didn't respond to her words.

"No, I don't want to," Olivia said with half-lidded eyes, crossing her arms stubbornly, refusing to obey Ella.

Ella was on the verge of losing her composure in anger, her body nearly dissipating in the process. She hadn't expected Olivia to defy her like this, not understanding the gravity of the situation.

Ella had barely managed to fight the Dark Emperor in his weakest form, and still couldn't defeat him. Now, she felt that Olivia would only become a burden and cause more trouble. She couldn't help but stare at her twin as if dealing with an immature child.

"Vivi, just go back. My opponent is no ordinary one, so sever the clone and go back to wait for me, okay?" Ella said, trying to maintain a warm smile, even though she couldn't truly feel the warmth herself, as her clone lacked any real emotions. She continued trying to persuade Olivia, but before she could say more, Olivia waved her hand.

SWISH.

Olivia temporarily controlled the space, locking Ella's physical body in place. Ella was stunned and in disbelief.

"This... Vivi, release me!" Ella cried out, feeling the weight of the space binding her. She hadn't expected Olivia's control over space to be so profound, capable of trapping her even with her full strength active.

Confused, she immediately asked the system, "System, how is this possible? Why can't I break free from these space shackles?"

The system responded instantly.

DING!

[Your twin sister Olivia possesses a unique affinity for the Human Realm due to her race and bloodline. This affinity grants her the ability to command the laws of space. Her space suppression carries an essence of law, allowing its use for a limited period. The duration can be extended as a result of her deep comprehension of the Space Dao.]

Ella's expression shifted as disbelief took hold.

"What? Are you saying she's become the Human Realm's Will's favorite? What in the world..." Ella muttered, feeling as if her previous struggles paled in comparison to someone capable of controlling the law. It wasn't just any law; it was a primordial law, nearly identical to Dao paths.

But unlike Dao paths, which could be cultivated endlessly, this law stemmed from the depths of the multiverse, serving as the stabilizer of worlds. Its power was so immense that Ella couldn't move a single finger, even if she wished to.

"Dammit, how frustrating."

Ella grumbled softly, unable to do anything as her body continued to be consumed by the price of her technique.

Meanwhile, the onlookers, having overheard their conversation, finally began to piece things together.

"So they're sisters… no wonder," one of them muttered in astonishment.

They couldn't tell where the two had come from, but many speculated they were gods from a higher plane — a rarity among rarities. Normally, even gods with higher realms of strength would be suppressed by the world's laws unless they had transcended them, a natural system of balance that extended even into the higher realms.

Now, with two such extraordinary figures before them, the crowd was thrown into confusion. Speculations spread like wildfire, wild imaginations guessing at their connection to the Human Realm.

But Olivia ignored the crowd completely. Without wasting a second, she reached into the fabric of space itself, searching for the opponent who had placed her twin in danger.

In mere moments, she locked onto the Dark Emperor's aura, startling him into immediate flight at full speed.

Olivia's gaze sharpened as she muttered, "You rat. I'll definitely catch you."

She reached into the air, her fingers closing around an invisible force. Drawing on the surrounding space and borrowing the essence of the laws, she reinforced her power.

In an instant, the space in a radius of hundreds of thousands of miles shifted violently. Entire mountain ranges, including the peak where the Dark Emperor was hiding, were dragged through the void and dropped directly onto the Obsidian Grave Continent.

The ground quaked violently under the sudden addition of new mountains.

The Dark Emperor, who had been trying to hide, was caught completely off guard. Only then did he realize the terrifying truth: everything around him was being dragged back to the very continent where he had once been sealed.

His heart trembled in shock.

"She… she really can control the laws of this realm… Impossible…"

The Dark Emperor swallowed hard as he stared upward, seeing Olivia's narrowed eyes filled with deep hatred.

"This is truly troublesome,"he muttered, but before he could say anything more, Olivia spoke with a cold, commanding voice that instantly made the Dark Emperor fall to his knees.

"Kneel, rats."

Her soft words rippled through the surroundings with overwhelming force. Even the nearby human powerhouses, who had been watching from a distance, were caught within the authority of her voice.

In an instant, hundreds of thousands of humans dropped to the ground, their foreheads smashing into the dirt.

Fear filled their faces, but Olivia remained unmoved. In her eyes, everyone present was responsible for Ella's suffering. She did not distinguish between enemy and bystander. She made them all kneel without hesitation, treating them as opponents without mercy.

Ella wanted to step forward and explain, but Olivia had already acted again. Waves of kneeling authority swept across the land, forcing every living human within her perception to slam into the ground repeatedly.

The earth trembled under the endless impact's, and deep rumbles echoed across the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the system rang continuously, calculating an overwhelming number of rewards from the scene unfolding before it.
