Chapter 01:
When i saw him...
I was just a High school student, trying to survive lectures and expectations.I wasn't looking for trouble.
Trouble found me anyway!
Today was my first day at the High school. My stomach was twisting with nerves as I walked through the crowded hallways, trying not to trip over my own feet.
And then… I collided with someone. Literally.
"Oh! Sorry!" I whispered, stepping back.
His voice was calm but strong. "Hello? Kiddo, are you okay?"
I looked up. And froze.
He was tall, broad-shouldered, everything about him screamed… dangerous yet magnetic. His eyes locked with mine, and for a second, I forgot how to breathe"
He asked, tilting his head with a teasing grin.
I bristled. "Kiddo? I'm not a kiddo, I'm an adult!"
He chuckled, a low, easy sound. "What? You look like a student to me."
Embarrassed, I bent down to pick up the books I had dropped when we collided.
"Let me help," he said, crouching beside me.
"No, it's fine. I can manage," I muttered, my cheeks burning.
I picked up my books and, without looking at him again, started searching for my classroom. My heart was still racing.
When I finally found the room, it was buzzing with students—lots of students like me, casually chatting and laughing. One girl caught my eye; she was effortlessly beautiful, and half the boys seemed desperate to talk to her.
I slid into my desk and took a sip of water, trying to calm myself.
Just then, the teacher walked in. The same one I had bumped into in the hall. My sudden cough betrayed my nervousness.
He smirked, noticing me, and glanced at me . "Take it slow with the water," he said softly, teasing. "Your life's far too precious to rush."
"I had no idea this first day would be anything but Ordinary "
