Chapter 3 - Disciple's Power Goes Berserk

He had indeed been arrogant in his youth, but that was purely out of a persistent pursuit of martial arts!

What "leaving a trail of broken hearts"?

That's simply nonsense!

"Brother, where are your thoughts wandering! I found this child on the mountain behind us three months ago..."

He sighed helplessly and gave a brief account of how he discovered Broly.

"Oh... I see."

Bomb realized the truth, the teasing look on his face fading, replaced by curiosity.

He extended a calloused finger and carefully poked Broly's tender cheek, attempting to tease the little guy.

However, Broly just kept his clear, large eyes open, looking at him without a ripple of emotion, completely ignoring him.

"..."

Bomb's finger froze in mid-air, and a trace of awkward silence filled the air.

"Alright, Broly, go play by yourself for a bit."

Bang saw his elder brother's embarrassment and smiled to smooth things over, while also wanting to have a good chat with the brother he hadn't seen in a long time.

He gently set Broly down on the ground.

Broly immediately let out a "Heave-ho!" and set off on his two chubby short legs. Like a waddling but goal-oriented little penguin, he went "pitter-patter" toward the door at an astonishing speed.

Bomb's eyes nearly popped out. He pointed at the small figure, his voice cracking: "You... how old did you say he was just now?!"

"Three months old," Bang said as if it were a matter of course.

"Three months?! Running all over the place?!"

Bomb felt his common sense take an unprecedented hit, his jaw nearly hitting his toes.

This wasn't just being precocious; it was beyond ridiculous—it was completely off the charts!

"Hahaha!" Bang laughed heartily, amused by his brother's "seen a ghost" expression. "Don't be so surprised, Brother. This child isn't an ordinary human."

"Not ordinary?" Bomb's curiosity was thoroughly piqued.

"Yes," Bang's smile faded, his expression turning solemn as he lowered his voice. "He... has a tail. Moreover, I can feel that within his tiny body, there sleeps an unimaginable, terrifying power. This power... is still expanding as he grows."

He paused, a flash of deep concern in his eyes. "I worry... if one day he cannot control this power, it might... bring an unimaginable disaster to the entire world."

In front of his closest brother, Bang finally let down his guard and spoke of the worries that had haunted his heart day and night for the past few months.

The aura of power that Broly occasionally leaked unconsciously made even a martial arts Grandmaster like him feel a sense of dread.

"Hiss..."

Bomb sucked in a breath of cold air, his brow furrowing deeply.

He understood this worry all too well.

Wasn't his younger brother Bang, who in his youth was arrogant and conceited, obsessed with the destructive power of the 'Exploding Heart Release Fist,' challenging and injuring people everywhere, and nearly unable to control himself, the best negative example?

If a child who possessed such terrifying power from birth ever lost control, who could stop him?

The consequences... he simply didn't dare to think too deeply about them.

"How about..."

Bomb pondered for a moment, just about to make a suggestion.

"Brother!" Bang abruptly interrupted him, his eyes instantly becoming as sharp as knives, carrying an unquestionable protective instinct. "He is my grandson! I will never allow anyone to harm him!"

His posture was like that of a tiger protecting its cub.

"Huh?" Bomb was stunned by his brother's sudden intense reaction, then realized what was happening. He slapped Bang's shoulder, caught between laughter and tears. "You idiot! What are you thinking! How could I possibly harm such a small child?"

He shook his head helplessly. "My point is, since he can't control his power, then teach him a method to control it! Start right now!"

"Teach him?" Bang was a bit bewildered.

"Exactly!" Bomb nodded vigorously, his eyes shining with the light of wisdom. "Your 'Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist' emphasizes uprightness and peace, overcoming hardness with softness, and neutralizing force into nothingness. Isn't it an excellent method for guiding and controlling power? Using it to guide the power within this child's body couldn't be more appropriate!"

Bang's eyes instantly lit up, as if the clouds had parted to reveal the sun!

"I see! I understand, Brother!"

The problem that had troubled him for days seemed to have found its key; his mind suddenly cleared.

However, the very next second after the brothers reached a consensus—

BOOM!!!

An indescribable, terrifying power that seemed to come from the primordial era erupted without warning deep within the dojo.

In an instant, a visible violent airwave, like an out-of-control hurricane or tsunami, swept in all directions with a force that crushed everything in its path!

The floorboards beneath their feet cracked and shattered inch by inch!

Sturdy beams and pillars groaned under the unbearable weight, while walls, doors, and windows were torn and pulverized like paper.

Wave after wave of violent energy formed destructive shock rings, frantically spreading outward, kicking up clouds of dust and debris. The blinding light made it impossible to even open one's eyes.

The entire dojo felt as if it had been thrown into a violent energy furnace.

Even the sky seemed to distort and change color under this force.

"Broly—!!!"

Bang's face changed drastically, his heart sinking suddenly.

This familiar yet strange violent aura—who else could it be but Broly?!

Without the slightest hesitation, Bang's figure instantly turned into a blurred afterimage, tearing through the violent airflow and shooting toward the core of the energy eruption—the training hall!

Bomb's reaction was equally fast, following closely behind. The two brothers were like two bolts of lightning surging against the current.

When they rushed into the training hall, what they saw was a scene of apocalyptic ruin.

The dojo Disciples were like fallen leaves in a gale, blown helter-skelter by the terrifying airwave, screaming in pain. Many had already fainted on the ground, foaming at the mouth.

And at the center of that destructive storm, little Broly was suspended in mid-air, his eyes as blood-red as rubies, completely devoid of the light of reason.

His tiny body seemed to have become an out-of-control energy furnace, as visible, heart-stopping golden-green flames of energy erupted, exploded, and rampaged violently!

The pressure formed by that power made even brothers as strong as Bang and Bomb feel their scalps tingle, their breathing hitching.

"The power is out of control! What happened?!"

Bang instantly assessed the situation. Broly's blood-red eyes were the most obvious sign—the violent power had completely consumed his reason.

"Mas... Master! It's... it's the Disciple's fault!" A Disciple, clutching his caved-in chest with blood overflowing from the corner of his mouth, struggled to crawl over, his face full of terror and regret. "I... I had itchy hands, I was curious about his tail... so... so I grabbed it... and then he... he became like this..."

"The tail?!"

Bang's heart tightened, but now was definitely not the time to assign blame!

"Broly! Calm down!"

Bang shouted in a low voice, his figure disappearing again and instantly appearing in front of the berserk Broly, attempting to soothe him.

However, what answered him was a tender yet incredibly terrifying fist, wrapped in destructive energy.

The air was compressed, letting out a piercing sonic boom!
