The Shadow Court - War Room
The map of the Azure Cloud Sect was spread across the table. Red markers indicated key targets: The Pill Hall, the Armory, the Spirit Vein Node, and the Ancestral Vault.
Around the table sat Mo Tian's generals.
Ghost One (The Spymaster): Foundation Establishment (Late).
Gu Sha (The General): Foundation Establishment (Peak).
Xue Yao (The Blood Empress): Foundation Establishment (Peak) - Asura Physique awakening.
Elder Zhang (The Traitor): Golden Core (Early) - Puppet.
"The plan is Operation Eclipse," Mo Tian announced.
He pointed to the Ancestral Vault.
"Phase One: Elder Zhang and Yan Luo open the Vault. I enter and secure the Core."
He pointed to the Outer Gates.
"Phase Two: The moment the array falls, Gu Sha and the Blood Devil Army attack the North Gate. Make noise. Draw the defenders."
He pointed to the Spirit Vein.
"Phase Three: Xue Yao leads the Shadow Court elites to the Spirit Vein. Slaughter the guardians. Plant the Devouring Spikes."
"And the other sects?" Ghost One asked. "If the barrier falls, the Iron Fist and Divine Sword sects will sense it. They will intervene."
"Let them," Mo Tian grinned. "I have prepared a gift for them too."
He pulled out a stack of letters.
"I have forged invitations from the Sect Master, inviting the leaders of the Iron Fist and Violet Sword sects to the 'Festival' to discuss a truce. They will be inside the sect when the attack happens."
"Inside?" Gu Sha frowned. "That adds more enemies to the mix."
"No," Mo Tian corrected. "It adds hostages. It adds chaos. When the barrier falls, who will the Azure Cloud disciples blame? The invading Blood Devils? Or the rival Sect Leaders standing in their Grand Hall?"
Mo Tian swept his hand across the map.
"I want total confusion. I want friend killing friend. In the fog of war, the only winner is the one holding the map."
He looked at Xue Yao.
"Are you hungry?"
Xue Yao licked her lips, her red eyes glowing. "Starving, Master."
"Good. Because in three days, the Azure Cloud Sect is on the menu."
