Chapter 84 - Chapter 83: The Court of Eternal Law

The Spirit Immortal Realm was vast, comprised of thirty-three floating continents. Above them all sat the Central Heaven, the seat of the Immortal Court.

This was the governing body of the entire realm, ruled by the Grand Immortal Emperor (Divine Sovereign).

In the Hall of Judgment, a bell tolled. It was the Bell of Fallen Gods.

The Emperor sat on a throne of blinding white light. He was a being of pure Order. He had no face, only a mask of shifting runes.

"Ancestor Xuan Yuan has fallen," The Emperor's voice was the law itself. "His Soul Lamp is extinguished. His Golden Immortal Law has been erased."

Below him, ten Heavenly Kings (Peak Golden Immortals) knelt.

"Who did this?" The Emperor asked.

A mirror floated forward, replaying the scene from the Void Tomb. It showed Mo Tian eating the needle, the explosion, and the consumption of the soul.

"An Ascender," The Emperor stated. "A Chaos Irregularity."

"He controls the Iron Wind Continent," A Heavenly King reported. "He has captured the Void Key (Princess Ling Long). He possesses the power to open the Void."

The Emperor stood up.

"Chaos cannot be allowed to exist. It is the antithesis of Order."

He raised a scepter made of starlight.

"Issue the Divine Decree."

"Mobilize the Heavenly Execution Fleet. One hundred thousand Immortals. Ten Heavenly Kings."

"Erase the Iron Wind Continent. Leave no dust."

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

The war machine of the Heavens woke up.

Ghost City - Throne Room

Mo Tian felt the shift in the world's Qi. It was a pressure he recognized.

"They are coming," Mo Tian said, looking at the sky.

"The Immortal Court?" Ling Long asked. She was sitting on the armrest of his throne, playing with a dagger. "They don't tolerate rebellion."

"Good," Mo Tian smiled. "Because I need more troops."

"More?" Ling Long looked at the army of Ascenders outside. "We have ten thousand Immortals. Is that not enough?"

"Against the Court? No. We need millions."

Mo Tian stood up. He walked to the Void Tomb Portal (which he had moved to the city center).

"I have a whole world of loyal monsters waiting downstairs," Mo Tian grinned. "I think it's time for a family reunion."
