Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 : The Last Night

The fourth day had passed, and night finally fell.

Yami collapsed onto his bed, stretching his arms from exhaustion.

"Finally… the day is over," he muttered.

Felix glanced at him.

"You must have been a strong warrior before…"

Yami looked at him, confused.

"You mean… how?"

Felix smirked.

"No one can reach this level in just four days. You must have been a pupil… one of the Farons."

Yami frowned.

"The Farons… what are they?"

"They're the rulers of the lower realms of every universe," Felix said casually.

Yami blinked, trying to understand.

"And Darkos… is he one of them?"

"Yes," Felix replied quietly. "The strongest Faron in the First Universe. But explaining that… it's complicated."

Yami leaned back on his pillow, letting the words sink in.

Felix laughed softly.

"No, I'd rather sleep."

Yami smiled faintly and closed his eyes, staring at the ceiling.

Later, as Felix changed into his pajamas, Yami remembered something.

"I had a strange dream last night," he said.

Felix raised an eyebrow, chuckling.

"Tell me… maybe it's a memory from your past."

"No," Yami shook his head. "I don't think it was a memory. I was… in empty space. I met someone with silver eyes. They talked about a 'Nuite' or a jewel, something called the 'Space Nuite.' I didn't understand it fully."

Felix laughed.

"Really? And then?"

Yami closed his eyes for a moment, recalling.

"He told me to clasp my hands… and instead of drawing out the Rast, I had to push it in… into my heart."

Felix grinned.

"And then?"

"I… don't know. I left that world," Yami admitted.

Later, as Felix opened the door to leave, he found himself in a vast, endless space—just like Yami had described.

Yami appeared behind him, eyes wide with shock.

"What did you do?" Felix shouted.

"I… I don't know. I tried to copy what I did in my dream," Yami admitted.

Felix looked at him carefully.

"And you still think it was a dream?"

He sighed, eyes narrowing.

"It has something to do with the strange color of your Rast… whatever it truly is."

Yami nodded.

"Then… where's that silver-eyed stranger?"

They looked around but saw no one.

"He's not here," Yami admitted.

"Can you take us back?" Felix asked.

"I think so," Yami said, clasping his hands again. In a blink, they were back in the room.

Felix placed a hand on Yami's shoulder.

"You're hiding a lot, kid. Arkan needs to see this… but that's for tomorrow. I need sleep now."

That night, both Yami and Felix slept deeply.

Elsewhere, Arkan lay beside his wife, staring at the ceiling in silence.

"Can't you sleep?" Fides asked quietly, rubbing her eyes.

"I… don't feel right," Arkan replied.

Fides reached out.

"What's troubling you?"

He held her head gently, kissed her forehead, and whispered:

"Sometimes… the paths ahead aren't clear. And sometimes… they take you away from those you love. You may never return the same."

Fides looked at him, placing her hand softly on his cheek.

"Is there something I need to know?"

Arkan shook his head slowly, voice low.

"No… but if there is one thing—know that I will come back. Even if it takes me longer… I will come back. I promise."

Fides smiled, resting her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. Sleep soon claimed her, while Arkan remained awake, fingers gently brushing through her hair, trying to memorize the moment before it vanished.

Outside, the night moved slowly, hours slipping by unnoticed.

And in the courtyard…

The sky was different.

The air heavier. Silence deeper.

The planet itself seemed to hold its breath.

No one yet knew…

That this night

Was the last quiet night

Before everything began to crumble.

Felix's voice broke the stillness:

"Ah… Yami wants to show you something."

Yami clasped his hands slowly. The surrounding sounds faded, as if the world itself had decided to quiet in respect. Arkan and Felix watched him, breaths held, the air almost too heavy to bear.

Suddenly—

The horizon trembled.

Clouds tore violently apart, the sky twisted, as if the night were being dragged into the heart of day.

A massive shadow appeared—not a ship, but a wound in the sky itself.

It was Darkos' ship.

Its surface was dark, absorbing all light. Faint red lines pulsed along its hull—not lights, but veins, alive.

As it drew closer, the pressure increased, crushing spirits before bodies.

Trees bent, dust scattered like ash.

Finally, the ship landed. Its impact was not a crash, but a muted groan—as if the planet itself cried out.

Felix clenched his fists.

"He's here…"

The three exchanged one determined glance, then moved together toward the ship.

And the silence of the planet… had only been the beginning of what was to come.
